 + -1 moreMeghan has a good eye and really nice ideas about using space. We were a bit afraid that an interior designer would suggest a lot of new furniture that wasn't very child-friendly, or drive us to purchase a lot of expensive pieces. Meghan did neither. She assessed our home and our needs, and then gave us a very specific plan that took our lives into account and respected our family, our budget, and our tastes. She sent lists of furniture pieces, found stuff on sale, and contracted carpenters to do assembly and installation. Now we have room for our son and his buddy to play, our counters are clear, our filing has a home, and we have places for books and electronics outside of the toddlers' reach. Our TV is finally wall-mounted, we have a dining table that folds away so it does not become a paper storage area, and I have a desk again. We're very impressed with her work and have already recommended her to friends!
Description of Work: Professional design services to re-configure our three-bedroom condominium: assessing space use, needs and style; development of an interior design plan, including specific recommendations for items, vendors, materials and colors; written reports; procurement of furniture and accessories and giving us information to procure other items; and hiring and managing contracted carpenters to do assembly and installation.
