I appreciate that they came out quickly made an estimate and stuck with the estimate with only minor changes along the way. They did a good job and the stairs look great. It took a little longer than expected due to the rain and the holidays but everything seems good now. I appreciate that they also acted as a general contractor to a degree in order to find and help arrange people they work with to fabricate the new railings for the stairs as well as a custom height door for a storage area.

Perez Concrete was great. Jose came to do a free estimate and was very knowledgeable. I received the estimate promptly after the visit, and from the time we decided to move ahead it was only a couple of weeks' wait. Jose said they would start early if they were able and they did do that, which is great. They demolished our old concrete floor in the garage and the apron to the alley, leaving the garage foundation alone. They then poured new 6" of concrete and constructed a much better apron. The work was quick and professional, and best of all, Jose was familiar with working in a city alleyway and all the challenges that can bring. Patricia was always super quick to respond to email questions and the responsiveness was top notch. I highly recommend them.

The crew was timely and flexible with the locations and weather. They worked quickly but methodically. The job was spotless and they put everything back the way they found it. There were days where there was some rain and communication break down but they stuck to the quote and the job was impeccable!

The demolition team arrived a day early to do demolition which took a bit longer than expected because of the thickness of the concrete. PCS team did a good job of cleaning up after each day. The work was well done and professional. We're happy with the result and definitely would recommend Perez Concrete Service to our friends and neighbors.

Jose Perez responded to assess the job; new sidewalk from the front city's sidewalk to the back alley, patio, porch bottom lending and garage apron. He explained well how the job would be done, presented himself to be knowledgeable and a master of his profession. The follow up bid was compatible to other bids received. The work was scheduled within a week post signing the contract and performed in days promptly. PCS's work crew is a courteous hardworking team. They cleaned up well after they've finished, even filling in the gap with soil between the new sidewalk and the existing lawn. The concrete work is excellent, we're highly satisfied and recommend PCS without any reservations. From the first call for an estimate and setting a mutually convenient date to the removal of the forms of the finished sidewalk was about 2 weeks. Mr. Perez came to complete the estimate, discussed enlarging the width, and was the only person of multiple estimaters to want to discuss adding a color to the concrete to avoid the stark white look in contrast to the house. He suggested I look at the website of Prairie Materials where he places his orders and we were able to choose a color that complimented our brick. Once I accepted his bid the entire job was completed in two days: Day one the old concrete was pulled up and taken away and wooden forms installed. Day two the concrete arrived and sidewalk completed. His crew arrived early, completed the work each day and left leaving minimal evidence that a major job was completed. The sidewalk was pitched perfectly for drainage of rain away from the house. Mr. Perez came two days later to remove the forms and settle the extra cost of the color and cleaning of the cement truck required to remove any trace of the color (that was $430 included in the total price). The sidewalk looks great and the color adds to the overall look and design of the house. I highly recommend Perez Concrete to anyone who is looking for a company to do expert concrete work. They were quick to respond to requests for an estimate, listened to customer needs and provided quality work in a timely fashion.

I have never seen anyone work so hard at their job. They were truly amazing. The job took three days and at first I didn't understand why it would take so long. But when you look at what they have to do, especially making sure they keep the integrity of the foundation of my garage, they did an awesome, fantastic job. I watched every step of the way as I am very into home projects. I just knew that concrete was way out of my expertise, and I just can't say enough of their work. I highly recommend them, and, in fact, two of my neighbors took their number to have their garage floors done. Thanks again Perez Concrete!!!

Very professional, responsive, and timely. Jose pays close attention to detail and was back and forth often checking on the work of his crew. Jose came across as very competent and knowledgable in the area of concrete and Patricia (office) was extremely responsive and pleasant. Nothing negative to say. We would definitely use them again.

Jose is very friendly and professional, he came out to do an estimate and we scheduled the work shortly thereafter. The schedule moved around a bit due to the weather but they started the job within a day of when we initially discussed. The crew was punctual and worked fast - the demo and pour was completed in one day. Jose also did some minor tuck pointing work on our front steps free of charge. Overall very happy with the outcome.

