This was my first time using this place. I had two large rugs picked up for cleaning on Feb 9 and they were returned on Feb 16. The rugs were dropped off. When I opened them, there was still dog hair on them. I called right away to describe the dog hair I found and they sent the drivers back to pick them up again. I was guaranteed by Donna that the carpets would be looked at again and cleaned of dog hair. I expressed via email my disappointment. They've been in business over 100 years, you can't tell me my carpet is the first one that had dog hair on it that they ever received. Carpet was returned Wed Feb 23. The larger rug was totally clean and that was the rug that was the dirtiest. The smaller was was not as bad but yes it had dog hair on it. For what I paid, I expect to get the rugs back with NO dog hair. However, the smaller rug still had dog hair on it. Based on their website video and statements listed, these rugs should have been 100% clean. I received no call asking if I was satisfied with the rugs. I will not be using them again. The carpet and upholstery cleaning were great. They arrived on time, fixed a soiled area and quickly finished the entire job. The rug was done in 5 days, as promised. I’ve used them before, so I don’t know how competitive they are in pricing, but I was happy with their charges.

The people on the phone and at our home were courteous, warm and professional. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the work was excellent. I would use no one else from now on to clean our rugs. They cleaned three large rugs and two smaller Turkish handmade rugs. All the wool rugs were treated to remove moth eggs and such beforehand.

They did a great job. I would recommend them.

I was skeptical that these carpets could ever be cleaned and thought I would have to throw them away. Northcenter Rug did an amazing job. They look as good as when they were new. For the job that they did, their price was reasonable. All the representatives for the company were polite and helpful.

Service as expected. Will definitely use again .

We had used them before several times but stopped after they blew off an appointment. Decided to give them a try again months later and the result was good.

Northcenter called the day before with a 2 hour window for pick-up. Gary and helper arrived on time. Rug was gone for 2 weeks. I had originally expected a 1 week delivery, but got a call stating they were going to put it through another time. Was called the day before, again with a 2 hour window, for delivery. Delivery team (Gary and helper) was terrific in setting up rug and moving furniture. Rug looks terrific. I opted for the Microseal protection; we'll see how it holds up.

I have used this company for years, long before Angie's list. It was easy to make an appointment and they called to remind me. The workers arrived on time and very efficiently completed the cleaning in an hour's time. They were friendly and professional.

The sales person was very professional when we brought in our heavily stained rugs- we were embarrased about the pet stains, and he acted as if that was the norm. They take care of these stains- we just noticed more than we thought when we unrolled the rugs in the shop. We got the rugs back in about a week- they were cleaned and looked so much better. We were referred to this location by a friend who also had a positive experience.

I have used North Center for 12 years. They always do a great job on my carpets and furniture. Super responsive. Ron is the best!

They did a good job. They picked up my rug on time and delivered it back to me on time. They came out some time in October and I spent about $150.

They confirmed the appointment ahead of time and arrived as scheduled. They are very professional and do great work.

Great! I dropped them off (you get 10% discount). Ken looked them over, suggested repair of fringe on some which they did very well. They called me when the rugs were ready and the pads as well. I asked them to deliver them (so no 10% discount that way). Rugs look and smell great! I have used them before and have just brought more to them recently. Such a good job and very reasonable. Have been in business a long time.

I received a nice discount for dropping off and picking up the rug. The service was pleasant and a genuine effort was made to ensure that the rug was ready within the time frame that I needed. I will use them again.

We took our 10-year-old area rug with some stains in it to the Lincoln Avenue shop of North Central. Ken, the guy behind the desk, carried it into the store for us. They cleaned it, and we got it back along with the new pad we purchased in about 10 days. We thought the price was more than fair. When we got it home we were really pleased with how clean and new the rug looked. And with the new pad there is a softer feel when you walk on it. We are very pleased.

They were very professional and we liked everything about the way they do business. It helped that they came in under their quote, of course.

When I went into the store, I was quickly and professionally greeted. They provided me with a pick up date and cost. I was able to pick up my rug a day early, and they carried it out to my car for me. I found the people there to be very friendly and professional. I would use them again for area rug cleaning.

The Company was great. I called to schedule an appointment to pick up a rug. They called me the evening before the appointment and gave me a 2 hour window - they arrived within 15 minutes of the beginning of the time window. They came and picked up the rug and moved a couch and coffee table to take the rug. They called the evening before the agreed upon return date with a 2 hour window and showed up within 30 minutes of the beginning of the time window. When they brought the rug back, they again moved the couch and coffee table, put the rug down and then put the couch and coffee table back. Everyone i dealt with from the Company was extremely friendly and helpful.

Basically, the entire experience was a series of troubling customer service oversights, one after the next. From a poorly cut rug pad, to inattentive service in store, I felt like I was getting the run around. If anything, as a loyal customer, you would think there would be at least some attention paid to my needs and concerns. Instead, I received attitude when I questioned the lack of timeliness in resolving my complaint about a mis-cut rug pad. One would think since I was told that my rug pad would be cut in ten minutes, it would have been waiting for me 30 minutes later, but it was not; instead, it sat on the counter while I walked around the neighborhood in an attempt to allow the customer support people to do their jobs. Instead of completing my request promptly when it was promised to me, it sat around while the CS at the desk decided to help other customers. And the owner was far too concerned with making chocolate sales for his child's little league team as opposed to actually overseeing the business he was losing through these egregious displays of unprofessionalism. When I pointed out this lack of respect and the numerous problems I had with their service, I was given attitude and excuses. Pretty much done using this joke of a service.

My rug was quite stained from having had a sick pet. I had attempted to spot clean after each incident but wasn't able to get out the food stains. The pickup occurred midway in the 2-hour window and the rug was whisked into the truck. I was told it would be returned one week later, and it was. I was given a 3-hour delivery window but got a call about 2 hours into it indicating they were running late and it might take another hour. The men arrived within the new estimated period and quickly put the rug in place. It was beautifully cleaned with no stains remaining.

They were polite, punctual and quick. Did not try to sell me extra services that I did not want. Called to confirm both pick up and delivery times. Sales receipt includes a description of the condition of each rug, which is useful for our household records. The Angie's List discount was nice too!
