These people were some of the most professional service providers I've used. They arrived when the said they would, were nice, and did a good job.

it went all well. They even came back for a tiny corner that was not tucked well. It was fixed properly. They stand behind their work.

This is the third time we've called Charles for work on our house, and it will certainly not be the last. In the past he has carpeted our basement family room and laid marble in front of the fireplace, installed a runner on our stair case and now the family room shades. Charles came by, at our convenience, and went through a multitude of options with my wife. As always, he was thorough and patient and knew his products very well. As many will attest to, Charles is excellent at keeping in touch about dates and times, and this time around was no different. The installer arrived punctually, was professional and courteous and did a wonderful job. We highly recommend Nationwide for any of their offered services.

These folks are carpentry artists. Everyone was professional, tidy, on-time, and efficient. I could not be happier with the work that was done from Nationwide. My stairs are stunning.

Overall, I was very happy with the work and responsiveness. Charles keeps in communication so you know when materials and his workers are coming. If there are any delays such as a delay in receiving materials, he lets you know ahead of time. The workers arrived promptly for all three jobs and were professional and polite and willing to do little extra nips and tucks my wife asked for. The quality of the work on the flooring was excellent and we are still (6 months later) very happy with it. Because we liked the flooring so much, we asked for the same crew to do the tile in the kitchen. This was a mistake on our part because they were not primarily tilers. They did a good job for most of the tiling but the glass backsplash above the stove was crooked. We called Charles and he came out promptly to inspect. He agreed to send a more skilled technician to fix the problem at his own expense. The guy came as scheduled, fixed the back splash - and even gave us some tips on finishing it with specific types of sealants. It looked fine one he was done and we are also happy with the work. Charles called back again just to make sure everything had been fixed. We plan on reflooring or living and dining rooms this year and I fully intend to use Nationwide for the work. We are very happy with the work done and the courteous service. I have no hesitation recommending them.

It was great. He was very nice and helpful, didn't pressure me at all and really friendly and nice and offered a lot information even look like I probably wasn't going to go with carpeting. He was very responsive and on time. I would definitely consider using them.

Very professional and responsive. I shopped for wood blinds online and found Nationwide to be a better value. I will definitely use them for my future projects.

Everything was as promised and on time. Charles was easy to work with,came in at budget on our projects and was a man of his word.

He came to our home and helped us choose the right type and color of blinds and set up the installation to fit into our schedule. I would definitely use Charles again and will be when we add more blinds are needed.

Charles was very responsive to my initial inquiry and came to my house with samples within a couple of days of my call. He was very helpful in assisting me in my choices, particularly since I was initially uncertain but in need of addressing my aging kitchen floor. He continued to assist in sending me email photos of flooring I was considering along with grout color choices. He was very accommodating in addressing my scheduling request. I was particularly impressed with Charles's response to a damaged delivery of special grout I had ordered. Knowing I couldn't afford to reschedule and wait for a replacement shipment, he found a local alternative of a much better grade and substituted it for the damaged grout at no additional charge to me. Of course he let me inspect the alternate grout and approve the substitution. The team working on my flooring was very professional and quite efficient. They did an excellent job in ensuring a great finished product. I'm a bit late with my review, but this allows me to report that 4 months later, I'm every bit as pleased with my new flooring as I was when they completed the job!

Charles provides extremely excellent customer service. He follows up, he is prompt, he is kind, and he worked with us to get the best price for what we wanted. We are very satisfied with his service and the product. He is installation team was also very respectful and quick!

Although as a "Condominium Board" we did not have the repairs performed, WE APPRECIATE the flexibility in scheduling early morning appointments and that HE was most accommodating and polite with our difficult unit owner! Charles arrived on time for our quote appointment (no charge) and was able to narrow down the carpet options prior to our meeting based on comments I had made prior. He even helped me choose material and color based on traffic. JJ and his guys did a stellar job with the install - the edge cuts are laser straight, the seams invisible inside the closets where they had to work around the built-ins - everything looks fantastic. We were very pleased.

Charles is responsive, honest and pleasant, which gives him an immediate edge over so many other providers. Charles came out and gave us a reasonable and competitive quote for the needed work and was able to get crews out the complete the job quickly. Our new basement family room looks awesome! We highly recommend Charles and would not hesitate to hire him again for carpeting or any of the other services he provides.