Jose was very professional. He arrived with his team on time and got the job done on time. It was easy to reach Jose anytime I had a question. Very friendly and cooperative. He provide some good advises to save me money.

The appraiser was very cordial and answered all our questions. He sent us the appraisal by email within a few hours. The price was very reasonable in comparison to other estimates. Addresses of previous similar jobs were readily given and we checked them out. The Date for starting the project was mutually arranged and accommodated our needs. The project took 4 days. The workers were very polite and cleaned up the work area quite thoroughly. The new cement area was blocked off with net material to discourage anyone from stepping on the wet cement. We were very impressed by the professionalism of these workers.

First project was the Sewer Catch Basin. Dugout around and noticed the complete basin structure was in worst shape. It was slanted one side, brick no longer attach to mortar, no effort on removing them, just stack on top of each other. Replaced the bricks with concrete blocks. Recommended to replace the inlet/outlet pipes for extra fee. Was fine with it reasonable price. The project move quite quickly, gravel around the new structure. Looks solid , great job. Second project was to remove old concrete patio. Was in bad shape split in half, cracked ,approximately" 20x30". They had an issue with the sidewalk, I had done around 3years ago by different company. The patio had to be sloped for drainage. One side would be picked up a couple of inches of the sidewalk. Wasn't crazy about that. They came up with 3 solutions. We choose to sloped the one end to meet the sidewalk, looks great. The end result looks awesome, very pleased. The great thing about " Perez Concrete Service" is that they would stop work, explain the issues find alternatives . Let's homeowner input, if pleased with the options. Jose Perez was very nice to deal with. He explained our options well and seemed to have a lot of knowledge about concrete and general construction. His price was very competitive vs. the other contractors that quoted us. The concrete has a very nice finish on it and all the residents in our building are happy with it. Thank you Perez!

The work went quick and final product looks great. When Jose arrived for the estimate, I explained what needed to be replaced and what needed to be permanently removed. The sidewalk that runs from our frontyard to the alley was deteriorating and needed to be removed and replaced. The backyard sidewalk was to be taken out and not replaced in favor of leaving a flowerbed in its place. Scheduling was at the mercy of the weather. When a window of opportunity appeared, Jose was able to get his crew out there promptly and begin work. His crew numbered around 4 guys. The job was completed entirely within two days. They cleaned up entirely once the work was complete. The finishing job was very nice and the breezeway pitched away from the house.

I contacted Perez Concrete Services on approximately 17 June 2014 to replace my cement. The very professional Ms Patricia Perez advised me on how and when it would be handled. Mr Jose Perez arrived on the stated date with all the required information to address any questions I would have. He also stated that he would be collaborating with the city building department for any required permits and building codes to follow. As indicated all demolishing of the existing concrete was removed in a timely manner and replaced with cement and or \wire mesh following all building codes. The job was kept as clean as possible, organized, attention to detail, and workmanship from beginning to end. I was having issues with the cement so I called Perez Concrete Services. I was informed by the lovely Patricia Perez that Mr Jose Perez would pass by the house to address the issue. He arrived 06 June 2015 and addressed the problem and any of my concerns to my complete satisfaction.

We had shaling concrete in the back yard. Someone came out and spent a fair amount of time looking at the problem and determining how much would need to be repaired. We then never got an estimate. After about 10 days, I called the company, and had a convoluted conversation with a person who I think is the guy's wife. First, she had trouble finding the order, and said they didn't come out at all. When I found the text message thread on a different phone, she agreed that they did come out, and told me to text her reminding her to send the estimate, which I did when I got off the phone. No response. A couple days later, I texted her again and asked if they wanted to bid. No response to the text and no bid. Whoever handles the calls does not speak good English, yet there was no way to talk with someone else. I don't know if they decided the work wasn't worth bidding on or couldn't be done well, or if the woman never passed on the message. Overall, it was a time-wasting and annoying experience.

