These guys are AWESOME-above and beyond excellence! We painted the entire house, every room. It was a complex paint job-different color walls, different color doors& trim and ceiling, even a racing stripe around one room. 3 to 4 colors per room. Different colors in every room. They are careful and perfect, no stray drops, no smudges around corners. They sand the walls if needed so they look smooth. They offer advice on colors. Furthermore, they are not only prompt and on time, they planned around other workers coming in and out and padded their time in case our floors were delayed. If not for Raul, I think we might have had to delay our move. His brother does construction so we asked Raul if they knew anyone who could help us with other odd jobs around the house. They came back and did better than expected again! We will use Rufino for anything we can in the future, they do a great job and they are so easy to work with.

Raul and his crew are excellent at their trade and their work is extremely professional. Raul first came over to give me an estimate promptly after my call and arrived on time. He explained all of the steps he would need to perform on each part of the job. The doors were wood and looked so drab, Raul gave me two options painting or varnishing, and the pros and cons of each. He also explained that the walls in the room (which had peeled time and again with other painters) needed Kilz, an oil based primer. He explained in detail how he would repair the water damaged ceiling with dry wall and tape. I opted to paint the wood doors and Raul even offered color suggestions. The doors look fantastic! He transformed a drab hallway into a warm, much softer environment. The exterior doors are also so neatly and professionally painted. No more peeling. And the ceiling is free of dry wall seams and you can't even tell that there was any water damage. It has been several months now and the laundry room still looks fresh, clean and without peeling. Raul and his crew are neat, punctual, and extremely hard working. They do a great job to make your home look professionally painted and I would highly recommend them.

They came over to look at the job the same day I called and were able to do the work on very short notice over the weekend to meet my schedule. The crew arrived on time (early in fact), did excellent work and left the place in better shape than they found it. I would use them again without hesitation. The work was nicely done and the price was very reasonable. Very pleased with results.

I was in some what of a hurry to have my place painted so that I could move in. Raul from Rufino came out to give me an estimate the day that I called and was able to start the following Monday. He arrived early to every meeting (unfortunately for him since I arrived just on-time), and they completed the work ahead of schedule (estimated 3 days, done in 2). They gave me a firm estimate up-front and sent me an e-mail proposal with everything they intended to do for that amount. I supplied most of the paint, but they bought some trim paint and charged me their cost (no mark-up). The work was excellently done, and they did not leave behind any paint where it did not belong. They charged about what I expected to pay, but their courtesy, professionalism, and quality of work made it seem like a bargain.

Raul was professional in providing a quote and scheduling to fit our needs. On painting day, the team showed up on time and began working immediately. They handled the difficult areas (with piping and 12 foot ceilings) well. We kept our trim the original color and had accept walls painted and the lines Rufino left are very clean. Personally, Raul is easy to deal with. We would recommend Rufino for paint jobs.

USE THIS PAINTER! This was by far the BEST experience we have ever had with any professional service! Raul (the owner) runs a small, incredibly efficient and professional team and he personally oversees every detail. This is a family business! They really put not only their talent but their heart into every detail. We had just purchased our first condo, and closed just two weeks before Christmas. The unit was in sore need of paint and the previous owner had done a very sloppy job "fixing it up" for sale and used inferior paint. We only had two weeks to move, and were under enormous pressure to get the unit painted before we moved in. We called several highly recommended services on the list. Raul was not only the first to respond, but scheduled a visit for the very same day, in the evening for our convenience. The initial consultation was compounded by a snow storm, and most people would have canceled. But Raul arrived promptly! Other painters gave higher estimates over the phone, and said they would not be able to do the job until after the holidays. Raul understood our urgency and sympathized with our budget. His original estimate was very fair and competitive, and then he found ways to save us more money! E.g., at his suggestion, we purchased the paint ourselves (typically, painters provide the paint at a mark-up), and he let us use his trade discount at the paint store, so we saved even more money (about 50%). Raul helped us select all the right colors (all varying earth tones, which blended seamlessly throughout the unit), and he exactly matched the different veins of the marble tiles in each bath. He expertly instructed us on the exact amount of paint needed, so that we didn't waste money. He and his crew arrived right on time and went right to work. We fully trusted them to work alone in the unit and gave them keys. It was secure and clean when we returned from work in the evenings. It took them only three days to complete the job! This was a VERY complex project, particularly the ceilings (14 ft with multiple barrel vaults), which in many places are partially obstructed by exposed electrical conduit and duct work. There were places were it looked impossible to get between the ducts and the wall and ceiling, but they did. The closet interiors and utility room were especially tricky. They did an immaculate job!!! They corrected mistakes by the previous painters, and painted our baseboards at no charge (not part of the original project specs)! THEY UNCOVERED WATER DAMAGE (THAT EVEN OUR HOME INSPECTOR DID NOT FIND) AND REPAIRED IT, along with repairing hairline cracks and imperfections throughout before painting. Everything was sanded, cleaned and prepped perfectly. There is not a stray drop of paint or overlap anywhere. Lines are perfectly straight everywhere (Raul does not use painter's tape...he is just that talented). We are so proud of this place, and everyone raves about the colors and workmanship! Raul and team exceeded expectations!

