Highly recommended. Morris came promptly to see us, quickly figured out what was wrong with our door, had a replacement part in his truck, and quickly fixed the problem. He even gave us some useful info about our garage door, generally, and about what to expect over the next few years. He was clear about the price and honored the Angie's List discount.

Morris showed up perfectly in time, was quick to diagnose the problem, was upfront about the price, and fixed it quickly.

Morris, the technician was very prompt and courteous and took time to explain what was causing the loud, jarring noise every time the door was raised or lowered.

The service from Morris was excellent. Came out yesterday (on time) for an estimate and then installed the new door today. Was profession, courteous, very knowledgeable and installed the door in less than three hours. I would certainly use Roberts Garage Door Professionals again and request Morris. Great job!!!!

On 07 Mar 16 I discovered that the tension spring for my overhead door had broken and would not open. I went on Angie's list and found the ad for Robert's garage door, after reading some of their information and reviews I gave them a call. I spoke to Robbie who was very professional and answered all my questions. I was hoping to get the job done as soon as possible, Robbie said he had a serviceman in the area and that they would be at my home shortly. Soon thereafter I received a call from Morris the serviceman, he relayed that he was on the way to my location. Morris arrived and observed the problem, after explaining to me what work he was going to do to fix the problem he got right to work. In a flash he fixed my garage door, and inspected the door mechanic's for any other problems. I would recommend this company for any garage door problems as they are KNOWLEDABLE, FAST and Robbie and serviceman Morris were true professionals.

I'm very pleased with the work Morris did. He installed a new garage door opener and matched the price of a competitor's promotion. He also didn't charge me for extra work like fixing a broken hinge on the garage door.

They sent Aaron, who was efficient and professional. We called around 9AM and he was there by noon.

George phoned 20 minutes before he arrived. He examined the door and immediately determined that it was completely frozen to the ground. He broke the ice, and the door worked fine. He didn't charge me anything for the service call. I would definitely use this company again. I appreciated it that they were sensitive to my need to schedule the service call immediately. (Another company I called couldn't do it for 3 days, which would have left one of us stranded without a car.) George was punctual, courteous, professional, and above all, very generous in solving my problem without accepting payment. A truly delightful experience!

Originally purchased garage door opener, but technician showed me whay my purchase woudn't work. He had to heda back to the shop to retrieve an opener that would while I returned my "big box" store purchase. It took ome effort for him to install the new opener, and the bottom of the garage door needed a little TLC in th eremoval of the old worn out seal and installation of the new one, but he handled things like a pro. A neighbor inquired as to who had done the work on my door and I referred him to Robert's. He was even more impressed after the work was completed on his door.

They were very professional, punctual, and courteous.

We ordered a custom designed garage door, which was provided and installed at a non-premium price. My door is the envy of the entire neighborhood. We get random people stop by and compliment us on how it is the most beautiful door they have ever seen!

Our garage door was malfunctioning; it wouldn't go down. I call them and the owner said the problem might be that snow was blocking the sensor. He talked me through the steps of what to look for on the sensor. It turned our that it needed to be realigned. They came out and took care of it and oiled and lubricated the door track as well. I've used them a few times and they've always been very nice and very professional.

The garage door service was very good. However, we tried to buy a garage door from them. We scheduled it with them four times and every time they no-showed. I took off work twice and my wife took off work twice. Each time they didn't show up and didn't even call. Each time we called to ask what happened and they came up with an excuse. Had they at least called in advance they could have saved us a lot of hassle.

Morris did a fantastic job installing garage door opener and rollers. Our old chain drive opener was noisy and not functioning properly. Robert was informative and offered fair and competitive price to install garage door opener and Morris will reach out to schedule time . Morris called next day and came out same day to install opener I had bought from Lowes. Morris inspected and adjusted our old opener and suggested opener is still in good shape and does not need to be replaced. However I insisted on replacing our old opener as it was noisy and waking up my daughter who is a light sleeper. He looked at opener I had bought from Lowes and suggested I go with LiftMaster. There was no up-selling. For the price of store bought unit and installation, I got better quality LiftMaster unit and a 5 year warranty. We agreed on LiftMaster unit, since Morris didn't have unit on his truck, we agreed on installation time of day after Thanksgiving Day. Morris was on time and did exceptional job with install. After installation I was registering my opener on LiftMaster.com and noticed that LiftMaster was offering free smartphone controlled light switch via mail in rebate to homeowner who install certain model. My opener qualified but my receipt did not indicate correct model number. I reached out to Rober via text message and next day he emailed me receipt with correct model number. I would highly recommend Robert's Garage Door Professionals. They are prompt, courteous, responsive and do high quality job at competitive price.

My garage door won't open. I called Robert's Garage Door for a repair. Morris came out first thing in the morning to install a new spring. Morris was very professional and friendly. I would definitely use them again.

The provider never showed up nor called.

Morris from Robert's came out to review the work needed - installing a brand new and oddly sized garage door into a newly rehabbed garage. He came out within a quick time frame, sent a quote to me the same day, and answered the many questions I had about options, costs and motors. He was very helpful as I came to a decision on what I wanted, and was able to expedite my order so we could have a place to park before the first winter snow arrived. He said when the door would be ready and when it could be installed, and was exactly on time. Morris did the whole job on his own, and the work turned out great. They gave a warranty for their work, and offered to check in over the weeks after the installation in order to make sure all was going well. Very happy with the work done, and would recommend them to anyone.

My garage door would only open 3 feet and then became hung up on one side. I called Roberts and they sent out a team right away. In only 30 minutes, they were there and diagnosed the problem. The door apparatus was so old that some of the rollers had broken and would not permit the door to fully open. They replaced all ten of the rollers at my direction, (if one had broken, t he rest were sure to follow I thought); however, they were willing to just fix the ones that were broken if I wanted. I appreciated them offering me a choice. The crew was efficient, explained what they were doing, and were pleasant to deal with. We discussed what future problems I might have but there was no sales pressure to make any improvements now. Again, they were forthcoming about what options I had when I was ready to make any changes. I would certainly hire this firm again. I have had experience with other Chicagoland garage door companies . Roberts is, by far, the best.

Morris was great. He was very responsive, on time, and courteous. The price was equal to one other bid, and lower than another, but they were the only ones who did not want to make the door smaller in order to use a standard size, which I really appreciated because its a pretty small opening as it is. There was a delay because of their supplier and Morris communicated that quickly and throughout, and he got the door in as soon as it arrived.

It went very well. He used a ladder to access the engine and open the plate so he could program the remotes. Andy was nice, friendly and did the job.
