Castillo Painting did an outstanding job! I was looking for a company to come in rather quickly to complete an interior painting project with very short notice. I have a hectic schedule and determined that I had a window of opportunity. I called Castillo Painting (as well as two others recommended on Angie's List) on a Saturday. I didn't necessarily expect to reach anyone, but Gil answered the phone with Castillo and came out the same day and gave me an estimate. I hired him on the spot. I felt his interest in taking on my project with a respectable bid price and willingness to begin the project the following Friday was very appealing. (I left messages for the other 2 reputable companies, but heard back on Monday). They began the work the following Friday as promised and wrapped up the following Thursday. They even worked on Sunday!! Throughout the week, I added on a few miscellaneous projects and they incorporated them into their work (ie; drywall/soffit and interior garage). They even helped me move a couple of pieces of heavy furniture which was so appreciated. In the end, they did an amazing job! Gil and his team work very hard and only want you to be satisfied with the work that they do. I was so satisfied, that I asked them to give me a bid on a project for our entire complex for exterior painting. I will absolutely use them again for any painting or other work that they do.

Gil and his team did a fantastic job on our Condominium. The carpentry work involved building a soffit to enclose the condominium gas meters and installing doors for access. The work was top notch and looks fantastic. We had unfinished molding in the main floor. Gil's team finished the molding work adding quarter round molding to give the lobby area a finished look. The detailed moulding work was exceptional! The common area walls had a good amount of damage. All of the drywall was repaired and was prepped for painting. The ceilings, the walls, the trim and the doors were all painted on each of the three floors. The painting was expertly done. It is important to say that Gill's team arrived early and at the promised time every day, they worked long hours, and were meticulous with the work. At the end of every day the work areas were cleaned and vacuumed and all of their equipment was stored away so as to not disturb any of the residents. All of the work was done in the promised time frame. Everyone here at our Condo Building is in awe of the quality of work that Gil and his team did. The place looks fantastic! I highly recommend Gil of Castillo Painting and Remodeling!

Arrived on time, did a very nice paint job, moved the furniture away from the walls so that paint wouldn't get on it. Looks very professional and I am happy with the service.

They started on Monday and were done by Thursday. They did an excellent job! Very professional, on time and reliable.

We used Castillo Painting to paint and patch the walls in our home. They were very professional, responsive to any request and cleaned up thoroughly after each day's work. While not the cheapest quote we got, they were able to meet our schedule and did a great job.

Castillo Painting did an absolutely wonderful job. Their estimate was by far the lowest out of several other estimates, and they were able to meet my fairly quick deadline. They were completely professional: punctual, polite, and the clean up was excellent. But most importantly, the painting was beautiful: our walls and trim had been painted many times over the years and the dings and bumps were everywhere -- we could not afford to have all this filled or smoothed perfectly, so we asked the painters to do the best they could with our walls and bumpy trim -- and they did beautifully. The cut lines are amazing given what they had to work with.

It went very well. They did an exceptional job. The paint job was lovely- they cleaned and sanded our walls, filled in holes, and everything looks great. The only caveat I have is that I didn't understand that when I asked for the baseboards to be painted that that didn't include the trim on the doors and windows (i've never had my place painted before). That being said, the rate was very reasonable, and Gil has offered to come back and do all the trim for $200. The workers were flexible and courteous, they kept the place clean, and they took care of moving the furniture (I did remove all glassware from a china cabinet). I will definitely use them again in the future.

Gil is a real professional- the whole job went flawlessly. His crew were focused and dedicated, and worked long hours into the night and on Thanksgiving to get our house ready to move into. The scope of the work changed significantly as we began to add tasks to his to-do list, and he took everything in stride. My mother in law is an interior designer and mentioned what a great job his team did, and I completely agree. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. His crew were very nice, quiet, and polite.

We recently moved and had a ten day overlap to paint at the new house, move and then patch up at the old place. We originally requested/estimated three rooms to be painted at the new place and when we got in it became apparent that we needed to also repaint the family room/play room and all three outside decks (one very large). With a short time frame until the move, Gil gladly stepped up to get the work completed, even working on a Sunday. At our old place, some dry wall patching and painting was required in a few rooms. All of the work was completed in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable. Gil and his crew were very professional and courteous and the results were great. I would highly recommend Castillo Painting.

