I was so pleased. I thought hiring a decorator would be a big, expensive project and it was anything but. Karen was very generous with her ideas and enthusiastic about improving our room, even in small ways. Her estimate includes draperies for one large window and two small ones, and recovering our four ugly dining room chairs. We have had to postpone the work for a few months but I was so surprised at how affordable it will be. I'm sure we'll hire Karen again.
Description of Work: I asked Karen to consult on how we can improve our living room colors, and make it feel more spacious. Karen gave me an estimate for several affordable steps we could take, and she also has great ideas for other ways to brighten the room. I thought interior decorators were for rich people with fabulous homes, which in neither case applies to us, and she showed me that little steps can make a difference, and are affordable and worth it.
