I had attempted to install a Nest thermostat and, in the process, mistakenly disconnected the Y wire from the circuit board. Needless to say, the temperature in my condo was warm on a very hot day. I called Reeder and Michelle got me set up with an appointment within the next hour and a half! Bryan came by, fixed my mistake and was out in 30 minutes. I would definitely call Reeder again for any heating or cooling repair.

Do yourself a favor never use this company. They get their money up front and come when they want too. Their service man came to the house said he needed a part and said We had to order it. He said as soon as it comes I will be right the same day to install it. When we called the office for the service man to come back out the woman called my wife a liar and said the service man never said that and would get someone when ever should. There is no denying how rude this woman was. My wife asked for a manager said told her I am the manager. When asked to speak to the owner she said he wasn't in but the owner later said he was there. Do yourself a favor pick a company who doesn't take your money and not do the job and worse yet pick a company who gives the customer a hard time in the phone. I let our Home Depot not to use this company.

Couldn't be more pleased with our experience. We've always used All Temp in the past but after several negative experiences with them recently we decided to give Reeder a chance. I'm so glad we did -- the folks from Reeder have gone above and beyond the call of duty! We recently purchased a big old house with multiple HVAC units that were in need of replacement. The Reeder techs were punctual, professional, and extremely courteous. They took the time to explain some of the idiosyncrasies of heating our 100+-year-old home and gave us a detailed estimate for the work. When we decided to hire them they completed the work quickly and efficiently and made sure we understood how our system worked and how to maintain it properly. We had an issue with one of the units during the recent "polar vortex" and the technician came to address the problem the very same day. The next day someone from the office called to check in and make sure the system was functioning properly. We're Reeder customers for life!

Reeder is the best. I had them out to install a new Rinnai Tankless Water Heater in November, 2016 ($3400) after the one we purchased from a big box home improvement store failed after 1 year. It was a nightmare trying to find an installer or repairman for a tankless until I found Reeder. They came out almost immediately after I called and that same day we had a new water heater. No problems with the Rinnai and it came with a 1 year on labor, 5 year on parts and 12 year guarantee on the heat exchanger. They also take care of registering your purchase with Rinnai. Very knowledgeable, honest and professional with a clean installation. Since then, we use them for our furnace and ac units plus they clean the tankless water heater each year. Last year's furnace check and tank cleaning ran around $125. I would not deal with anyone else.

Well, once they got there. Instead of between 10 and 2pm, it was after 5pm. Yes, this was beyond their control because the customers did not accurately represent what needed to be done.

It went really well! Our 25 year old compressor stopped working two days before the first really hot weekend of the summer (heat index of 105 was the prediction). The service man who came out to see if it could be saved (it was too far gone) quoted us $3,900 for the new compressor/coil and it would be week before it could be installed. I used Angie's list to send out a request for a quote. I got responses from some nice companies giving me quotes from $3,400-4,000 and one to two weeks to install system. Reeder came in with the lowest cost $3,200 and said he had an opening at 8:00am Saturday (the next day). My wife and I said do it. Reeder's guys where there at 7:55am and had the everything done by 12:30pm. System works great and is much quieter than the old one. Super polite and neat service guys, At this point, we could not be happier.

My AC was not blowing out any air. It was a 90 degree day and I was desperate for a fix! I called a few other companies, and they were not able to come until the end of the week. I called Reeder and a technician was sent within hours! Tim was the technician that came. He was very nice and professional. He quickly discovered that the motor on my HVAC unit was not working and he replaced the capacitor. While he said I would need a new motor down the road, this was a quick and much cheaper fix for the time being - which I really appreciated! Will definitely use Reeder again when I'm ready to have my motor replaced!

They were able to provide same-day emergency service when bigger companies couldn’t. The tech was professional, capable, worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself. He was also very patient with my son. After they got the heat back on, they provided an eatimate for a liner to prevent the problem from recurring.

