I needed a new furnace, and that's what I got. The only thing is I kinda wish I didn't allow my ladder to be used. It's an extension ladder, and now it seems to be slightly bent and will not completely close. But furnace works great at least!

The service was great. They actually returned my call the same day. We setup an appointment. The guy who came out was Mike Garcia, he was very courteous, knowledgeable and had great customer service. He did not try to overcharge me for unnecessary repair. I would greatly recommend him. I would definitely use him again.

I got 3 estimates for replacing my old air conditioner with a new one. Reeder explained that Carrier owns several different brands but that all of the brands under the Carrier umbrella are basically the same quality. Some of the lesser known Carrier brands are cheaper, and I went with one of the lesser known brands. New AC was installed in late April. We are now in the midst of a heat wave and the new AC (Bryant) is working great!

I received a response that they wanted to charge $25 for every 15 minutes they were onsite in addition to the one-time charge of $90. I told them I would get another company since I’ve never heard of this type of charge. Another company came out and the issue was due to a dirty furnace which means they did not clean this when the did the maintenance in October. I have maintenance done every year and change filters monthly so I’ve asked them to credit me for the maintenance in this unit and they are coming back to check and redo the work on the other 2 units.

Everything was great. Scheduled super fast, professional, on time service. Great experience, would recommend highly to all.

Hire this company! They were very responsive to my call. I was arranging the service for a home I own in Chicago occupied by my two eldest brothers. The company did an excellent job and the fee was reasonable. I was especially glad to be able to arrange this via telephone since I live approximately 325 miles away.

I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and attention to detail that every member of the Reeder organization exhibited while working on our home. From the technician who was meticulous in his documenting the case and work area, who answered all of my questions. To the back-office staff who always answered the phone and worked with me when I needed to make some changes to the work. To the installation crew who were polite, clean, and went above & beyond by ensuring that all of the required piping, cabling, and sealant were installed in a clean and safe way to ensure we could make the most out of our mechanical/laundry room. And finally to the David who offered to come out on a Sunday to fix an issue with the water pressure in our kitchen sink after the water heater had been installed (i believe some debris was stuck in the aerator after the pipes had been flushed). While they cost just slightly more than several other companies I contacted about the job, it was more than worth it. I would absolutely use them again, if the need arises.

It was a dirty flame sensor (which we forgot to have cleaned this winter). He also checked the airflow, which was too low (which could burn out the motor), and solved that problem by using a different filter. Knowledgeable, thoughtful, helpful, informative, professional and courteous service. Just fantastic.

When I bought a very old house with an 18 year old furnace and AC, I knew it would need immediate replacement. Reeder helped me pick the best options for my home, by dual-zoning my system and putting in 2 smaller ACs and 2 smaller furnaces. Reeder fit a small furnace in a small attic mechanical closet that other companies said was impossible, and they also added additional vents in order to address persistently cold rooms. Reeder moved thermostats to make sure they were getting a more accurate read on the room temperatures, and in anticipation of a 3rd floor renovation, they installed a gas line and dryer vent at a much more reasonable price than my general contractor was able to do. 10 months later, I can safely say that Reeder has made a 100+ year old drafty home into a comfortable space, that is warm when it is cold out and cool when it's hot out. Their technicians were always on time, answered my many questions, got along with my big crazy dog, and did a great job. The moment I raised concerns, they were addressed, and they made sure to work out any small hiccup that came along. I was so satisfied, that I hired Reeder later in the year to install a tankless hot water heater, which I am also very happy with. I recommend them with enthusiasm.

They didn't show up. I was called and told the technician would arrive in 30 minutes. When I followed up 1 hour later I was transferred to the answering service. TERRIBLE !!!!👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

Turned out it only needed a replacement part. The unit is up and running as it should. Previous contractor had left the rooftop unit in pieces. Reeder was able to same me a lot of excess cost! Definitely will call them first the next time I have a problem.

The tech coordinated with tenant to set up a time to do the work. The project was completed as outlined. Very pleased with the high level of service I received.

The service was from my home appliance warranty but I did have to pay for the freon. The part was delivered late on Friday but they performed the service Saturday morning even though they are normally do not service residential customers on weekends.

The hvac crew never showed up at the time scheduled. I called and asked where they were, and was told the foreman made a scheduling mistake and did not have the job on the schedule. I told him I had taken the day off, and was really disappointed the work could not get done on that day. I asked him to call me back with another date and time where he would be able to do the work. I never received a call back, and ultimately had to contact another HVAC company to do the work. Mistakes happen. I like the company and usually they are really good. So I'm going to chalk this up as an exception and not the rule. However, I would have appreciated the professional courtesy to call me back to resolve the mistake that happened on their end. That's just bad customer service at the end of the day.

The technician was fast, friendly and knowledgable. He was finished in 45 minutes!

It cost me a little bit more than expected. The Big Deal was for a tune up and it ended up costing me $500. He was very good and very knowledgeable, but he said I had a gas leak which we never did before. They quality was good and he was punctual. I doubt I would use them again because of the price.

I have been woeking exclusevely with Reeder for the past 2 years. I am a property manager for 7 apartment buildings and 3 single family homes. Reeder has always been great to work with. Michelle is my main contact for scheduling emergency repairs as well as my clean and checks in the spring (for AC) and in the fall (for heat). She is always lovely to deal with on the phone, and very responsive in getting people out to me - or one of my tenants. David is their Sales & Installation manager. He has met me personally countless times to check on equipment and determine what to replace it with. These installations happen the same or next day. I have been a property manager for 23 years, and dealt with all kinds when it comes to HVAC - including many large companies that are big names in Chicago. NEVER have I received the curtesy or the professionalism that I receive when dealing with Reeder. The pricing is alway fair. The installs are done well - and CLEAN. My tenants are happy with the responsiveness, and so am I! I have worked with Bryan, Josh, 2 Tims and several others over the years. Everyone I have met was professional, communicated clearly what was being done, how much everything would be in writing, and I have never been charged more later. They welcome checks and every credit card I carry. A few weeks ago we installed 2 AC systems - both Lenox, and they are amazingly quiet. Tim B. did both installs over two days, and was incredibly clean and professional. Two days ago, while doing clean and checks at an apartment building, we walked into the furnace room and found that the hot water heater was leaking. The new one was installed that day. No inconvenience to my tenants! Yesterday afternoon we found that it was time to say goodbye to a 20 year old furnace in another apartment. A new Lenox is currently being installed. I could not be happier with the price or the service. Reeder is my go to for heating and cooling as well as hot water heater needs. I can't say enough about how happy I am with their work, and our relationship. 5 Stars!