Gil Castillo promptly provided me with an estimate and within a week the work was scheduled and completed. All e-mails and phone calls were returned propmtly and all questions were answered to my satisfaction. The painter was neat and professional and all the work went smoothly and quickly. I got 3 estimates and his price was in the range of the others. Because this was basically a small job, I was afraid I wouldn't get many responses to my request for an estimate, but this wasn't the case with Castillo painting. The painter was very careful and conscientious perfroming his work and neatly cleaned up the areas afterward. No problems were encountered during the entire project.

Excellent job which exceeded my expectations! We recently moved into a house that had been neglected for several years. It needed a lot of work..... a serious facelift! When purchasing the house, we were able to see past the dated wallpaper, chipped paint and overall neglect and saw a well-built house with great character, original fixtures, and features not found in houses built today. Eager to get started with all the work that needed to be done, I began removing wallpaper! After one horrible day of trying to remove the wallpaper myself, I was a wreck. I realized I couldn't do it on my own. Reluctantly, I asked a friend for a referral for some help. Knowing I am a perfectionist and a bargin hunter she recommended Castillo Painters. She reassured me and said, "What can you lose? It's a free estimate." Gil Castillo came to give the estimate the same day I called. He was very professional. He listened, answered my questions and explained the steps they would take to get the job done. His estimate was the best out of three estimates I got. And, going by my friend's experience with them, I hired them for the trim work and doors only. After seeing the beautiful quality of work the team performed, I ended up hiring them for the whole house. It couldn't have been a better experience. All of the guys were extremely polite, helpful, kind, and professional. On more than one occasion they even stopped what they were doing to help me carry some boxes! After they left I just walked around the house admiring the work. We are so thankful for the "facelift" they performed on our house! They brought our house alive again and allowed all of it's unique details and special characteristics shine! We couldn't be happier!

They did a very good job overall. The price was pretty average. The quality of work was very good. Their coat did not include the primer and I found it to be odd. They did it when I asked them to include the primer.

We got three different estimates from contractors on Angies List and while all of them seemed professional, Castillo was the low bidder by a significant margin so we went with them. Gill and his crew were extremely professional and courteous from the moment the job started through the final cleanup. Having a kitchen painted when you have small children can be a challenge and the Castillo crew was very sensitive about our need to use the refrigerator. In addition Castillo was willing to make small changes as we went along and addressed small problems as they came up (as they always do during jobs like these) Finally our house looks great after the job was done. The cleanup was thorough and the new colors and clean surfaces really look good.

From the day one I was very impressed with the professionalism of Castillo Painting. They were very neat and cleaned up after every day. When the job was complete there were no surprise extra costs. I recommend them every chance I get!

It could not have gone any smoother. Gil communicated with me frequently and followed through on everything he said. The work looks amazing! I can't believe how great they made my utility room look. We joked about how punctual he was. When the clock struck 8:00, Gil was ringing the front bell. His team was professional and courteous. The work went much faster than I had thought and they did all of this with my two year old in the house. I would use them again in a hearbeat.

From start to finish working with Castillo was a great experience. Gil (owner) responded immediately to my call and conducted an on-site quote the same day. By the following week, we had several painters including Gil who were working on our home. We were also doing other remodeling work so there were parts of the house that had to be painted at certain times and Castillo worked around our schedule. The end result is a very high quality paint job in all rooms of our house that was delivered on schedule and at the cost we were quoted. As an FYI, Castillo is very competitively priced relative to other painters we investigated.

Overall, Gil and his team did a fantastic job. We initially gave them about $3500 of work, but extended them for a larger job once we saw the quality of their work and the professionalism of the team. The initial phase was priced about $1500 less than a large, established competitor. I was really impressed with the professional nature of their team, and the quality of the work was excellent. We were particularly pleased with the chair rails and fire place mantel. It was very easy to add on additional small jobs at the same price structure. I think his company is relatively new, but don't less that discourage you. His owner/operator model does the same quality of work as a painting shop with a lot of overhead.

Very good experience. Gil was professional and to the point. Good communicator. Performed the work and then some. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again.

I was referred to Castillo by another painter and was quite pleased with the overall experience. He came the day after I called him for an estimate and completed the work that very same day. He very professional and polite and left my house as tidy as it was before he arrived.

I liked the quality of the work. They did a really good job. They were really customer focused and worked around my family needs. They charged what they had quoted to us.
