Description of Work: Routing and clearing of the main waste pipe for a four flat building. $250 to show up, then that amount is applied towards the job whatever that job may be. Qualified plumber, he knew how to trouble shoot the issue. Hopefully the issue has been resolved. Was hoping to set up the first appointment for the day at 8 a.m. but that did not happen. I was hoping for a $250 show fee that a set time, 1st in the day appointment would happen but I was mistaken. I guess that all service providers work with a window.

 + -1 moreIt went well, though did require two visits as the original plumber who came did not realize the problem could be fixed without replacing the entire faucet. Still a positive experience and everyone who came out was punctual, friendly and professional.
Description of Work: They fixed our condo building's outside faucet which had been leaking significantly and were able to complete the job in a short amount of time.

I called Rob West Plumbing after speaking with a neighbor who had the same type of work completed by Rob West. When I called Rob West Plumbing, I was able to speak with Rob right away, and the next day he came to the house to talk about what system might work best for my situation. Houses and their plumbing are not a "one size fits all" project, so it was nice to see that Rob himself came to make the assessment on scope and price of the project. After talking about options, we settled on a system and a price, and the work started the next day. Upon completion, the project came in at the agreed upon price. Rob's crew was polite, professional, and completed the work on time. Rob's crew knows their business and worked well as a team.One thing I liked about this company was that I had a constant line of communication with Rob, the owner of the business. This made the whole experience run very smoothly and efficiently.

Description of Work: I spoke to Rob about a backed up garbage disposal that needed to be cleared. he asked that I email him all the information and he would have someone out the next day (which was the timeframe I asked for). While John was a bit late for the appointment, they called several times to update me on the timeframe. I had said I was flexible on time, so that was not an issue for me. John was quck and efficient with the repair and even replaced a rotting part for me. They laid a drop cloth for their work and cleaned up after themselves before they left, leaving the space just how they found it. They are not the cheapest plumbers out there, but they are extremely pleasant to work with and were super responsive as well.

I am confident that if there were any issues that came up, Rob's team would have easily found a solution. I am very happy with the job and am looking forward to not worrying about sewer back-up when we have our annual 100-year rains. Of the four contractors bidding on the job, Rob gave me the best price and listened to all of my ideas, questions and concerns. If you are thinking about installing flood controls or are having any plumbing issues, I highly recommend Rob West Plumbing.
Description of Work: The work performed involved the installation of an overhead sewer system and additional work including: Excavation of a portion of the basement floor to remove old floor drain, excavation to create a new channel to reroute the new floor drain, excavation of a channel to install a secondary floor drain, excavation of a pit for new ejector pump and basin, removal of all dirt and debris, removal of old concrete double well set tub, plugging of old connections from old floor drain and set tub/kitchen drain to old outdoor catch basin, installation of ejector pump/basin/high water alarm, installation of a new dedicated circuit/wiring/outlet for ejector pump, installation of new laundry tub, installation of 4 sets of shut off valves on existing plumbing, rerouting and connection of water lines to new sink, installation of a full size clean-out in main sewer stack, rerouting of kitchen sink drainage piping and installation of new vent pipe for kitchen sink, installation of all piping for drainage from new laundry sink and new floor drain to ejector pit, installation of piping for drainage of kitchen sink to overhead sewer piping, connection of overhead sewer piping to main stack, plugging of main sewer connection outlet from old outdoor catch basin to village sewer, filling of catch basin with gravel and capping off with concrete, re-concreting the portion of the basement floor that was excavated, and finally cleaning up after the job was complete.

Description of Work: On Jan first, our utility sink in laundry room, could not be turned off. The handles were not working and one broke off. Water could not be turned off., finally we used turn off valve. I went into Angie's list . Got his name and called on the New Years' Day holiday. He answered the phone. Said it was not a problem. We emailed photo of problem. He arrived the next morning at 9:00 and did the repairs, with new faucet handles etc. Excellent work ethic and job well done!

 + -1 moreI needed to get a garbage disposal installed. Rob came over on a Sunday (Had to pay more for this), and was able to remove my old grease trap and re-do the piping. I also bought the disposal through him, which was actually cheaper than if I got it myself. I already had a light switched going to a box so he had to call in his electricians (who were also punctual and quick) to hook it all up. Since this was some time ago I can't remember the exact price, but it was lil more than what I wanted to spend (some of that was due to me needing to have this work done on sunday, but then the electrician still had to come on Monday unfortunately). The quality of work was top notch and they did everything they said they would do. I would recommend Rob and would use him again.
