I've always considered myself technically capable when it came to PCs as I work in the IT industry. I have always been very careful about opening emails and downloading files from websites. Nonetheless, it became obvious to me that my laptop had become infected with malicious files or software. I tried all the standard malicious software removal tools, but after several weeks things just went from bad to worse. I emailed Monty at Paltechs on a late Friday morning and he immediately called back indicating he could take a look at my laptop that same afternoon. I left early from work and dropped it off at 2:00pm and he had it ready that afternoon around dinner time. The cost was quite reasonable and my laptop was back working again. He didn't have to reload the operating system, and took time to explain what he did. He also made suggestions as to what virus protection programs are best and what search engines are more secure.