Our desire to hire Charles was solely for blinds to cover our 21 windows. We have never worked with Charles or nationwide before, but we were excited to get an estimate from him. After interviewing many reps, we went with the best. The most delightful experience with Charles was his pleasant personality and offering us temporary blinds until installation. The temporary blinds made us feel much more comfortable walking around the house at night. In the end, we felt clear and complete with everything we wanted and chose for our home. We have everything we need at this time and can't wait to use Charles to help us finish our other home soon... Ginger & Latti P.S. Getting my kitchen flooring redone was my first major project undertaking in my condo and working with Charles at Nationwide was an absolute pleasure. He was prompt at responding, scheduling an appointment to come over for measurements and to discuss my needs and then offer various options in different price ranges. His flexibility to meet me at my condo after business hours was much appreciated. Based on my needs, Charles recommended I go visit a tile showroom close to me (Daltile in River North) which was a great suggestion. The sales person at the showroom was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with my decision making. Charles was then able to order the tiles I wanted from Daltile at a discount. Fast forward 6 weeks to installation day (I chose a late start due to personal travel), Charles was there personally with two other members of his staff. He personally delegated the work to his staff who without any hassles loaded all the material, completed the work over 1.5 days, packed and cleaned the place after the work was done and hauled away the old material. All in all, a very seamless set of operations. Charles is quick to respond (email/phone/text), process all paperwork over email and also has the option to receive payments via a credit card, albeit with a small convenience fee.

Good, though there is a small patch that raised and they didn't level the floor perfectly.

Refinished all Oak on 1st Level of Home (1050 SF) including full sanding of wood floors, 1 coat stain color, and applied 2 coats Swedish based wood floor finish. Also included basic dust removal with cleaning crew. Charles and his crew did a wonderful job on our floors. He was very thorough in his estimate of the job by taking extra time to explain what was and was not necessary to complete the refinishing project. Additionally, Charles was always in communication with updates. When there was a slight delay due to humidity (we refinished in July), he let us know immediately and even offered to work over the weekend to start and complete the project on time, which was not necessary. We were extremely happy with the finished floors and plan on using Nationwide floor to refinish areas on our second story soon. They only aspect of the project that was slightly under par was the cleaning crew. The closet floor in one of the bedrooms was refinished and that area was overlooked when cleaning was done. Because the closet has a lot of shelving, there was quite a bit to clean up. Other than that MINOR drawback, we were extremely satisfied with Nationwide and Charles!

I live in another state and so I rely completely on Angie's list referrals for my rental in Chicago. I had Charles install some window treatments last year and there were some complications. He was very professional about that and offered to do what he could to make my next experience an exceptional one. He did just that. I hired his company again to install carpeting. I had a very short window of time while i was there in which to have the install completed. Charles was prompt in returning calls and in ordering the carpet well ahead of time, and worked completely within my deadline. He came over personally with his crew at the beginning of the job and at the end to make sure everything was perfect. It was. I enjoyed working with Charles and his company and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I've never even thought about shopping for window coverings before, so when we bought a new home that needed them for every window, I was a little overwhelmed. After one not-so-great meeting and incredibly expensive estimate from another company, I was a LOT overwhelmed. Enter Charles at Nationwide: friendly, professional, and very helpful. Right off the bat, he offered options that would not only suit my budget, but were also pretty much exactly what I wanted. After the initial visit/estimate, he came by again to confirm my choices and double check the window dimensions. He was always prompt with communication, and he even worked with my tight schedule to get most of the coverings up within about 10 days (the day before our son's first birthday party!). The remaining shades were installed shortly after that and we are super pleased with the results. We would absolutely recommend Nationwide! Please note: custom window coverings are just not cheap. If you are looking for an absolute bargain, you're probably better off buying pre-made from someplace like Lowe's and installing yourself. But, if you want great service and a lovely custom product at a reasonable price, Charles at Nationwide is your guy.

Charles provided a dependable, no-frills, competitively priced service. His installer Benny did a very efficient and solid job - I highly recommend him for installations. NFWC is not a design house. Their first recommendation did not satisfy my needs (granted, this was a fairly involved project, for lots of large windows with various light-filtering and privacy requirements) . However, after my own research (I knew nothing about window treatments or the required minimum budget but had to learn), I settled on what I wanted and Charles provided me with a comfortable, friendly, low-pressure environment at the showroom on Sheridan Rd. to work through samples, pick colors, and ask questions. The price was competitive, the lead time - as promised. There was a slight mix-up with colors which was addressed with no questions asked. Overall, good experience for a good price by a small local Chicago business. I recommend it.

Charles, the guy who came out, gave me a nice estimate but I did not use his services. He was a really nice guy. He was very helpful. He followed up really well. I felt bad that I did not get back to him but some things came up. He was definitely a good guy. I wanted shutters on my front windows and whatever brand he was going with would not fit in my windows properly. That is why I did not use him.
