Omega Structures Inc

Was no where near finished by September 1st. I had to hire other people to try to get this building finished for the October 1 renting season. The new subcontractor had to redo much of the work that Omega's people did as it was poorly or incorrectly done They had to tear out a lot of the tile in the bathrooms as they did a terrible job. I had to hire carpenters to rehang doors as Omega did them wrong. I had to hire a painter because the man that they used was putting water in the paint. Omega had to redo the whole first floor dry walling. They did not finished fixing the front and back stairs. In comparing the dimensions of the rooms and closets, not one matched the architects drawings. They did the outdoor sewer wrong and it did not pass inspection by the city. In fact they tried to get away with the wrong pipe by painting it black to look like lead pipes. They installed the wrong size furnaces and the city inspector would not approve them. They reinstall new furnaces which also did not pass the city inspection. Again the wrong size. Yet they were going to charge for the larger correct size furnace which was on the blue prints. They install the wrong size windows. Windows were 6 inches short and 6 inches too narrow. I had to get another company to install the correct size windows according to the blue prints. They installed the wrong tub fixtures. They rolled a huge dumpster across my sidewalk and then wanted me to pay for putting in a new walk which they broke in several places. They finally did replace the sidewalk. They did not grind out the old cement when tuck pointing. They just skimmed a layer of cement over the old .This will cause cracking and will have to be redone next Spring. I have water leaks in the building.
