Description of Work: removed all fencing, reposted the fence (including digging new holes for three-feet of concrete. Added frames to gates so that they would close correctly. Sanded, primed and painted fence.

Description of Work: Needed some work done ( 2 gates)...he was hard to contact and when he did return my calls he wanted me to followup with an email with my request. He did eventually come out without telling me to estimate the work and gave me a quote. I had some questions and after 3 calls to him and he never returned my calls I wrote him off. His estimate seemed very low but since I could not question him due to his lack of returning the calls I just figured he was either a poor contractor with very poor customer interface abilities or did not want to bother with my job! His loss! Found a much better contractor as a result! Thanks Ray!

Description of Work: The swinging door hinge on our metal gate fell off. It needed to be welded. Ray's Welding gave me an affordable quote. They did a great job for a great price!

Description of Work: Needed them to repair a front gate that was sticking. It had been repaired previously and was never done to my satisfaction. Ray's came out quickly, performed the work, and though it has been months now, the gate is still working the way I need it to without sticking or swinging closed when I want it to stay open.

Description of Work: Ray replaced 12+ rusted steel stairs. He was great. He proactively examined my decks provided estimate to repair.

Description of Work: I had a metal gate in front of my house that had 3 supports that had rotted out from the ground. Consequently the gate lock was out of alignment and would not lock. Ray came and cut away the rotted metal, welded new metal tubing to the remaining tubes and recemented them into the ground. He then was able to realign the gate so it locked. He spent a lot more time than he anticipated but he would not leave until it was done to his satisfaction. He was unable to reattach the doorbell box because it was 25 years old and the screws were stripped but he was able to give me the name of someone who could fix the box for me. Ray originally quoted me $550 for the job but it took him quite a bit longer than he thought it would. He did not charge me any more. I was so impressed that I gave him an extra $100 for his time, effort, and attention to detail. I would definitely use Ray again and recommend him to others.

Description of Work: I called Ray to set up an appointment to meet at the building to repair a lousy job done by someone else. He responded promptly, we made an appointment. About 15 minutes before the appointment my husband said you better call Ray to make sure he's on the way. When I called him, he said he had a broken appliance in his house, and the repairman was there. Asked if we could make it a bit later. We did, he showed up, but never responded again.

Description of Work: I called Ray, and he wanted me to text him my address so he could provide the estimate. i had to return the call to find out if he ever came out; he'd indicated that he had not but would be coming soon. he came, provide me with a price yet it didn't entail what actually would be performed, i had to inquire. to that Ray did provide details of what would be done. we haven't had the work done yet only due to personal conflicts.never performed the service but i do appreciate him getting back to me. Hopefully we can get the work performed in the near future.