My house had falling temperatures, with 65 degrees on the 1st floor and 60 degrees on the 2nd floor, with the thermostat set at 80 degrees. My 25-year-old boiler was failing, and temperatures outside were in the minus degrees, with continued low temperatures in the forecast. I called five heating companies to have someone come out and give me an estimate. Gene Floss gave me the quickest arrival time: 1 hour. He was here even before that. He assessed the situation, gave me an Angie's List discount, and said he would have the new boiler installed the next day. I signed the contract. David and his crew came the next day before 8:00 A.M., removed the old Sears boiler, and installed the new Peerless boiler before 12:30 P.M. They did a beautiful, professional job, and the whole house is wonderfully warm. I can't thank them enough!

They were really good. They were competent. They did the job properly and did it well. They were very competitively priced.

Reeder came out twice. The first time, they came 30 minutes after the 4 hour window of time I was given. The guy showed up, asked what the issue was and I explained that I had recently moved in, the AC unit was relatively old, and making a weird noise. He checked the pieces in the building for about 10 minutes and then said the outdoor AC unit was unaccessible so all he could do is add some refrigerant. This actually made things worse somehow. As soon as he left, the buzzing kept going, but there was no actual AC (previously the AC was working, just with a buzzing noise). And the coil still freezes and I can hear the water rush after it unfreezes - based on his explanation, the refrigerant should have at least fixed that. I asked for another appointment, and they had no problem coming back out. The second guy was better and willingly checked the outdoor AC unit for the cause of the buzzing. He immediately gathered that the AC unit needed to be replaced, but this is after the first guy insisted that adding 2 pounds of refrigerant would solve the issue. So, after $400 of inspection costs, I will be replacing my AC unit with another company. Decent response rate, but there are more willing and better priced HVAC companies in the city. If you have a hard to reach AC unit or are price sensitive, I would suggest looking for someone else

Gene came out for an estimate. He was friendly, thorough, and straight forward. He was very responsive and gave us a quote the next day. Scheduled his crew to come out within a week or so. The crew was punctual and their work was of high quality. As explained in the estimate, it took two days to install in total - three men were out for the first day, one man out to finish up for a half day on the following day. No BS, excellent communication, delivered on their word. Excellent work and will use them again.

I called based on lots of good reviews. I now suspect that lots of these reviews are fake. The technician arrived on time but seemed unsure of the problem. Tried to fix something in the heating unit and at the end asked me if the thermostat was on. I went upstairs and it was on. Then he told me that everything is fine. I paid him $116 for a 15 min worth of work and he left. The next day the heat was not working. The technician came back immediately and at this time told me that it was problem with the thermostat, and claimed that I refused to let him access to thermostat!!>? Complete lie!!! Then he told me that it will cost me $145 !!! for thermostat PLUS labor!! Ridiculous!!! Thermostats cost $25-50 in Home depot. I went to Home depot, bought exactly the same thermostat for $40 and my son installed it in 5 min. Never again I will call these people. Ridiculous!!

There were one or two. The work took one day. They were easy to work with. The area was very clean.

Spoke to Reeder over the phone in the morning and they promised to send someone over before end of day. Around Noon they called to let me know their technician was on the way. The technician arrived and inspected the unit, cleaned a few components, replaced the air filter and was able to get the heating unit working again. Since the unit was noisier than usual, he recommended we change the Draft Induction Motor. The technician called Reeder's office and they had a spare, so he cameback with a new motor + matching switch plug that also had to be replaced, and installed it the same day. Overall good service.

Worker was on time. Service was performed to expectations and he helped to answer some other questions and worries we had regarding the water heater and a/c. Overall I was very pleased and will be using again for a/c inspection in the summer.

Great! The technician could have easily told me he didn't have time to look at the water heater, but he did, he diagnosed the problem for free! A broken sensor still under warranty

They tried to rip me off and told me that the air conditioner needed replacing but it's a brand new air conditioner. They charged me $3000 to replace the fan that's inside the air conditioner because it was rusted. It wasn't rusted and it was just dust in the line. I would never use them again. They were dishonest. They should be honest and not try to rip people off. They responded alright. They were just trying to get me to pay a lot of money. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.
