RUFINO PAINTING

Rufino Painting was able to complete the job within 5 days of me calling them. Every other painter I called in the city told me they were too busy. They showed up when they promised and finished the job one day quicker than they promised. I feel they gave me a fair price and did not come back with price increases during the job. I would definitely use them again.

Initially I was contacted quickly and he came over for an estimate. However after that it took over a week to get the estimate and he did not return our telephone calls. When we did reach him the proposals kept increasing.

They showed up on time and finished earlier than expected because they brought an extra painter. Raul called me back after I left a message and even referred me to a floor guy after job completed. Would recommend and use again.

Raul the owner responded quickly to my request for an estimate. Other companies took a few days to contact me and up to 10 days just to give an estimate. (It was their busy season) . When I met him he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and concerns about the job. I choose them because I liked the reviews he got on Angies list. He emailed me a written quote within a few days and I hired him for the job. He worked on job for about 6 days and showed up with his crew of 3-4 men every morning at 7 sharp every day. I liked that he only did one job at a time. Raul kept in contact with me throughout the job keeping me informed of his progress and of any problems or concerns he had with the job. He was also helpful in suggesting colors for some of the rooms which we were very happy with. They kept the job sight clean during the whole job. His prices were very comparable to other companies. Remember you usually get what you pay for. He did not leave the job sight until the job was finished and I was completely satisfied. They went above and beyond to do the job correctly and give the home a fresh clean look. I would use them again & recommend.

Raul was very responsive in coming out for the estimate, providing the estimate to me, and then planning the date for the work itself. On the day they came to work, he and his guys came right on time and finished the job within half a day. They moved my furniture out of the way and covered everything else up nicely. They worked quickly and efficiently to repair the plaster on my water-damaged living room ceiling and then paint the entire ceiling as well as the moulding. Afterward, they cleaned up the work area and moved my furniture back in place. Overall, a painless process for me and my ceiling looks great.

We could not be more pleased with Rufino Painting. We brought in multiple painters for estimates. Raul was among the least expensive to begin with. In addition, he brought multiple colors over ahead of time and compared how they looked on our walls so we could decide what colors we wanted to use. He did this all on his own time after work hours. The entire job took 1/2 day less than we expected. The entire crew was always on time, worked tirelessly, and couldn't have been more respectful of both our home and family. There was not a single problem during the 7 days they were in our home. Their work is outstanding, and we wholeheartedly recommend them.

We had an office that needed to be repainted to be a toddler's bedroom in a hurry (#2's due date was looming). I began working my way through the list of painters here but ones I talked to before calling Ruffino couldn't meet our immediate timeline. Ruffino came out the day I called to provide an estimate. They provided us a reasonable estimate and a painting day within 3 days of the call. [We had two different colors that we wanted the walls painted (the room was very unusual - carved out of space between the stairway and the next bedroom and had 10 distinct wall surfaces)] We were prepared too - we had our paint chips picked out and the was room spackled and ready. When the painting day came, they showed up on time, painted and were out. They were professional, quiet, friendly and did a knock-out job of a very unusual room. We were very pleased and will be using them again.

Raul and his team were great. The project required them to 'build' out the wall so that there wouldn't be a noticeable difference in on the walls and ceiling where the drywall was utilized vs. the existing latte and plaster. They were on time both days and clean up afterwards on both days.

The team was always prompt, even early. They were focused and precise, correcting some nasty plaster problems and moving on to primer and paint. Every phase of the job was done as quickly and efficiently as possible and it turned out much better than I thought possible. They even provided extra help with woodwork and lights. These are professionals in every way.

I hired Rufino to do drywall repairs on the walls and ceiling of one of my office's rooms, as well as paint all walls, trim, and accent walls. Raul is a true professional, both as a businessman and a painter. His team was very friendly, accommodating, and skilled... not to mention trustworthy. Raul was able to get his team to work the weekend for me for a nominal fee, which I greatly appreciated.I would highly recommend Rufino for any painting projects, and I'm sure they're just as good for other home services.

After buying a house but before moving in, we wanted to do several projects. Timing was tight. Raul not only fit into our schedule for painting but referred us to someone to sand & stain our floors first. Raul came in and we had a detailed discussion on colors for every room & trim. They generally use Benjamin Moore and I think it is the best paint. However for the kitchen I had picked a color from another store I loved and he bought paint for that room separately so I would get the exact color. The painting was done perfectly. There was no paint where there shouldn't be, like on hinges etc. The trim & moulding were done beautifully and they stand out now. The house looks so good and they were really thorough and careful on the details. I have gotten lots of comments on how great the house looks. I would highly recommend this company to anyone for painting. Raul is excellent at managing his operation.

