Description of Work: My son had lost all his car keys. Toyota dealer told us to have the car towed to dealership and they would retool new keys at the dealer. I didn't want to do this. I found Pilsen Heights Locksmith as a referral from another Angie's list recommended locksmith. Pilsen Heights came al the way out to the North side from Pilsen in a few hours on that very same day. It took a few hours, but at the end, my son was able to get into his car and had new keys. The price was approximate, may not be correct, but I do knwo it was 50-60% lower than what the dealership wanted.

 + -1 moreLouie did a really professional job by making me a perfect replacement car key. I needed a car key with a chip in it (Ford Fiesta 2011), so it wasn't enough just to get a key that would open the car door. He coded it electronically so that it would not just open the door but also would turn on the engine. Saved me more than double the amount I'd have spent if I'd gone to a dealer. Just to be clear: I already had a replacement car key for the one I'd lost which included the remote electronic features (car and trunk/open and lock with a click); what I wanted was a second key that would simply open the door and turn on the ignition as a backup for the possibility that I might lose the main key again. Louie made me just that kind of key. During the week his shop is on Pershing Rd near Racine. Call first to make sure that he's not out doing an on-site key replacement job around the city.
Description of Work: Provided me with a backup car key for my Ford Fiesta 2011.
