Superb, excellent craftsmanship. Adrian and the Plamada Flooring team installed new hardwood floors in my home and the results are absolutely gorgeous. Every part of the process, from providing the original estimate to installation was handled very efficiently and professionally. Plamada Flooring handled everything -- cutting doors, leveling where necessary, moving furniture, installing felt pads. Adrian was highly responsive to any and all questions. Will use them for all of my flooring needs. Very highly recommended.

The new laminate floor looked good after a winter installation but has buckled up with summer humidity. I have tried to contact Adrian Plamada, the owner, several times to see how the buckling can be corrected but he does not respond.

Plamada and his colleague were always on time and always finished up clean. They came back recently to fill in places that were missed originally due to no access for a smaller charge and were quick to respond to that. The floors look great and blend with the older floors nicely. Adrian is also flexible in giving you all price options regarding solutions, not just flatly based in material and labor.

Adrian did a great job! I had water damage in my condo and had to manage the repairs long distance for I live in another state. Adrian was punctual, responsive and did an excellent job. I was very pleased when I finally get to see my new floors. I really recommend him.

Firstly, Adrian is courteous and gets back to you very quickly via email. He was very patient and answered all my questions. When he came to our townhome, he brought several samples with him per our discussion. He explained everything thoroughly and emailed us a proposal. He came on time for 3 days and worked tirelessly for 7 hours or more on each day. Our floor looks great. Would definitely recommend!!!

I hired Plamada Flooring to install hardwood floors in a condo on the north side of Chicago. I initially contacted Adrian to try to find a match for my existing floors. Two sections of my old floor were damaged after other household repairs. There was no match. My old floors were engineered wood glued to concrete. It was decided that I needed to replace about 700 sq ft of floor with an entirely new type of floor. The new floor is a vinyl hardwood click plank. It looks great! Adrian was very knowledgeable & confident about what needed to be done. He always returned my calls and answered my questions. He arrived on time. The actual job lasted two days. The guys worked diligently. The old floors were torn up the first day and the new floors were installed on the second day. I appreciated that they took time to reattach the moldings, closet doors, and baseboard heat covers after the new floors were installed. I would definitely recommend Plamada Flooring.

The Plamada team (Adrian & Vitalie) were awesome to deal with throughout the entire project. Adrian was very responsive during the bidding process and made sure we received the right information to support our decision. During the project, Adrian & Vitalie were always punctual and accommodating. The new hardwood floor they installed on the 1st floor was a perfect match to the existing hardwood. They did such a beautiful job and were such a pleasure to work with that we rehired Plamada to install vinyl tiles onto our very large (1480 sq. ft) basement floor. Replace second-floor carpet with wood laminate. Replace first floor carpeted areas with hardwood to match existing. Sand and refinish entire first floor. Remove stairway carpet, paint & refinish stair treads. My first meeting with Adrian for the project walk-through, I could tell he was the right contractor for this project, my impression in a few words; Knowledgeable, energetic and professional. This was a big project, ~2,000 sq. ft. including all the rooms in a two-story home, minus (2) bathrooms and the laundry room. Plamada included the furniture removal and reinstall, fixed the ‘squeaky’ areas and completed in a little over 7-days… Second-floor; removed all the carpet and replaced with a 12mm Cherry high-gloss water resistant laminate with an approved underlayment, installed new floor HVAC registers stained to match, installed new painted 'toe molding' around perimeter baseboard. First-floor; removed carpet and installed new hardwood with required underlayment material, stitching in the new hardwood floor to match existing 2-1/4” strip oak, sanded twice and buffed entire first floor hardwood, stained and applied three coats of polyurethane with a buff between second and third coats, installed new painted 'toe molding' in the previously carpeted areas and re-installed painted 'toe molding' around existing hardwood, stained original HVAC registers to match and installed new to match in the previously carpeted areas. Stairway; removed carpet runner exposing cherry stained step-treads, filled staple holes in stair-tread / riser, painted riser and finished treads. I am very satisfied with Plamada Flooring’s performance, quality and price. I highly recommended Plamada Flooring to my friends and family and I would hire them again. We love how great our home looks with no carpeting after Plamada Flooring’s fine workmanship.