Contacted Rufino Painting on a Friday to provide an estimate to fix some drywall and paint. First thing Monday morning (on time) they came out, took a look - was very upfront about what they could and could not do and why (matching paint to existing walls - great job managing expectations) and a had written quote emailed to by the end of the day. They came out that Wednesday/Thursday to fix some drywall cracks in a couple of rooms, on the ceiling, etc. They also painted three walls in one bedroom, two walls in two other bedrooms, two hallway walls and the entire ceiling of the living room. They were beyond professional and maticulus - their attention to detail was amazing. I could not be happier with the process and end result. Can highly recommend them.

We are VERY satisfied with the work performed. This was a 4 day job, the crew showed up on time every day. The crew was very professional and courteous. Always responsive to our questions and recommending methods to get the job done. They carefully moved furniture around as needed and covered it up to paint the walls and ceilings. The crew worked very diligently and we were impressed with the quality of work and their speed. They also did a nice job of cleaning up at the end of each work day. I solicited several estimates from other Angie's List painters. They all came in within a few hundred dollars of each other. We went with Rufino Painting because of the level of knowledge that was expressed during the estimate walk through. As several other reviews have noted, Rufino painting may not have been the cheapest, but they gave us the most confidence that the job would be done right. We were not dissapointed. Raul was very professional and provided us with recommendations on paint finishes and colors. It was his demeanor and level of knowledge that told us that Rufino Painting was the right choice. Rufino Painting stands by their work and did not require money up front to start the job like other companies. We had no issues with the completed work and gladly paid them the agreed upon price at the end of the job. We would gladly hire them again for any future paint project!

I contacted Raul for a quote. He immediately came to my home, walked me through the details and provided a decent quote. Since this is the only company I have used, I don't have a comparison...but it made sense what I was being told. In my mind, quality is the priority, I know that Rual and his team supersede expectations. The following week, Raul and his team showed up on time and worked 10 hour days to ensure the project was completed timely. Throughout the duration, I was kept well informed and provided great assistance with my color selection in the dining room. The team cleaned up every day and made sure I was pleased with their work. This is a team that really knows how to work well with one another. I was fascinated to see that each had a role and worked harmoniously to achieve excellent results. The results are stunning! The walls and ceilings look brand new. I had them paint the natural oak molding in the dining room white. I know many say that should not be done, however, when done right it is beautiful. This team did it right!!! All I can say is that this is the BEST company to use for all of your painting needs. I will be calling them again for more work.

Raul Rufino and his crew were excellent. The estimate and final price was very fair for the work completed. We uncovered a bead board ceiling when doing demo on the current ceiling - Raul was great through the whole process counseling us on how to restore - and the final product is amazing!! Paint job on the windows, radiators and walls is very professional. Quick turnaround - the crew was always nice and early, cleaned up well, and were very communicative throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend Rufino Painting to family and friends!

Have used several times before, and as usual, work was professionally done. Had used mostly on rental property previously, but this time on my residence. The results were excellent. Crew was very attentive to detail. Good recommendations as to gloss and type of paint. Not always the cheapest, but there is a reason for that: they do excellent work. Would not hesitate to recommend to others..

We are very pleased with the work completed by Rufino Painting. When had 4 painting bids and chose Rufino Painting because we felt confident in his assessment of our walls and his knowledge of what needed to be completed. We had 15 foot ceilings, walls, wood work and dry wall repairs that all needed to be painted. They weren't the cheapest bid we received but they were not the most expensive either. Each day the workers showed up early and ready to work. They work very nice, worked clean and and did quality work each day. They laid down drop cloths everywhere and covered the remainder of our condo with plastic so there were no drips or paint anywhere. We had drywall work that needed repair before it was to be painted and they patched and prepped them up beautifully. I'm very picky with any repairs that get done to our home and have high expectations and review all work very closely and they did a fabulous job! I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them for any painting projects.

We had an appointment set up to get an estimate. He didn't show up or call to cancel. Three days later I received a text letting me know it turns out he didn't have time to come to the estimate and would I like to reschedule. I refuse to do business with anyone who will treat potential customers in this manner.

Raul was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely responsive and helpful both by phone and by email, and very understanding when we had to reschedule our appointment unexpectedly. We ended up not needing the services after all, but if we did, I would not hesitate to contact the company again.

I was very happy with them. It looks so beautiful and great. They did it quickly because I wanted it done quickly. They came out really quickly and got it done. We are also going to use them for the rest of the house. They were reasonable and compared to others, they were pretty good.

. Raul Rufino and his brother Cesario and their crew were as professional and skilled in their craft as anybody I have ever contracted with on Angie's List. I am completely satisfied with the quality of their work and would recommend them to anyone who needs painting. Their overriding concern was the quality of the job and customer satisfaction.

Rufino has demonstrated that it is dependable and very responsive to customer requests. We really appreciate having had the opportunity to meet with them and discuss our painting needs. I called Raul to ask for an estimate and he came over the next day. He left me some paint chips to chose from and a very fair estimate. When we decided on colors he made arrangements for his crew to come do the work. They painted three large rooms in two days. I am very happy with the deal he gave me and the work that was done.
