Crew was on time, did a great job and cleaned up all debris. They kept us posted as they went along and were done on time. The roof looks great.

Company came out to do a walk through and provide an estimate, however, never provided estimate. We called service person a few times and even called main company's number and no one ever called us back. Terrible customer service and professionalism.

They had to come back because the job, as far as putting up gutter, the first time they did it, it was not installed good. They had to come back out and redo it. He did correct the job. It was in the front and it was leaking. He went up on the roof and said it was a quarter part, they didn't do half, just a quarter. The said the way our house was shaped they had to pull the roofing together and the water wasn't going down in the drain. It was jumping over the drain. They had to come back and fix that. Then I asked for them to put in leaf guard. I would say it was a fair job. It was $9000 just for that little area. We had someone else come in and check it out and even though they were going to go all the way around the house, it was more expensive. The way they had it fixed you could see it from the street. It looked tacky to me. Even now, they came back to repair it and they say they fixed it but it is mostly the same way. We had another roof put on and we didn't have these kind of problems, and the water is still jumping over the drain. They tried, but the people who they had doing it didn't impress me. I had another roof put on and that is how I know it was different. They respond pretty well. The son, the owner, came out after the other brother and he was more worried about what his father would say if he was alive. They were nice. In other words, I wouldn't go back to them. They mostly came around when they said they were coming, except one time he didn't come. They were nice but they just couldn't do the work.

The chimney liner job didn't happen. Gave me a price, said what needed to be done but all together three different guys came out over several weeks to determine what needed to be done. The second guy didn't know what needed to be done so I called the first guy who called him and started yelling at him. The third guy came out and said they could do it an easier way. I had to keep calling and finally was given a date for the work. They called the day before. When I called in the morning, they told me they sent the crew somewhere else because I didn't confirm the day before. All the other work was arranged without confirmation the day before. I told them to forget it and requested they bill me for the balance on the other work done. The bill included the chimney liner work that wasn't done. It took three more telephone calls to get them to straighten the billing. Very frustrating. Cannot recommend.

So far horrible! They were supposed to begin on Wednesday but it rained on Tuesday - no fault on their part. So, Brett called to say that work would begin on Thursday, but that did not happen because there was a scheduling mix up on their end. Talked to Eddie and voiced my concerns especially since the weather predicted rain for Saturday. Eddie apologized and said that they would get it done in 1 day 1/2. Well it is Saturday just about 2:30pm and the roof is complete. But there is about 5 tons of roofing debris (according to one of the workers), soot and tar left in my driveway as well as soot everywhere and all the workers have left. Now I am cleaning up this mess! They did come back and cleaned up and completed the job. The situation is ongoing, but there is a more positive look out as it stands.

Perfection throughout the whole process. From estimation with Jack Weber through completion. Crew arrived promptly at 7:15am and completed the job in one day. All debris removed and they swept the front of my home as well. I will call Nombach for any roofing needs in the future.

Jack Weber,the estimator came out March 10 to review the project. The shingle replacement was obvious,however the leak we were experiencing from our chimney was harder to analyze do to the steep pitch and placement of the chimney in the center of the roof. Jack was knowledgeable and gave us two options in relation to what the service technician would find on closer inspection. If the flashing was found to be defective it would need to be replaced or just caulking might solve the problem.We were agreeable to whatever the service tech would recommend.We signed the contract and were told we would receive a call in 7 to 10 days to schedule an appointment.To our surprise, we received a call 5 days later at 7:20 am from the service tech telling us he would be over in 1 hr to do the job.Although I was surprised by the call which was not scheduled,I agreed to have the work done even though I had an appointment scheduled for that morning which required leaving home. Normally,this last minute scheduling would not be a problem but do to my previously scheduled appointment I had to push the time back so I could be home for the repair.At 9:30am the technician had not arrived and I called the Nombach office and was told the tech would be at my home in 10 minutes,which was accurate.However do the late arrival I had to cancel my other appointment. I was surprised to see one person assigned to this job do to the steepness of the roof and placement of the chimney. Chris J the tech was obviously highly experienced and confident that only one person was required for the job.The shingles were quickly replaced and the chimney flashing was assessed and found to be in good condition requiring only caulking. The honesty of Chris in not replacing the flashing ,which would have doubled the price of the repair, was appreciated.Although we have not had an extremely heavy rain,the caulk repair appears to have solved the leak.Do to their honesty and performance on this fairly small job,I would consider using Nombach for additional projects in the future.

Jack came out to look at the damaged and brought with him a few shingles to fix the roof temporarily until the insurance company check came through. He originally said 180.00 but came out put the few shingles up and said in all honestly it took 10 minutes and could not charge me. i gave his company my buisness because he was honest and a nice person to deal with. i would highly recommend them. Other companies were going to charge 900.00 to put the few shingles up thats the places you want to stay away from.

Excellent, the workers were professional, punctual and did an amazing job. After the installation the crew performed clean-up of the property leaving it in the same condition as it was before they started.

