New Color Cabinets

I was so happy with the work done by Raymond at New Color Cabinet. I was a little apprehensive at first after having read a review, but in the end I’m glad I hired New Color. I wanted my stained cabinet painted white and Raymond did an outstanding job. From explaining the process start to finish and taking care to protect my countertops and all the areas that weren’t being worked on including the floors. I’ll be hiring Raymond and New Color for my next project.

I have never been deceived and lied to so many times by a company. Plus they damaged my entire wooden floors with their unpadded ladders and spray paint machine. Raymund the owner was caught in so many lies and I no longer trust this company to do work. He told me to pay him an additional $2,000 and than he would provide me his insurance certificate to cover the damage to the floors. I paid, never received the insurance, I than get a red message that he will fix all the scratches/ dents the next morning and I refused due to the poor quality of work and asked for his insurance that I never received. So now I have to hire an attorney and sue the company. By the way he also broke one of my light fixtures and did not paint the crown molding which was clearly in the contact and was told to me in person. But when noticed it wasn’t painted he than lied to me that it wasn’t included and I had all my proof. He also lied about the ladders being padded, as I have pictures clearly showing that they were not. 0 stars, worst experience I’ve ever had!

Raymond and Martin did a great job replacing our previous cabinet covers. They were always on time and followed up with a couple of adjustments that were needed after the job was complete. If you want attention to detail, these are your guys. Excellent work at a competitive price.

Great experience overall. Showed up on days and times promised, always punctual. Never felt like I was being juggled with other projects. Took great care of covering all surfaces and leaving the place clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would highly recommend Raymond and his crew.

Our kitchen was painted one year ago, and within the year almost every cabinet door and drawer has chipped off and or peeled off. The wood was not properly cleaned and primed, terrible job. Would not recommend. I reached out to Raymond, and he came to check. He said he was going to charged me $100 per cabinet/drawer. He “fixed” a cabinet and touched up the chipping, the cabinet looks terrible and there is already more chipping going on because this was truly just a terrible job. He took advantage of us and did a rushed job to make money, instead of focusing on quality. I could have done a better job myself.

Raymond was great! Professional, punctual and services were priced fairly. Definitely will be using his services for my other project. Also recommended somene else for another service i needed and the gentleman came out even before Raymond was done with my project. I am a broker amd will definitely use him as a referral!

Raymond is amazing. He did a fantastic job on our cabinets. He is excellent in covering and protecting everything. He cleans everything up daily when he leaves, there’s nothing you have to do. His workmanship is outstanding. He has a great work ethic, and his personality and manners are those of what most people need to have in this day and age. Our kitchen looks beautiful… cannot believe how different the cabinets look from Golden Oak to solid white. I would not ever hesitate to hire him again, or to recommend him to anyone. He’s great at his trade. My husband and I both enjoyed having him in our home, completing our kitchen cabinets for us. He’s an extremely hard worker and does not take breaks and just sit around doing nothing.

Raymond did an excellent job resurfacing my bathroom and kitchen cabinets. He was on time, professional and affordable. The cabinets with the new doors he put in look fabulous. I would definitely recommend his services.

Raymond and Victor are real pros. Their communication, courtesy, flexibility and the quality of their work is second to none. I could not be more pleased with how my projects turned out and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting services. Anyone can paint a wall, but preparing and painting cabinets requires a special skill set that you would not want to trust just anyone with. From start to finish Raymond’s questions and suggestions gave me confidence and the end result was amazing. A carpenter who is doing a separate project in my home even noted the quality of their work and asked for contact information, unsolicited. Truly the best!

Raymond and his team did an outstanding job in my Mom's kitchen. The kitchen looks like a whole different kitchen. They kept to their timeline and budget. They were clean, fast and efficient. We added a few changes to the project and they were very accommodating. They not only do cabinets, they painted and replaced the granite counter. We would totally recommend New Color Cabinets! We hired Raymond to paint our 2nd floor bedrooms, hall, and stairway at the recommendation of our Brother-in-law. After seeing the New Color Cabinets truck, I wondered who in the neighborhood was getting new cabinets – I needed cabinet doors and drawer fronts replaced. Turns out, that is Raymond’s main business. His painting was exceptional! He was professional, prompt and kind. His pricing was quite reasonable. We then hired him to work on our kitchen cabinet project. Again, pricing was very reasonable. As the project progressed, we added additional replacement hardware and decided to replace all the drawers. His recommendations were spot on. The cabinets look terrific, and we could not be happier. As you may know, one thing leads to another. We decided to have a backsplash installed to complement the newly renovated cabinets. Raymond’s sub-contractor, Ruben Paulin, did an excellent job. His attention to detail made a big difference in our project. We definitely recommend Raymond and New Color Cabinets for your next project.

We wanted to hire Raymond, but after 2 visits and various phone calls, he did not follow threw to bring us the samples we were waiting for. This was even after he told us they were arriving and would come by our home in a couple of days.

I asked Raymond to come in and turn my gross 1970s brown cabinets into a nice bright white color to brighten up my kitchen. He delivered. He came by to measure & show me examples. The wait was a couple weeks to order & paint the doors. Once the doors were in, we scheduled a week to do sand & paint & did it within a few days. A little over a day for sanding & painting and and a half-day to install the doors. I had a renter in the unit & he covered up all the items in the cabinets. Any construction mess was cleaned up without a speck. Dealing with Raymond was easy. He answers his texts within a half hour, mostly minutes. He had no problem using a lock box to come in. He's trustworthy and more importantly he stands behind his work. One of the old cabinet cheap veneers came up & he came in & fixed it. He's very accommodating, his work is good, and its a good value. Between that & a granite counter top from LG Quartz, it added a ton of value to my kitchen. Thanks Raymond!

Raymond is very professional and is excellent at responding and communicating. I have a small galley kitchen and he had the doors detached and the cabinets painted within a day. Took away all meaterials. Then came a second day for a final coat and attach new doors. I was really impressed and it was a great value.

The BEST! I cannot express how terrific New Color Cabinets were. I requested a quote from 4 different cabinet companies. Raymond from New Color Cabinets was the only person who came out to see my kitchen. 2 other companies called back and said to send a picture and they would get back to me with a price. One did (much more expensive) the other didn’t. Raymond came to my home in less than 24 hours and quoted me a price. He brought samples and he told me it would be more cost effective to paint the cabinets instead of replace them. Raymond did a FANTASTIC JOB! I am thrilled with the end results of my kitchen. It looks completely new. The cabinets look brand new and beautiful. Raymond came the day he said he would. It took a few weeks to get on his schedule and the day before he was scheduled to come he texted me to remind me he would be at my home the next morning at 8 am. So refreshing for someone to show up the day he is supposed to!!! He was so organized and neat. He painted all the parts of my cabinets that couldn’t be removed beautifully. He did such. A great job then he removed all my cabinets and took them to be sprayed and brought them back 3 days later!!!! And they looked gorgeous!!! If you need any work done with your cabinets CALL RAYMOND!!! You WILL BE SO HAPPY!!!!

The guy Raymond he did a really good job. My cabinet around 25 years old now it looks brand new.

I'd give 6 stars if I could. We hired Raymond and his team to refinish/paint our oak cabinets on a tight budget and schedule. Raymond was a great communicator throughout. The work was clean, professional, and showed true craftsmanship--the before and after is pretty stunning. And their commitment to come back for touchups shows professionalism. We absolutely recommend their team and would hire them again for similar work in the future, especially if looking for a simple and effective upgrade like ours.
