This company does high quality work and is very professional. They were also responsive to secondary issues that came up and even redid particular areas to address my concerns. I would definitely use this company again.

I am very pleased with them. They were good. They designed the shelf themselves and then proved to me that it could hold 600 pounds of weight. They were prompt and reasonably priced.

I was very happy with the services performed by Mike-he was very friendly and I felt comfortable having him in my home. He came up with great solutions for the tasks we gave him-they were all the jobs we couldn't figure out how to solve on our own. He was punctual and started working almost immediately. He gave us a list of things he needed for us to get while he worked on trimming the doors-that saved us quite a bit of money. The job was completed in the amount of time estimated on the phone. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I had no problems with them. They were very efficient.

I spoke to John to schedule the service and we talked through my repairs and the materials I would need. I purchased the materials to eliminate paying the handyman to go to the hardware store. Larry arrived on time, we walked through all of my repair jobs and he got to work. He cleaned up after all projects and told me what was wrong with my doors, before he repaired them. I have never had to hire a handyman before and this was a good experience.

Although I am sure I could have gotten the work done cheaper elsewhere, Case provided me with exactly what I needed. They were on time for every appointment, on schedule with the work, and when the initial estimate was above what I wanted to pay, we worked together to figure out what would bring the cost of the job down to my budget and still get me the kitchen I wanted. I am extremely happy with the work--it is everything I wanted.

We did not use Case Handyman because they were too pricey. When we said it was too pricey, the representative said "I guess youre not Case clients?"

They were prompt and came out quickly. The person they sent out knew about windows and did not know much about decks. I told her what I needed. She had to check with multiple people who knew more than she did before providing me with an estimate that was more than double what many of her competitors were giving. Apparently she based this on dense lumbar thinking it was fire retardant. I told her that I needed fire resistant wood. She didn't know what that was. I went to home depot and looked it up via google. I had the answer in 30 min. and sent it to her via email. This allowed her to provide me with an estimate. The estimate was outrageous. Her knowledge base was slim to none. The company has policies where extra money has to be paid for people who build the stuff to come out ($1000 deposit for feasibility study, non refundable).

Dale Bunner was the Remodeling Consultant who met with us to review our needs and define the project objectives. From beginning to end he was a pleasure to work with. We were most impressed by his knowledge, and especially his ability to find creative ways to solve problems. The planning process resulted in a clear understanding of the work to be done, and the splendid team who worked on our project made sure that everything was accomplished. Throughout the project we found the staff to be reliable, skillful, careful, and neat. What was truly admirable was the way the crew worked together in such a supportive and creative manner. They clearly all admire each other and enjoy working together, and therefore as problems arose they had an amazing ability to find very creative solutions. There is additional work that we need to accomplish, and we plan to work with Case once again.

I thought the price was high for what wasn't done. It wasn't fixed to my expectations. I wasn't willing to pay more money to get it fixed they way they wanted it to be fixed. They did tell me that up front.

The representative from Case Handyman was very helpful in describing the work that needed to be done, but was not knowledgeable about the cost of purchasing the new water heater. The estimate for the electric water heater was given as $500. I had already checked prices on available models and knew the price of a water heater would be between $230 - $300. The remaining portion of the estimate was for the estimated time it would take the installer (a plumber and a carpenter) to complete the work. This estimate was nearly double the estimate received from other companies.

The man on the phone was polite, but you could tell he was not interested in sending his plumber to do the job. He kept saying how small the job was and how their plumber was "so busy with big remodeling jobs." He said he would call me back after he talked to him and never called.

I will be happy to sign this statement and fax it to you along with the signed contract with Case Handyman.

It was poor. First, they showed up over 2 hours late. I had to call them to find out where they were. Then once they arrived, they would not give an estimate, they just wanted us to sign a contract & then they would discuss price. I was advised they would go to their office & then send us an estimate. They said normally they charge $400 for an estimate. What I finally received only after I emailed them was your job will cost about $37,000-$40,000 & they advised this was "NOT AN ESTIMATE". I would never recommend them. They wasted my time & their own.

Case gave me an initial verbal bid of $1200 to stain and install the front door. Their bid included the installation of the lockset. It took Case a few weeks before they were able to schedule anyone to come out and do the work. Larry did an excellent job fitting the door and the staining came out perfectly. He did have to come back to install the new lockset, as he had forgotten it at Case's warehouse. And, all the weather-stripping needed replacement, which he completed. His work was top notch and the door fits tightly -- no air leaks. However, Case's original invoice was for $2400, double the original verbal quote. It took many phone calls before I was finally able to speak with someone and then several more calls to get a copy of a the job's timesheet. Charges for painting alone amounted to nearly 12 hours or 1/2 the job. After a couple of additional calls they reduced the overall price to $1700. Although their work was excellent, they are disorganized and hard to work with.

They wanted to charge me $400 just for the estimate and the work to be done is probably only $500.

The workers arrived on time and completed the door and floor work without incident. They even managed to stain the floor boards to match the water-damaged old boards surrounding the new ones. However, they had originally told us they could fix some tracks for window screens and when they got to that part of the job, they told us they couldn't do it after all. Also, in hindsight the price was rather high for the work, that was actually done.

The quote was very high. I would like to use them, but they are very expensive.

Case was annoyingly over responsive, calling my cell, home, and work phones simultaneously. We initially spoke for over 45 minutes about the work I needed done. At our appointment, I told him I had limited time to meet. He painstakingly walked throughout the house & looked at the jobs, then also pointed out things in every room they could also do, but in my opinion completely unnecessary. I felt he was pining for more work before I even gave him the job at hand. Finally he sat down & went through a whole rehearsed sales schpiel book. After 1.5 hours of selling he spent only 5 minutes coming up with an estimate, of which he provided no detailed breakdown. And it was VERY high. I told him I would get back to him in a couple of days since I was going to seek other estimates. In the meantime I asked for a breakdown of his costs. He never provided a breakdown though 24 hours later he called wanting to know if I awarded him the job. This company is all about the sell.

The people at Case Handymen are extremely professional in every sense. They are unobtrusive while doing the work and will thoroughly clean up the work area. The only issue I would take is that they're quite expensive. Still, I would use them again.

Case's estimate was $1200. I hired someone else to do the same job for $220! I felt that the ''handyman'' was more of a salesman. He was patronizing and made me uncomfortable.

They had to come back and do it over again. They ultimately met my standards, but they had to do it over again.

John was very helpful in suggesting that it would be less expensive to take the screen door to a hardware store to have the screen replaced.

I called to get an estimate on cleaning my homes gutters--one story home, 2 gutters. Their price was $88.00 an hour, 2 hr. Minimum. I had my son do it, it took him 20 minutes, and I paid him $50.00. Their prices are WAY out of line!

A Rep from Case came to our house and gave me a presentation on their company singing their praises. So I discussed the work with him and he gave me a verbal estimate on what it would cost. I was shocked at the number he threw out because it was significantly higher than what I had expected and what I was receiving from other companies. I asked him to fax/send me a final quote and he said he would (because, of course, they pride themselves on excellent customer service per the presentation I just sat through). Anyway, after a week nothing came so I called the guy. He never returned my call so I emailed him too. He never responded to that either. I was thoroughly unimpressed and would never hire them for any job.