The job went very well. I live out of state, so that makes it a little more complicated. My tenants were very happy with the professional behavior of the workers. The job was done quickly and well.

They did an excellent job and they were very timely. The gentleman was the owner's son. He was very nice and we liked him a lot.

I explained the problem by telephone and was advised that Mark Weber would be coming to the house to look at the problem. Mark came on time, and was extremely personable and professional. This is important to me being a single, older woman. I appreciated his willingness to discuss the issue, get the background information he needed, and then inspect the area where the leak was coming from. He took his time and was very thorough. It turns out that the leak was not coming from the roof. Mark was careful to explain exactly what he found and what needed to be done to remedy the issue. This is an issue that has been going on for some time and we have been told any number of things by people that have taken a look at it and "fixed it". Mark was completely open in telling me that the work was not something Nombach could help with, but wanted me to know what was going on so when I did call someone else who could repair the siding caulking, that I knew what needed to be done. Mark was honest, forthright, so very helpful, and a great example of good customer service.

They were great. They gave me a lifetime warranty on the shingles and guarantee the whole project. They took pictures and showed me everything they did step by step throughout the entire project. They even gave me a $200 discount for being and Angie's list member.

Services provided went really well. Nomback came out immediately to give me an estimate & came out and did the work within the timeframe they said. The quality looks really good.

We had Nombach Roofing and Tuckpointing come out to do repair work on our chimney. The estimator was very professional and courteous. We were given two estimates one for the job at present and one for a future job. The prices were very fair and competitive. They did our Chimney repair and it was very well done, you couldn't even tell there had been a crew there after they left, their cleanup was phenomenal. We will most definitely use them again for our future home repair work. m

Tony was on time and professional. He listened to our problem and then did an inspection and gave recommendation and a quote. Once we decided to go with them, he set up a time as soon as possible to come by so I could sign the papers and give a downpayment. They came and did the work sooner than he had told us it would take. They did a great job and they work perfectly. I would highly recommend them.

The provider did tuck pointing on the north and south side of my home did tuck pointing on the chimney which was almost falling down he also did some work in the front of the house. The workers came on time they started one day and came back the next day and finished up they were on time both days. When they finished up they cleaned up . the workers was friendly and very courteous.

The entire project took about 1.5 days. The crew really earns their money as the replacement was hard work. They did an excellent job and I'm extremely pleased with the result. My old windows didn't function very well, didn't look very well, difficult to clean and looked awful both inside and out. My new windows are a welcome sight.

We purchased our home 12 years ago with no knowledge of the roof's actual age. Our home is approx. 1800 sq.ft., split roof. An inside roof leak was noticed on a Monday night during a hard, steady rain storm. My husband climbed onto the roof and determined that we had a section of missing shingles and that this was most likely the cause of the leak. But we knew the existing shingles were old and we would eventually be faced with putting on a new roof. After a "roofing" search on Angie's List, I phoned Nombach Roofing the next morning (Tuesday) to obtain an estimate on a new roof. Estimator Tony returned my call later that day and was able to meet with us the very next morning, Wednesday. After his thorough examination of our roof, he presented us with a quote for a roof overlay. Fortunately, our existing roof had only 1 layer of shingles on it, and Tony found the overall wood underlayment to be in very good condition. He then sat with us and presented us with a short history of the company, a copy of the company's Business License, and a copy of their Certificate of Liability Insurance, as well as their excellent ratings with the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List. He then presented us with 3 prices: 20 year, 25 year, and 30 year warranty shingles. And Nombach itself offers their own 2 year labor warranty. He also had shingle samples for us to pick from for a color. Due to excessive rainy weather, we were told that it would be no more than 3 weeks for them to arrive to complete the job. It was exactly 10 days later, on a Saturday, that we received a phone call from Nombach at 7:00am and the full crew ( 2 large Nombach trucks) arrived by 8:45am. Crew member Sal met with my husband before they started the job to review what was going to be done. The job went well with no glitches or unforeseen obstacles. One crew member went around the entire house sweeping up the larger debris, followed by another crew member with a leaf blower. Sal met with my husband again and walked the perimeter of our house with him explaining everything that had been done. The entire job was completed, the area cleaned-up, and the crew gone by 1:00pm. We are very happy with the work done by Nombach and would recommend them. We've had more rain but no leaks!

Estimator took over a week to return call, then offered a long list of excuses about how hard the job would be because of the age of the building, pitch of roof, narrowness of the street, proximity of other buildings, etc., etc. Other contractors who work in the neighborhood (and there are many) deal with these factors without the bellyaching. And the estimator never even bothered to follow-up with a quote. Might be a good company if you have a ranch home on a quarter-acre lot in a suburban cul-de-sac, but didn't seem ready to work on older buildings in an urban neighborhood. Didn't seem professional, not impressed. Update after Jun 11 response: We knew full well Nombach is not an exterminating company, and we did not ask the estimator to remove any animals -- we had already hired an exterminating company to do that work. If this is what your estimator told you, it confirms my impression that he was not listening carefully and had already decided not to follow up with us.