They were fantastic. He was right on with his estimate. They were neat and clean. They were here when they were suppose to be. They were reasonable. They were done when they said they would be.

They were great. They worked long hours and got it done in about five days. We were very happy with their work.

When we remodeled our kitchen in 2004, the contractor recommended Rufino Painting. Raul Rufino was quick to respond and gave us a quote immediately. The quote seemed high until you read the details. Raul and his crew are meticulous. The prep work they do before the standard 2 coats of paint is ever applied to the wall is what makes their work far superior to other painters I've used in the past. They will patch, spackle, caulk, sand & prime not only the walls & ceiling, but also the doors and trim. They remove light switch plates, air vent and outlet covers to be painted separately. In other words, they do the job the way it SHOULD be done. It is this kind of attention to detail that makes all the difference to the finished, first-rate appearance of the room. Raul, Cesario & George arrive on time, work efficiently and neatly. They are pleasant & polite, and get the job done on time. For these reasons and more, I have hired Rufino Painting several times over the last 4 years and will continue to do so in the future.

Raul is quickly responded to my inquiry and came to my home for an estimate. He performed to work while we were on vacation in a sort amount of time. The paint job is wonderful and our house looks brand new. This is the second time we have used Raul and will do so again.

Price was high; this company's estimate was 65% more. I selected another Angie's list painter. Raul was polite courteous, and able to provide the estimate the same day I called. I would consider this company for other projects.

The quote was more than the double the quotes I received from other contractors.

Raul promptly came to my home and gave me a fixed price for the job (which was lower than 2 other quotes). He was able to come a few days later to paint. He and his team finished the job in two days with minimal interference. The paint job turned out great, I cannot even notice the water damage to the ceiling anymore and he did a wonderful job of cleaning up. I wouldn't hesitate to use Rufino again.

Raul came out to look at the work I needed done and to give an estimate not long after I had called him. He gave me a quote on the spot and I called him a day later to see when they could start. Raul and his crew promptly arrived at the agreed to time every day. The were extremely efficient and VERY neat & clean every stem of the way. All of the debris was removed from our house and neatly stacked where I had requested they place it. The drywall, priming, and paint were done perfectly. All in all, there were no surprises or disappointments with Rufino - I have since recommended them to several people I know.

Raul and his team do an excellent job. I liked the higher quality brand of paint they recommended, and how everything came together. They provided a written estimate and worked to ensure I was completely satisfied with every detail of the project.

RAUL AND HIS CREW WERE VERY NICE AND HARD WORKING. THERE WERE 4 IN THE CREW AND DID A HUGE AMOUNT OF WORK IN JUST 3 DAYS - 2 COATS OF BENJAMIN MOORE PAINT AND THE STRIPPING AND PAINTING OF THE STAIRWELL. THEY WERE THE LOWEST BIDDER I GOT FROM THREE BIDS AND WERE VERY PROMPT IN GETTING QUOTES AND RETURNING CALLS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB, WITH NO PAINT SPLASHED ON THE NEW KITCHEN CABINETS.
