Peralta Painters

This was the best experience I've ever had hiring someone to do work at my home. I am super picky, and Peralta Painting did a perfect job, were totally on time, extremely nice and agreeable. They are the perfect example of who you want to do work at your house.

They did a great job. It looks great. They are proof that you should leave painting to the professionals. They do the job right, and take there time. They were very courteous and responsible. I left them alone several times to run errands with no worry.

The big deal worked out really well. I paid an additional amount because they were here longer. I will use them in the future.

These guys are great. We originally hired them to replace a door but the timing did not work out because it was a break in. So we saved the on line purchase and had them do taping and mud work on a room we had replaced drywall in. The worker was great, courteous and worked hard to make it look great. Definitely would use them again.

they were very professional.they came every day at the time they said they would,and worked all day every day untill the job was done.And they did a beautiful job,and with little mess,and that they cleaned up.I would recommend them to anyone.

They were about $800-$1000 higher than the other companies. All I really wanted was for them to paint.

Everything went well, as we had experienced when we contracted with them previously (to repair/stain outdoor deck). Gil came out for the estimate and his workmen were on time every day, cleaned up well at the end of the day, and moved furniture and other odd items as necessary to complete the painting of the necessary surfaces. Gil visited after the work was complete to ensure our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to hire Peralta Painting and Remodeling again!

The service was excellent. They were prompt in arriving for the job. I found Gil, to be very professional and very detail in his assessment of the job. I felt that the price quoted was fair. The two painters, ( Sergio and Daniel ) did an outstanding job of repairs and painting. They didn't leave the house all dusty, which was a huge bonus. I would use Peralta again and would certainly recommend them to others.

It turned out pretty good. They’re a good company. You have to talk on the cost upfront because there are some things after the fact that they don’t want to tell you for or was never discussed. The owner listens a lot. He’s very personable to work with. I felt that was pretty good. They had integrity to work. They actually communicated the things they were doing even though I was here in Texas. We talked back and forth with the things that I thought they should do with the house and it worked out well. It was a good work relationship.

Gil's team was very prompt and courteous. They were skilled, detail-oriented, and worked quickly. I would definitely use them again.

I thought that the work with the tv went slowly, however, I was extremely pleased that they finished all the projects that I projected to be completed in four hours. They did a beautiful job, and were very careful with everything. I was very happy with their work.

First, they are incredibly responsive. This is the second time that I have used them (first time was in my home), and I'm very comfortable recommending them. My renter was leaving earlier than expected, and I had to get my place painted quickly. Gil called me back same day and was able to work around my schedule to get the job done in less than a week. They did a great job - walls spackled, paint perfect. On every level, they were helpful and customer service oriented. They handled the paint pick up, and clean up was outstanding. Gil works with some great folks, and his customer focus is amazing.

Every year we host my parents for the Holiday Season and wanted to spruce up the whole upper floor with a look. We knew this might be accomplished by a good and creative paint job-and obviously a wonderful painter. Well, Gill is just that-quick and free estimate. The price worked perfectly and the house looks FANTASTIC! My sister-who is an HGTV and DIY junkie-is having Gil do her basement and exterior in the Spring. Peralta Painting is a great find!

Gil came out promptly and provided a clear estimate. He and his team were pleasant to deal with. They may not be the cheapest, but their pricing is fair and the quality of the work was excellent. Better yet, Gil was able to get the work scheduled quickly. We were expecting a newborn any day, and wanted the room painted before his arrival. Gil and his team made it happen! We were very pleased with the work from Peralta Painting and would definitely recommend them.

I used Gil and Peralta a few years ago to paint the Kitchen/Living Room Combo and hallway with all the trim and ceiling at my old condo, they were amazing then so they were my first call when I needed work done at my new place. I called Gil for an estimate and he came out the next day, he is very personable and easy to work with. The estimate was spot on for the amount of work we were having done and given the quality I know to expect i knew I was getting a good deal. They were able to get me scheduled within a week and Gil and his painters arrived right on time on Wednesday morning 10/20 with all of the paint required, as a side note I had asked Gil ahead of time if they could use a Low VOC paint as my wife is pregnant and I wasn't sure if the fumes would be an issue, he brought zero VOC paint to the job for no extra charge. He estimated about 2 days to do the work and they were able to complete everything by 3 pm on day two. They even patched a medium sized hole in the ceiling near a light fixture and painted the ceiling to match perfectly at no extra charge as well. Now when deciding if I am going to hire a painter or I always think I could do it myself, but after I see the crispness of the lines and the quality of the work that Peralta does I realize there is no way I could have done it and made it look that good. So its always worth it in my book, Gil and his crew are great to work with and I would no question hire them again if I have more painting to do.

