North Shore did a fantastic job painting the stairway in our two-flat. The stairway ceiling was water damaged and there were several cracks on the walls. The crew repaired everything expertly. The price was very fair.

Great! Jiri (Jerry) was great. Super friendly, started and finished the job on schedule and had a team of guys for everything. We had some water damage in the basement that required replacing drywall, trim, and repainting the entire basement. His guys were super efficient, the whole thing took 3 days of actual work, plus drying time. Looks better than before. Got a couple quotes and his price was fair. Will use again.

North Shore Painting is awesome! My sister recommended them, and I'm so glad she did. They are professional, friendly, do great work, and have very affordable prices. They painted all the baseboards, window trim, cabinets, closet trim/casing, and two entry doors in my condo. My once very brown cabinets and trim now look brand new after being painted white. They also offer great customer service and made the process super easy. If you're looking for painters, I highly recommend Jiri and his team.

So happy with this vendor. After a botched painting job (by me!) I needed someone to fix my mess. Jiri responded to my inquiry immediately, promptly scheduled a site visit and provided a quote. His team was excellent. They arrived on-time, followed all Covid safety protocols, did an EXCELLENT job, and left the place spotless. The quote that I received was way to high! They never called me to follow up if I was going to go with them. Not a good sign! Got work done for a great price and professional job done ✅

No reply following several attempts to reach them. Then an outrageous quote after needing to remind them to respond. Had my job completed elsewhere for $300 after receiving their quote for $1875.00. Just say no if you don’t want the job.

I hired Northshore Painting & Restoration to have my kitchen cabinet painted white. I highly recommend this company for cabinet painting. I contacted 4 companies for this project. I picked this company because Jiri, the owner, was the only one that recommended spraying the cabinet boxes with lacquer instead of brushing/rolling to paint the cabinet boxes white. Spraying with lacquer would create better results than painting with brushing/rolling but required more work because they had to seal off the area and cover everything not being sprayed. He was offering to do that while other painters did not or charged more for doing that. The result was great. Work was completed as scheduled.

I’d like to recommend a contractor. Northshore Painting and Restoration just finished painting over our wood stained cabinets. The job turned out perfectly. What I liked most was they took the cabinet doors to their shop to sand and prime them before painting them with the proper kind of paint. This prevented the VOC of the primer and paint to be present in the kitchen. They matched it to the paint we chose for the rest of the cabinets which was low VOC. When one cabinet door was not quite reattached level, Jiri came back and adjusted the hinges. We are about to ask him to have his company prepare and re stain our deck.

Jiri was well mannered and professional and answered all questions. The work, performed by members of his team of excellent and courteous experienced workers. the drywall job started on a Wednesday and completed the following Monday. Painting started on Tuesday and were done Thursday, only to come back Friday morning for any touch ups, which handled in 2.5 hours!

Jiri was easy to reach and responsive. Work was done quickly and efficiently. However, rather than removing the socket plates before painting, the painters simply painted over them and now we can't use that socket as it's clogged with paint.

Estimate was thorough, price was great, job was completed by day requested.

Jeri and Gabriel did a fantastic job painting 2 rooms in our house, as well as some wood trim, doors, and patching. I left a message to schedule a walk-through and Jeri replied right away. We also changed the scope of our project a couple of times and Jeri was very flexible and willing to accommodate us throughout the planning. Finally, after one room was completed we realized we didn't like the color, so they were able to schedule us for an extra day to re-paint. After they left there were a few small paint spots and they came back right away to completely clean. The quality of the work was excellent and they worked quickly. They were both very nice also!

We were dreading painting our house but it had been 12 years and our walls had taken a beating. Jiri came promptly to offer a quote which was considerably lower than the others we obtained. The team came on time as scheduled, were courteous and great to work with, did an outstanding job with patching and painting, left almost no mess, accommodated our busy work schedules and moved our furniture back when they were done. Our house looks better than new! We don't have much experience with professional painters but don't think anybody can do much better a job than North Shore Painting & Restoration. We plan on having them back to do more of our house!

This time as in many times in the past, Jiri and his crew are professional in all ways. They are prompt, clean, and the work is perfect.

North Shore quoted a reasonable price to do a suffit + painting. The job was very well done, so I decided to have them do a handrail for the staircase, along with tiling in the laundry closet. All was done very well with impeccable finish. The team asked for inputs along the way to ensure it would be done to my liking, without inflating the price.

North Shore Painting and Restoration did an outstanding job repairing and painting ceilings, plus painting walls, and sanding/patching and painting doors and radiator covers for our two bathrooms. Jose worked diligently and finished the job within 3 days. He left everything clean and neat, like new. Jose arrived on time each day, and Jiri visited twice to assure understanding of the job and timing of the work to be completed. North Shore Painting and Restoration did the job for a fine price; in fact, for literally half of the price of one estimate we received.

Came quickly for an estimate and was professional and comprehensive but another company bid much lower.

Jiri gave me an estimate from photos rather than needing to schedule a visit, which was great. He scheduled one job, and when I found another small job, he agreed to have them both done the same day. His talented drywaller / painter did a beautiful job not only fixing a crack on one wall but also going above and beyond to fix other sloppy but not as severe drywall work on the same wall. In addition, he fixed an uneven area around a new light fixture in another room. Both walls were painted to match their respective rooms, one of which he needed to match himself since I didn't have the paint for that room. Both walls matched the other parts of their respective rooms so nicely that it wasn't obvious they'd ever needed work. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

We needed an interior back stairwell painted after an at-home lead test proved there might be lead paint flaking off of the brick of our 100+ year old home. Jiri was able to come and give a quick assessment and quote. His team sealed and repainted everything in just a week. It now looks beautiful and we don't have to worry about any lead paint for our toddler. Would definitely use again!

Jiri visited to provide an estimate, and even though they were very busy, he found time for one of his guys to do the work. I hadn't moved in yet making the job easier since there wasn't furniture to work around, so I appreciated his willingness to fit me in. The painter used blue tape to ensure no paint got on the white trim, and he applied two coats. While the painter was finishing, Jiri stopped by with trim paint and said they wanted to touch up the trim to cover paint marks left by the prior painter since the wall color was now different and the marks were more obvious. This was definitely beyond my expecrtations and I'd use them again if the need arose.

I have used NorthShore Painting for several projects in the past and have always been very happy with the the quality of their work and with Jiri's responsiveness. I will continue to use them in the future.

Jiri and his team did an amazing job! Our kitchen cabinets look brand new. We were hesitant at first about painting the dark cabinets white, but Jiri assured us it would look great, and he and his team sure delivered! They look as if they’ve always been this bright.
