RED'S HAULING SVC

Description of Work: Hauling away a few pieces of furniture and moving some things, which they did. My basic complaint was that they told me they charge by the hour. But then when there were a few extra things for them to take, they wanted to charge according to how much it would cost them to get rid of the items. Basically, I didn't like the last minute negotiations.

Description of Work: Red and his crew did a haul away and clean up of my mother's house of over 70 years (main floor, attic and basement) which was being sold. They did a terrific job which included dismantling and removing a old gas range and sawing an old, large deep freeze into pieces so that it could be removed from the basement (how it was brought in there in the first place, I am not really sure). The crew arrived on time, worked steadily and completed the work as promised. Their clean up was absolutely fantastic. I can't remember when the attic and basement looked that clean! Red was wonderful and very considerate! This was a particularly stressful time as the closing was in 2 days and my mother was also in hospice at the time. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: I hired Red to haul away the inevitable accumulation of trash from the basement of a building I was selling. It didn't seem like trash when I owned the building, but certainly would to a new owner.

Description of Work: Red's is not a garbage business, actually. He will clean out and haul unwanted materials if you are cleaning out for sale, just to get rid of stuff. His is also a cleanout service. I was the project manager where a hoarder had to clean out his place or lose the use of it. Red's hauled away A LOT of stuff, some of it had molded due to damp conditions. Red's is in the process of cleaning up the place and doing repairs so it can be rented out. The point is that Red is a professional in the field of hauling away stuff, cleaning up and even making a place inhabitable. He is very practical and efficient. However, he personalizes his service to the client. Other businesses do only one aspect of what Red's does, such as only clean up, or only repair, or only haul. Red's will pack your good things as well as bag the stuff that is no good. I cannot speak highly enough of Red's.
