Description of Work: took off old roof, replaced roof deck in places that needed it, put down a water proof membrane, new drip edge and flashing, put extra membrane on edge and in valleys, took out 3 mushroom vents and broken exhaust fan, covered holes with plywood, replaced plumbing air vents, installed Timberline Ultra HD Lifetime shingles, a ridge vent exhaust, installed PowerVent intake ventilation, and all clean up. The crew were very courteous and answered any questions I had. The Project Manager came out to check on the crew and give me updates on progress. The Building Inspector came out twice during the project and the final inspection after job was completed and was very happy with the job. They are pricy but I believe I received my moneys worth. The roof was in such bad shape and there was no intake air coming in as someone had blown insulation into all of the bottom rafter intakes. Was almost 200 degrees in attic on day of pre installation inspection. As I said a little pricy, but they do fantastic work.

Description of Work: On time, fast and efficient. They bent over backwards to accommodate my time schedule. The entire job was done in one day, and all work was performed as per the contract. In a couple of places I was not happy with the flashing, they took it apart and re-did it to my satisfaction. Tarps were used to protect the siding and plantings all around the house. The clean-up was almost perfect ( a couple of days later I found only one nail in the grass ) all waste was removed and hauled away. The price was competitive considering the quality of the materials used and how they were applied.

Description of Work: We had Power Home Remodeling Group install new vinyl replacement windows in our entire house. That's 22 windows, 2 half moon accent windows and a sliding glass door. They sent a crew of eight, with two members doing the sliding glass door and the rest working on the windows. They said the crew would arrive between 8 and 10am, they were there at 8am sharp followed closely by the truck with the windows. All work was finished by 3:30pm including window cleaning and site cleanup. At 5:30pm the Quality Assurance manager showed up to do a site inspection and pronounce the job finished. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Set up an appointment for windows with door to door salesman. No one with company ever followed up and of course no one ever showed up at the appointment time.

Description of Work: Had Power come out because I wanted an estimate for replacing my Bow front window. Ended up being a 2+ hour sales pitch with an estimate for all the windows in my house. Seemed like good quality windows with an excellent warrantee but out of my price range. I don't like sitting thru sales pitches like that cause the guy seems to try to pressure you into buying his windows and than when I say no he gets a little upset. Ended up having another company just replace the glass panes that were bad for a lot cheaper. Power doesn't offer that option just window replacement.

Description of Work: we are very happy and pleased with this company. from start to finish they were professional. everything they said they did at a high level. we would recommend them to anyone. they installed all new windows in our house.

Description of Work: SALES SALES SALES. That's all this company seems to care about. We have moved 5 months ago and already had 3 salesmen knock on our door. If you ever read or hear the news about what companies to watch out for, it's the door-to-door. Especially because each of the salesmen kept mentioning that the area had storm damage. I never believed in storm chasers. They follow the money. Like an attorney seeing a car wreck. Even when the dog is barking like mad the salesmen still try to "convince" me to hear their speech as I was irritated with the dog barking while these sales guys wouldn't go away. I had to be rude and close the door on them. Ask yourself, would you rather look for a contractor and research them or have one tell you how good they are after a known storm came through in recent months. I am only writing this because this past weekend was a home show and one of their salesman was overly persistent in trying to stop us to hear him out. Hard to avoid when he was standing in the middle of the aisle where other contractors were. Just looked desperate.

Description of Work: They replaced all windows on front of house and a couple on the back that needed replacing. The windows are great and can already tell the difference in temperature in the house. As with other reviews I have seen, the hardest part of working with them is getting thru the sales pitch. It is THOROUGH. The guy spent 6 hours at our house. But getting thru that, the windows look great, the workers were quick, efficient, and clean. We already had an issue with a piece of internal decorative molding on our large picture window being slightly bent. It was a simple call and there is a new one on order and a service date set up for replacement.

Description of Work: This rating is purely driven by the selling style/tactics of this company. I had no work performed. They came door to door asking about our roof and offering a free estimate. Sounds great but I immediately felt as if this was going to be a high pressure "time share" type sales pitch. I had to confirm a date and time (which they ended up having to cancel) and confirm that my wife would also be present. Then they handed me their cell phone to confirm with someone that I agreed to do this - the person on the phone was quite robotic and asked when I wanted to schedule when I had clearly discussed this with the 2 guys that were at my door. Seems all very fishy to me so when THEY cancelled the next day, I was happy and did NOT reschedule them for my free estimate.

Description of Work: Roof tear-off and replacement. A little pricey but financing was available. Work was done in one day as promised - including clean up. They took care of all the details - permit, dumpster, ... Overall, a good experience.

Description of Work: We had 15 old windows and a patio door replaced. In addition we had the Solex added to our attic to help deflect the heat off the roof. Power was prompt, polite and professional. We felt that they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They were here early one day and finished the entire project by 5ish that same day. They left the work areas clean and made sure we were happy with the end result before leaving. Since then we've had some cold nights where I turned the heat on. It ran for a few minutes to bring temp.where I wanted it and rarely ran again. In the past, the heat would run for 5 min off for 5 then on again and so on. The new windows etc. has really made a huge difference, but time will tell with the utility bills. I have only one negative comment and that is the time they spend with you during their sales pitch/estimate meeting. Plan on hours. However, during that time, we did learn a lot, but I think that time could have been cut in half.. I would recommend them to my friends as well as use them again if needed. One more plus is the lifetime warranty that is transferrable to next owners.

Description of Work: We were going to get windows from them. The sales rep was nice but was in our house for 3 hours. Their products are over priced. We were canceled on several times. Then we decided to cancel and we HAVE to sign with a courier to whitness we are canceling. But we have been blown off by the courier for the past 2 days. Thats not how you do business. Call around other places and get quotes. AVOID! Also these people are storm chasers. If you had devastation in your area such as a tornado they will act like they care but they don't, all they want is money. Plus they came and walked up to us as we were leaving the house to add we have a no soliciting sign on our front door.

Description of Work: We had a picture window with two regular windows replaced with four regular double hung windows. The work was done efficiently and professionally - the inside and outside of the house were well cared for and cleaned up thoroughly when the work was finished. The downside to this company is the sales pitch. We were with the salesman for almost 3 hours - way too long for what we purchased. It was almost longer than it took for them to do the work itself.

Description of Work: We had two large basement windows replaced. The windows are amazing because it is nearly impossible to break them - even with a hammer. This was all demonstrated to us - we tried hammering a nail thru the window. Impossible to do. Easy to clean, too.