On 10/23/13, I purchased a $319.00 Handyman for the day from Peralta Painting and remodeling. I received a call later that day in which I was informed that what I wanted done would cost more than the $319.00. An appointment was scheduled for 10/28/13. Gil Peralta arrived on time and told me that it would take 2-3 days to get an estimate. As, I did not hear from him, I called him on the third day and was told that he had begun to work on it and would get back to me either over the weekend or by Monday or Tuesday. I received a call on Tuesday and was told that the labor for drying walling, painting and floor tile of my laundry room was $3600 and supplies would be $500-$700. I informed Mr. Peralta that I could not afford that price and inquired as to how I can get my $319.00. He informed me to go on the website. Later that evening, I called Mr. Peralta back and informed him that according to the deal, any additional work would be at $49.00 an hour. I also stated that I did not understand why such a small space required that many hours. He stated that it was a lot of work and I reiterated my disbelief. At this time, he indicated that he would call me back the next day to see if we could work something out. I agreed and when we talked he informed me that he could give me a deal if I waited until after the holidays. I asked for another quote to make that decision, he indicated that he would call me by Friday. As I had not received a call, I call Mr. Peralta and he informed me that he had not completed the quote and asked if he could get back to me early next week. I just joined Angie's List and was very excited by the initial quick response of Mr. Peralta, but have become disenchanted with the follow up. At his point, how can I get my $319.00 refunded?

They did a fantastic job. We contacted them on Friday and they started right away the following Monday. They were very punctual and professional. I would recommend them for any painting job. They offer very competitive pricing and the quality is great. We picked out all of the colors that we wanted for each room and all the rooms look great.

The gentleman was polite and answered my questions, so I was looking forward to meeting him to get an estimate. We set up a day to meet, and he told me he would call me the day of to let me know what time he was coming over. He never called.

Wow, truly amazing! Let me tell you, I've worked with quite a few contractors over the years, and I'm very particular about the quality of work I expect. I've found Peralta to be among the best. I first had them paint our condo. Wow, did they ever do a great job. They patched up all the nail holes, nicks, fairly large holes where screws and anchors were removed, even a 2-inch hole in the wall that wasn't even part of the stuff to be painted. They really went out of their way to do a top-notch job. The patching job was perfect, and the painting was excellent. A nice crisp line where the wall meets the ceiling--ah, perfect! I was very happy with the job they did, and they cleaned up nicely. I later had them re-stain a 6-month old deck I had another contractor originally build and stain. The original stain started peeling almost immediately, and the original contractor would not restain the deck without additional payment. He'll be getting a negative review from me. (Tip: Don't use Behr stain on cedar. For some reason it doesn't stick.) Anyway, I hired Gil Peralta's crew and they did a great job power washing and later restaining the deck with quality stain I bought. Again, excellent job. And by this time, I trusted the team; I gave them a check for the work even before they completed it, and they did the work anyway (smile). I would highly recommend Peralta, and I bet I will contract with them again for future projects.

Hi, After I talked to them, they did mention that electrical was not their specialty and I need someone who specializes in electric.

Peralta did a terrific job. We had them re-stain the rails and steps of our deck, and they even replaced a couple of rotted railings. Gil was quick and detailed in his estimates/quote and followed through with any specific questions that I had . His team was really terrific. Very conscientious. Detailed. Respected our property. And the few minor issues that we encountered were corrected very quickly.

It went great. Francisco arrived on time and worked hard all day. Not only was all of the work done beautifully, when I called to schedule it and wanted it done on a short timeframe, the company worked with me to get the work done two days later. I cannot recommend Peralta Painters highly enough and would use them again without hesitation.
