Their estimates were good compared to other roofers. Customer Service was great. They arrived within the time stated, used quality materials and cleaned up when finished. I highly recommend Nombach roofing , you WON'T be disappointed !!!

Everything looks great. They were on time, and when they left was clean and in place. The workers were very professional and polite.

Salesman came out and quoted me a price of 4200.00. for a 2 garage rood, tear off and replacement. He was to get back to me on financing and never got back to me. I have used them once before. This is not the first time that this salesman did not follow up with me. He made this company lose a lot a money from me.

The estimate was spot on and the work was completed 1 day early. Quick cleanup and contacted a month later to make sure everything was Nombach Roofing made, what I thought was going to be a difficult, trying experience, into something that I can truly call wonderful. Their quote was very detailed and every question my husband and I had was answered. I received quotes from several roofing companies and was left with doubt and concerns. Not with Nombach! To ensure that everything was completed properly, Jack Weber climbed on my roof both before and after the job was finished. During construction the crew working on my house was professional and efficient. Shockingly, the job was finished a day EARLIER than expected!!! I highly recommend Nombach Roofing company for all of your home exterior needs!

I chose to work with Chicago Brick Company after a friend recommended them. Prior to hiring them I did my due diligence to research other reputable roofing companies in the area, including looking at jobs completed by Chicago Brick Company within a 5-mile radius. The difference in Chicago Brick Company is the outstanding quality of service. Mark Weber was terrific. He stood out above the rest of the salesmen that came out to inspect my house and provide an estimate. The crew that completed the job was efficient and clean. I highly recommend Chicago Brick Company! Excellent company!

Mark Weber is the manipulative sales rep of Nobach Roofing. He came armed with a thick manual full of thousands of alleged references too small to read and no contact info. I’m addition there was a mistake on his insurance paper. Mark asked to read another roofers contract then he also asked for a copy however, I refused to give it to him. He only used that to double his estimate that comes with no warranty because he thinks we’re desperate. He lied about always using ice and water shield over all pitched roofs when in fact the standard contract that he emailed me has it penciled in at the bottom. Mark agreed to a two year contract yet it was not included on the contract. I don’t trust him or this company.

They were so nice answered all my questions when I was getting a quote. Came out a few weeks later (today) in the below 10 degree weather and replaced my gutter. Other companies (5 of those companies were from this website with a A rating) gave me the run around, didn't show up or didn't give me a quote in writing one even told me I had to contact my other 5 neighbors for the repair because he thought all of our gutters were connected. (I have a row home with out a HOA). Nombach was the best company for the job I tried 6 other companies. The price was great not too cheap not to expensive. I have more work to do on the exterior of my home and they will my first call. I really enjoyed working with them. They knew what they were talking about from the start! They completed the work quickly and were on TIME!

My initial call set my expectations high the lady was very nice and informative about the estimator who would be helping me. I've done the contractor thing before and its not fun, she made me feel excited about the estimator coming out to look at my home. She explained about the short delay in setting the appointment and it made sense and I agreed. I knew this would be different I just didn't know how much different. Here is a bit of bad news, several contractors looked at my 2 story building and in what seemed 15 minutes had there price pushing me to give them the job. They pointed at a few obvious areas but I wanted my entire building to be fixed as needed. Here is the good news and expectations are high Chicago Brick called and said he will be on time, he also asked that I would be ready to walk around the property with him. Chicago Brick called again just to say he was on the street and parking. I did meet him at the entrance of the building. He gave me his card and asked me to show him all of my concerns. He measured the areas I was pointing out, the other guys didn't measure. After looking at my concerns he asked if he can go on the roof to look from the top down. He asked if I would go up with him but that is a big NO WAY! He did go up and took many photos and showed me areas I didn't know needed work plus the chimney. He explained everything in detail even had his License and Insurance for me to see. My expectations were high and will say this is a company that is doing it right from beginning to end. I was very excited with all I've seen and heard so I hired them of course. Short delay to start but that was okay with my schedule I wanted to be in town when work was going on. The office called to let me know the day of installation and that worked well. The crew was very nice and the work and clean up was very good. I will hire them again for my sidewalks and steps.

It went well. The estimator Jack was excellent. He listened to our needs and provided the estimate.

They were great I called to tell them what I wanted Mark Weber came out to go over how much it will cost and what I will be getting. They are the best especially Mark Weber.

They were excellent! They gave me a senior citizen discount as well as a $50 gas card through a promotion they offered to previous customers. I like how neatly they work, they really clean up well. The installers as well as the sales reps are just really nice people. I will definitely use their services again.

