This past Monday he sent me an email that the work was definitely going to be be performed on Thursday. When I called him on Thursday morning to confirm what time he would be at the property it was though he had amnesia ! He asked me to remind him what work was to be performed and at what address.Although there had been some light rain, he assured me that the job would be completed once it cleared up after mid-day. The weather did clear up, but he never contacted me again! No work was performed, and after several weeks of being given the runaround I will take my business elsewhere. If a job is too small in scope to be worth his while, or he is overbooked with other projects, honesty will serve him well to avoid negative reviews like mine in the future. He may be a good welder, as other testimonials have stated, but he needs to hire a scheduler with better customer service skills !

The gate in question had been driving crazy dragging on the ground, causing a scraping sound. Fortuitously, a Big Deal for wrought iron gate adjustment. I bought it and asked via email whether the job could or should be done in cold weather. Fortunately, it could. We made an appointment, arrived on time, and did the job promptly and professionally. They even oiled the handle!

Ray?s Welding & Repair did a fantastic job! The service I bought was only for gate alignment. Ray?s went above and beyond. New hinges were installed. A new passage set was installed. They even did some work on the gate post to improve the alignment. The work was great and they painted and cleaned up. I was surprised that there were no additional charges given the extra work. I highly recommend them!

Ray was very professional from the start, and he was very good about coming out quickly. His price was good and he knew what he was doing. I would recommend him and use him again if the need arose.

Found Ray on A's list and gave him a call. I then described what I wanted done, which was to install a mailbox into a wrought iron fence. He sent back a quote and we agreed on the price. All I can say is that it couldn't have gone any better. Ray was prompt and professional. He arrived with a fully tricked out truck with every imaginable tool one would need for working onsite. He installed the mailbox, used a grinder remove the burrs into a smooth finish, primed and painted the weld points. He was complete with the job in under an hour and the finished product looked as if it had been there forever. As an added bonus, he even fixed the lock on my fence. What a guy!

It went very well. Ray is a do it all kind of guy. As I mentioned, he came for a very small job and ended up with a project that our building had been discussing for some time. . He showed up on afternoon after contacting up here on the list. We had a door that came off the hinges outside by our garbage cans ~5 years ago. Finally, I decided to get it fixed. He showed up and took a look at it and said he could have it fixed in 15 minutes. How could I refuse? After he was done, I asked him to look at the stairs in the back of the building which go from the ground, up 4 floors, to the roof. He gave us a quote which was right in line with some of the others we had received. The difference was that we did not have to remind Ray to get us the quote. He was very timely with his work and his responses. Beyond that, he's a good guy. If you need work done, hire Ray!! You won't be disappointed.

I called Mr. Flores on November 10, 2015 and I sent him an e-mail requesting a quote and he got back with me within a day. There where a couple of missed appointments because of weather. Once the work was completed I was satisfied.

I found Ray on Angie's list. Every person on Angie's has been wonderful. Ray's reviews are superb. I called him,but he is very busy. Good for him because that's what happens when your reviews are so great. Ray really didn't have time for me on such short notice, but you know what, he made the time. That kind of care and concern just doesn't happen anymore. Ray has been in this business a long time. He knows just what to do. He listens. He cares. He is NOT an advance salesman coming out to bid a job. He is the job! He does everything himself. I don't know when Ray has a minute to breathe in his day because he really cares about people and doesn't want to disappoint anyone. In closing...this is a GOOD MAN..NOT JUST A GOOD CRAFTSMAN, but a good man. Good men are hard to find. Ray Flores.. If you read this....thank you. Sincerely. Thank Juan too. And hola to george. They were fantastic. I had spoken to Ray earlier in the day, his child was sick, but he promised that he would be there later that day. We agreed that he would call me when he was on his way as I had a couple of errands to run and needed to know what time I needed to return home to meet him. Ray called, I missed the call. When I pulled up in front of my house, who was there but Ray and his guys, fixing my fence! I was elated, I looked at my phone and he had called me a couple of times, however he still came out and began working on my gate. The gate looks great, he did more than I thought he would do. It looks better than the entire fence. He then answered my questions on how to sand the rest of the fence and paint it to stop the rust spots. This man and his crew were polite, informative and took great care and time with their work. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Ray was very courteous and professional to work with. The work was well done with some touch up missed but quickly addressed. The only part of this experience that could have been better is that one day of work was missed due to another project popping up. All in all, I would call them again though. GOOD WORK AT A FAIR PRICE!

Mr. Flores and his assistant did excellent work, on time and on budget. He returned as promised to patch the cement wall, as the weather prevented him from being able to do so at the time of his original visit. He then returned again as promised when a change in the weather must have caused our gate to stop closing properly once again. Excellent work from a trustworthy guy.

Initially (prior to rain and snow), on the surface, the work looked godd. Once winter hit, our stairs and landing became rustier than they were before Ray performed the work. Now our landing is very thin and rusted causing concern of its stability. The most disappointing part is Ray's lack of response when I reached out regarding the worsening condition of the stairs and landing. He said he would come out to look at the work and get back to me multiple times - he never followed through. My husband called him multiple times until his inbox was full and we have received no response. Overall quality and responsiveness is a complete failure. Due to the terrible quality, we now have to spend thousands of dollars to remedy his work. I would NOT recommend using his services. So much for the guarantee on his website....

Smooth. They were on time and on presented budget. The wood slats were stained and now the gate looks very attractive. I will call Ray again for other work for sure.

Ray returned my phone call promptly and was able to fit us into his schedule quickly! He is a true professional. You could tell there was no guess work being done. He was very methodical, thorough, and efficient! Our gate now closes properly and looks great. I was extremely impressed and hope to hire him to repaint our fence next

Ray was very prompt in responding to my original email. He asked all the right questions to ensure that he was fit to do the job. He was very open and available for me to drop off my curtain ties to be shortened. And he did the job in a short amount of time. He conducted himself in a very professional way and has a high level of integrity.

After reading the reviews of Ray's on Angie's List we had him come out and do a small gate repair for us at the beginning of March 2015. We were so pleased with the work, and happy to have found someone who knows how to handle iron, we called him back for a much larger job - rust removal, priming and painting of our three flight outdoor iron staircase with landings. Ray was able to schedule the job within a week of me contacting him (glad we had that brief stretch of nice weather in March). He was upfront and told me that once the rust was removed we might need some parts replaced, in the end we didn't. The rust was removed with a tool that resembled a small jackhammer (much strong and more effective than a wire brush, just a lot louder). They primed and painted with matte black rustoleum. The job was completed on 4/1/2015. It looks fantastic! We highly recommend Ray's.

Our front gate had become misaligned and was scraping against the fencing, making the door difficult to open and close. Called Ray and he came the same day to repair the gate. Was very efficient and affordable and he even painted the rusted areas. And he was super nice. Would definitely hire again.

I bought an Angie's List Deal Coupon on Jan.17th 2015, and a gate that hasn't latched properly in years was fixed and working perfectly by Jan 19th! They came by to assess the job and just fixed it on the spot. Not a big job, but seriously works like new now and is primed and painted. Very friendly and responsive. I'm having Ray give me quotes for two other jobs!

Ray and his guys were great. They worked quickly and efficiently - they even came out on a Sunday (after asking if it was ok). Ray is extremely polite, respectful, and communicative.
