Description of Work: Replaced one panel of a 3 panel sliding door that open onto a Juliet (not a true)balcony. Not an easy job and not all glass companies want to do it. Accomplished it as promised.

Description of Work: We suffered hail damage that did not evidence itself immediately. About two weeks after the storm, we noticed spreading cracks in two double-paned windows. I called Nemeth, and they can out promptly to measure in order to give us a price. Two days later, I noticed a crack in a third window, and once again they came quickly to measure. It took several weeks after that for them to get the glass in and to install it. I was happy with the service and thought the price reasonable. I found out from calling around that repairing double-paned windows is considerably more difficult than with single-paned.

+ 0 moreThey were a no-show for an appointment to get an estimate, even though I'd confirmed it with them a couple business days prior. I lost an hour of my day to go to the property location to meet them. When I called to find out where they were and found out they'd had a mix-up (I wasn't put on the schedule), they wouldn't prioritize me to reschedule and said it would be at least another week. Forget it, I'm done with them.
Description of Work: They were recommended to me to replace some insulated window glass I had at a property I'm getting ready to sell.

+ -1 moreThe picture window on the house needed replacement because of dirt infiltration between the double glazed panes. Al estimated the job. He was knowledgeable .The company scheduled the work at a time that was convenient for me, arrived when they said they would, quickly replaced the glass, (took only 15 minutes when the house was without a window-important when it was cold), cleaned up, did not make a mess inside, and the four workers were congenial. The wooden stops around the window did get cracked in the process of removing the glass and I wish that they would have completely replaced them but they did not have the equipment to do so . They managed to nail and caulk them up so that it wasn't a big problem.
Description of Work: Replaced a picture window (80x52) on a bungalow in Chicago.

Nemeth was the lowest price of the three contractors that gave me quotes and was able to do the job the same day. They came out within an hour to take final measurements and completed the job early that afternoon. Very professional, prompt service and thorough clean up job.

+ -1 moreThis was a positive experience. They came when they said they would. They had to order the glass and it was ready when they said it would be. I had to delay the work when I went out of town and they were ok with it. I called them when I came back and they came right out. They were very quick. I had no problems. I would hire this company again in the future.