It went terribly wrong. I hired Nombach to fix a leak in my roof on my rental property. Per Nombach recommendations, the roof could not be fixed. I needed a new roof. So I contracted for a new gemini white granulated modified bitumen roof. According to Nombach, I had a manufacturer's Ltd warranty for 12 years and the life expectancy of the roof was 20 years, Upon installation of the new roof, I thought everything was fine because I did not receive any complaints from the tenants. However, every thing was not fine. The roof has been leaking for several years now causing damage to the 3rd floor ceiling and the 2nd floor ceiling. I became aware of the problem after a city inspection was conducted in 2016. When I became aware of the problem, I contacted the company in order to resolve the problem. Mike Webber came out and gave me an estimate on how much it will cost in order to repair the problem. The cost of repairs would be thousands of dollars. The estimated repair price alarmed me. The repair estimate was too high so I contacted other roofing companies for their take on the situation. I had several companies come out and inspect the roof. All companies agreed that the roof was install improperly for the following reasons: 1.) There were too many layers on the roof. Nombach should have tore off the old roofs (all five of them). 2.) The copper footing should not have been covered with the bitumen roofing. The bitumen roofing should have came up to the copper footing. 3.) The bitumen seams were not PROPERLY torch together. THUS CAUSING WATER TO ENTER AT THE SEAMS, GET BETWEEN THE LAYERS OF ROOF AND SETTLE ON THE ROOF AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE JOINTS. 4.) The bitumen roof was not properly attached to the addition on the building because the bitumen roof was lifting up. 5.) The bitumen is dry rotted and it has several holes in it. I also contacted the supervisor Brent (not sure if this is the correct spelling) regarding the repair estimate. Brent was totally unprofessional and a smart *** to say the least. He said things to me like, "what do you expect me to do, it is a ten year old roof? I can't have my workers working for free. Perhaps, you should call the manufacturer. And I even if I repair your roof, there is no guarantee that the repair will stop the leak. I can only guarantee that the leak will stop if we install a brand new roof because water could be coming from anywhere. " (Please keep in mind: Nombach install a new roof in order to stop the leak the first time. However, they cannot guarantee that the leak will stop unless they install another roof. ) And "perhaps you should get the other roofing companies to do the work since you feel so confident with their opinions". The conversation was very unsettling and it prompted me to file a complaint with the State Attorney Office. Nombach cannot guarantee that a repair would stop the leak because the work was faulty and the roof is beyond repair. All the other roofing companies recommended a new roof. So much for the life expectancy of 20 years. I believe Nombach gave me a patch job by adding the layer of bitumen to the stop the leak. It may have stopped the leak for a year or two, but it did not solve the problem. I would not recommended this company to anybody. Do not purchase a roof from them, unless you want to buy another in less than ten years. Please note: This is a 3 flat building and I never went on the roof to inspect the roof. I trusted Nombach to perform a quality work. This was foolish of me. I should have gone on top of the roof before the work was done and after the work was completed. This was a hard lesson learned. I have attached some of the pictures of my roof which shows the current condition of my roof. I also attached the written estimates showing the life expectancy of 20 years.

The work was done promptly and on-time. Everyone at Nombach was very responsive, professional and courteous in person and on the phone. The company did everything they and their representative (Jack) said they would do. They did a great job on cleaning up after each work visit. Even after we paid in full, they came out at our request without hesitation to make some touch ups. We would definitely use their services again for any home exterior needs and we heartily recommend them to everyone who needs work on their home exteriors (roofing, tuck-pointing, concrete, gutters, etc.).

The roof was installed improperly and continued to leak after installation.

Quickly, professionally, with no cleanup issues. Loved the results.

The quote pricing is why I did not use them. They were very responsive. They were the first that actually came out. They were polite, courteous and professional. I did not use them because at that time, they were not the lowest.

No estimate was given, so no work was done. Will not call again for any other needs. Felt like they did not live up to their motto "A family business, big enough to get the job done, small enough to care.".

I have no complaints on the tuck pointing and re-shingling however all efforts to fix the leak were futile. They repitched, reflashed, restrapped and reinstalled the front gutters and downspouts to no avail, the leak got worse after I contacted their estimator he assured me the service department would follow up and I haven't heard from anyone in three weeks. Calling their number directly it is impossible to get someone on the phone.

Great team. They work smoothly together with everyone knowing their jobs. The finished product looks so good. Glad we went with Nombach.

we paid $40000 for a COMPLETE ROOF TEAR DOWN ,they came started the work tore some of the roof up,did not clean after the work is done the debries was all over the place,it rained that night the debries clogged the drain and the water has no were to go so we had disaster #1 flooded 2 floors.3 days later the came to finish the work tore another part of the roof laid some roofing material on it without sealing it ,I told them they should seal it before they leave in case it rains they said it is not going to rain . sure enough we get up at 4 am and the water was coming down in our bedroom like a mini fall it went down to the living room and the basement below. the bedroom ceiling collapsed and it took us 3 days to clean up and 2 months of nasty oder . they came to finish the work ,2 days later they where done .I noticed a few areas on the roof and around the drains was not done they said that was not part of the contract. I said we a greed to a $ 40000 complete roof tear down and you are telling me parts of the roof is not included.we signed a contract for a complete roof,we are not experienced all we know some one recommended them we paid them $40000 for a comlete roof tear down they wher higher by $10000 than the other estimates ,the roof is only 2000 sf flat roof ,I found out we paid more than double the reg price charged by other roofers.to make a long story short we had multiple leaks fixed. I brought an experienced inspector to check the roof and he noticed the drains they fixed are set 1 inch above the roof surface thus the rain water cant flow freely and also against the city code.i called them up edd came and checked it and he sent somone to fixit but did not,all he did was put a thin roofing sheet around the drain wich does not solve the problems.i t gets better,today they sent me an invoice for $600 for the work done under the warranty,i was never told befor or agreed before or after the work is done that their is a charge for the work,do not do business with this company .

Beautiful roof, holding up really well against the rain

Although there was an issue with the initial estimate not covering the full scope of the repairs needed, requiring a second estimate. It was caught before any work was done and they promptly informed me. They were professional every step of the way. The work was substantially complete within a day, with a follow up visit to complete the gutter work. Over the unusually rainy winter there have been no leaks or issues of workmanship since the work completion.

They did not provide an estimate so they were not considered for the job.
