One of our town homes had a water leak. Once the leak was fixed, we then needed the drywall replaced in the ceiling and adjacent walls. Dave, one of their best guys, did the work for us, and he was terrific, opening up the damaged areas, pointing out where the insulation needed to be replaced, tracking the flow of the water (water leaks never seem to just come straight down) and actually finding damp sections we would never have discovered on our own. He was very thorough, explained everything, gave his recommendations, gave us options on how to proceed, and then did exactly what he was chartered with doing, and did an absolutely incredible job -- we have a "floating" ceiling, meaning the drywall is not just nailed or screwed to the studs -- it is floated about a half inch below the studs for additional sound-proofing, minimizing vibration transfer and eliminating unsightly nail pops -- but this is a very difficult type of ceiling to repair -- others have tried and completely botched the job. Dave from S.N. Peck is a true master with drywall, and clever at spotting future, potential problems down the road.

One of our wooden decks actually needs to be totally rebuilt from the ground up. However, we did not have the budget to do the entire replacement at the time, so we S.N. Peck "repair" and "resurface" the deck. They were very neat and tidy in tearing out the old splintered wood and showed me the specifics of the structure underneath. They recommended a couple of different recommendations to us, and we ended up replacing a couple of the stringers and generally shored up the entire structure so it will survive a couple of years until we have additional funds to replace it. Excellent Job. Super tidy, super fast, and again, gave us options and explained the time/cost/pros/cons of each option as we went along. Very happy with experience and results.

My experience was very good. The only reason I haven't used them again is that they're more expensive than other places.

Dale was responsive to calls and questions. Dave was nice, timely, and neat. The first two days of demolition revealed problems with 2 walls; other than that, the project was fairly smooth. The new casement windows are airtight and easy to open and clean. The L-shaped bank of 4 windows needed to be built up a few inches from the previous window frame to allow for a counter-height peninsula to be added under the. There were some small variances in the floor, so Dave added a strip of moulding to cover the slight gaps and stained it to match the cabinets. Floors and cabinets were provided by other companies, and Dave was able to work around that scheduling. The project took about 8 weeks.

We hired Harry Hernandez who was half the price, did the job in five hours, and his workmanship was excellent.

He sounded like he understood what I wanted but there was no follow up. He never got back in touch with me.

This is an excellent company. I've used them before. I have total confidence in the people that show up to my door to do the work. I have total trust in their reliabillity or if their is an issue, I know they will tend to it. They do quality work.

The project was estimated earlier this year. I waited several months to start the project, and then called back to get it started in June. The work was done in two days, and both days the contractor was at the job on time. The first day the tile was installed, and the second day the grout was applied to the tile. After the grout was applied and the contractor left, I reviewed the work that was done and found several tile joints that either didn't have grout or the grout had holes. I called the contractor back, and he returned to fix the issues. The next day I found more tile joints that had either no grout or holes, so I called him back again. The contractor returned and applied more grout. Again, the next day I discovered more missing grout or holes in the joints. He returned a third time and applied more grout. After returning three times, I still have tile joints that don't have grout. I have some experience with home remodeling, and have done enough work to know when workmanship is lacking. The planning, scheduling, and majority of the work was done very well, but the finish work could have been done a lot better.

The work was done extremely professionally, with everything completed in two days. The place was cleaned and left in spotless condition.

John was very helpful during my initial contact and in scheduling the appointment. I knew just what to expect and he worked to meet my availability. Mike arrived on time and was quick in getting to work. He did a nice job on all scheduled projects and was helpful in understanding how future projects can be addressed. Over all I was very pleased with Case and will hire them for future projects. (As an FYI.... Case is now S.N. Peck.... same people, just name change.)

They were on time and very nice. It was a nice experience to work with them!

The guy who came out from Case Handyman was very pleasant. He was honest and straightfoward. He was neat and attentive while working in my kitchen. I will use their service again in the future.

They helped us find a company to make the door. We had to wait for the door. They did install the door, but it did take a while to get the fan. They kept putting us off until we got fed up and broke the contract. They did refund some of the money. Everyone that I had dealt with at the company during our project ended up quitting. I finally had to deal with the president to some resolution. They were cordial, but they are inflexible and use the contract to their benefit. Now the door frame is cracking.

From start to finish, they were very professional and competent. The entire job took about five days to complete and they were able to do the work to my schedule. They even dealt with a last minute change to the original contract without a problem. They may be a bit more expensive, but it was worth not having to deal with rude, incompetent, or unprofessional work.

The person who came was very professional, and he went about his business very quickly. He even gave me suggestions on how to take care of some matters on my own. In fact, he gave me a small can of varnish and a brush that he had in his vehicle so I could take care of a flaw in the door. His gesture more than paid off for this company, as I've told a lot of my friends and business associates that they should use Case.

The company was responsive, punctual and practical. They determined that there was no leak (just a window that was left open, but caused a lot of damage), and that we didn't need to replace the duct work and venting. They also did a great job fixing the odd jobs around the house. They were creative in some cases since none of our walls are completely straight.

It was very positive, they were on time and they were punctual, they were very professional, they had a reasonable price and I would use them again in the future.

The door frame looks better than it ever has.

They had to remeasure everything so they could get it to work in the bathroom. They were very professional when they were here working. They showed up on time to do the work.

John at the office was very responsive in scheduling an appointment for us and was very thorough in explaining how the company operates and the charges associated with their services. On the day of the job, the craftsman was right on-time, was thorough and efficient and took the time to really look over the house and seal other trouble spots that we weren't even aware of.

I just had other cabinets installed from another company so now have a better sense of judgment on the quality of work from Case. My general assessment is that the install took too long and the work was not that great. There is a spacer that had to be placed and I can see a gap on one side that light shines through. The room is not plumb, but with this other install I just had done in another area of my house by another contractor, I think much more care was taken to ensure the spacers filled the gap exactly. Aside from this, I think it was overpriced for what I got. Also, the under-cabinet lights were installed and not placed where I would have liked. They have a very impressive initial consultation, but also had a issue with a call back on a second job I was getting a quote from them on.

Overall they did were very good very pleased. I have used them numerous times.

They were professional and fast. They did a great job!

Contract was based on their rep's time estimate, which turned out to be way too high. I should've shopped around but was in a pinch w/ in-laws coming and relied on Angie's List rating. They did fine work on cabinets and one set of lights. Other lights, however, came out of pkg. w/ too-short cord. Rather than tell me, worker hung lights w/ transformer right over where kids' heads would hit in bed. If worker had alerted me to obvious problem, I would've had time to make (multiple) round trip(s) to the home improvement store for replacement and still been well under the unnecessarily high amt of time they budgeted & I paid for job.

They weren't extremely responsive in calling me back, I had to call back myself a couple of times to get it scheduled, but they were very nice and helpful once I got them on the phone. The handyman came right on time and got the mirror off very quickly. Although I had explained to the office as well as the handyman when he arrived that I wanted the wall patch afterward, he would have left after removing the mirror if I wouldn't have stopped him. He was hesitant to patch the wall and I had to push him to do it. There is a 2 hour minimum and it took him less than 20 minutes to get that mirror off. So he finally patch the wall and then he was able to repair the toilet that was running. He was obviously in a hurry to get done and off to his holiday party.