Good at the start but now a year its al breaking up and the sidewalk has breaks and cracking too the welsh ready mix cement company said Perez ordered the wrong cement and is sending me the control quality findings.Perez is also putting blame on cement company. Edit 9/28/15: The company has come out to resolve many of the original issues.

Jose Perez came out on 3/24/15 to inspect our very broken sidewalk area. This sidewalk leads to our building's parking lot, and one car has been driving over it, causing it to crack / crumble. Jose immediately knew how to solve the problem, by creating a high curb next to the car, and angling the concrete down to zero where the car has to turn in. By doing that it also would create good drainage so that we did not have standing water on the sidewalk. Jose noticed a panel that was sinking, and we included that in the job. They sent me a proposal right away, and we approved it. The entire job was $2995 (that included a 5% Angie's List discount). It took 3 days, 4/27/15 - 4/29/15. They worked non-stop whenever they were here, and always left the work area clean. The second day, they had a late start, but that did not set our completion back at all. They finished right on schedule. (And Patricia stayed in touch with me from the office all through the project) Our new sidewalk looks great, and I think it will solve all the issues we had before. We would definitely work with Perez Concrete Service & Tuckpoint again. They will be on our building's preferred vendor List!

After researching a couple of other concrete companies I settled on Perez Concrete because they seemed like a smaller company with competitive pricing and good workmanship. Indeed, that is exactly what I got. Very happy with the work. I had the patio and back stairwell landing torn up and replaced (approx 280 sq ft). After a couple of minor scheduling delays due to weather, they actually did the job in two days. Jose came back on day three to remove the wood perimeter and clean up. Looks great. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Apart from having to write a replacement check to replace one that went astray in the mail, Jose Perez and Patricia, the Perez Concrete Service telephone receptionist and agent, the job went marvelously well. Patricia handled the telephone communications related to scheduling and job specifications; she e-mailed the contract documents. I met Jose Perez when the work was completed, reviewed the work and made the final payment. Jose and Patricia were professional throughout the period from my initial call, through Jose's visiting the site, sending me a written contract with specifications, discussion of the specifications, scheduling the start of the job (which took several days because of rain) and completing the job. A welcome feature were the photos that Jose took and sent me at the start and through each step of the job. The photos were very helpful, allowing me to see the job in process without having to travel to see each step. Excellent communications and excellent work throughout!

They cancelled our previous appointment and did not show up for rescheduled appointment. They tried to push it up but I was not available to answer their calls. When I did call back 47 minutes before the scheduled appointment, I got voicemail and no call back. I tried calling minutes before to confirm the appointment and no call back. This is unprofessional and inconsiderate for other peoples time, especially a potential client. I will not call them back.

It's a very nice job. They were prompt in getting back to us, in coming out and taking what we're looking at, what needed to be done. He was very good about his estimate and he got back to us immediately. The workers were good. The work is excellent. We've had a lot of people and they asked us who did it. The only thing he needs I think is to improve his communication just a little bit better because there were days that I thought he was coming and I stayed home all day and they weren't able to come or something was set to be changed and I wasn't made aware of this. Maybe just to work a little bit more on communication while the job is going on. Other than that, he was friendly and very professional. The work is beautiful. That took us a while for him to come back to complete that but he did to complete it. I would use this provider again in the future.

I was very happy with the work they did for us. The cost was reasonable, they were great to work with and responsive. When we started the project I contacted three vendors to provide quotes and they were by far the most responsive and easiest to deal with. And the price was very reasonable. The project took a bit of time - started mid-November and completed in December - but that was because of the weather. We started this and then were hit with very cold freezing temps and snow and rain. But Perez worked around it and the end result was great. We're very happy with the job.

Jose and his team were extremely professional. He arrived promptly for an estimate and was able to schedule the service quickly. His team even started early due to the unseasonably cold weather, and took great care to protect the concrete after it was poured to ensure it was not damaged. I particularly appreciated how responsive and proactive he was; we were kept up-to-date as the work progressed via email and phone.
