Description of Work: Repiped the cold and hot in our two story house, replaced several faucets and valves, and installed new kit in one toilet. Sales consultant went through the house and noted everything that they would do, and checked with us as to what other items needed work as long as they were there. Everything that was promised, was done. | |It went very well. They arrived on time and clearly knew what they were doing. At least one of the crew was a licensed plumber, and all were qualified to do their jobs. Clean up was good. The patch crew also was professional and did an excellent job. Water flow to the upstairs did improve.

Description of Work: They were hired to repipe our house. | |The sales rep was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained exactly what to expect and what was going to happen during the process. | |the work crew was very efficient. They were done repiping in just 1 day. The next day a couple of guys came out and patched up everything. the experience went about as well as could be expected. Very little disruption to our life, clean up was well done. The work was very satisfactory. | |We thought the price was a little high for the amount of pipe, but we decided to use them anyway. The end result was very good.

Description of Work: I made an appointment with Repipe Specialist and was given a 2 hour window. About 30 minutes after the window ended I called the office (the only number I had) The Repipe rep that was on his way called back and stated that there was bad traffic and he wouldn't be there for at least 90 more minutes. When I told him that wasn't acceptable that he was going to be 2 hours late with no phone call he replied "no big deal, just reschedule." Well, it was a big deal to me since I took the afternoon to meet with him.

Description of Work: I wanted to repipe a bathroom and the woman who answered the phone would not even let me talk to anyone because "they only repipe the whole house". Even though my situation would have been a big project I never got to speak to anyone capable of understanding the scope of the job.

+ -1 moreI chose them because I could use a 12-month payment plan to pay off the cost. They also offered discounts and offered free patching of the walls. They did the work very quickly. It was a 2-day job. The only negative was that there was only one guy who did the re-patching instead of 10 guys who came for the re-piping. Their price was reasonable. The guy who did the patching didn't show up on time.
Description of Work: Repipe Specialists of Illinois did the re-piping last year.

+ -1 moreThey arrived on time wiith large crew. Opened walls and removed old pipe, installed new pipe and had the water turned back on by 3:30 pm. The patching of the walls took another three days and was done very well. The sales person had agreed to replacing the bath tub drain pipe, but the installing plumber just rodded out the existing pipe and reduced the price slightly. The work overall was excellent. When it was all done we discovered that the washing machine drain hose had been dislodged when the machine was moved. This caused a minor flood. Also the power cord for the sump pump had been knocked loose and the pump was not functioning for about a week before we noticed. This only resulted in the pump running for a very long time to catch up to the drainage in the tile system.

+ 1 moreWish i had hired them instead of the person i hired (and just fired) would have been a better job in less time for less money in the long run - don't use anyone not on Angies List for sure! Scott knows his stuff and if i had listened to my instincts and hired him everything would be done and i wouldn't be calling others to fix this issue

Description of Work: Repipe did a very good job as far as setting me up with a plumber in my town. They act more as a middle man for you. They do a good job as far as customer service and finding a plumber that will do a good job. If you have the time to do research and find a plumber, you will save some money. If you don't have the time, than call repipe, but there is a premium for this service.

+ -1 more1. The repipe estimator, Mitch Babiarz was very helpful and thorough in estimating the work. He was very prompt in responding to my e-mail on scheduling the job. 2. The plumbing sub-contractor, All Affordable Plumbing Inc, completed all work to my satisfaction. This included an unexpected repair to a sink drain which saved me the cost of replacing the sink, the patching of walls and the addition of an access panel as well as the clean-up and removal of all replaced material.
Description of Work: Replaced all iron hot and cold water pipe in home with copper pipe along with laundry tub, bathroom sink and bathtub fixtures.
