Nancy Perlman did a great job in selling my condo. From my first meeting with her I could tell that she was highly experienced and competent, and she did not disappoint. Her skills in analyzing comparables, setting the list price, marketing the property and negotiating the contract were spot-on from start to finish. She utilized a fantastic strategy in holding off the showings until the first open house, which resulted in us getting a full-price Cash contract in only 3 days. I was very pleased with this and thought it couldn't be any better. Then, due to an undisclosed issue with the buyer's financing, the deal promptly fell apart. Nancy remained cool, calm and collected and immediately managed to get another 4 offers. The final outcome was another all Cash offer, only this time we were $5k OVER list price! We are SO pleased with how the sale of our condo went, and we owe it all to Nancy! Initially we were going to just put a couple thousand in to clean it up and put it on the market, but after doing some comps, Nancy convinced us that doing some rehabbing would get us much more money in the end. My mother and I were lucky enough to have Nancy as our real estate agent buying our new homes and selling out existing one. Nancy has the caring professionalism that you hope to find in everyone that you work with. Nancy is nothing less than amazing! Despite being a very successful, incredibly busy, and well known real estate agent in the Chicagoland area, she makes each interaction feel as though you are her only client. We happened to meet Nancy when our landlord was getting an evaluation to sell the apartment we were renting. We closed on our condo very quickly and comfortably and were very happy. Anyone who is a first time home buyer would be lucky to have Nancy help them. Fast forward two years and you will find that we were still in contact with Nancy. Not as much since we didn't have anything active and loved our home, but enough to stay in contact and keep up a great relationship. Little did we know that we were going to decide to move out of state to be closer to family and that we needed a real estate agent again. My first thought was to call Nancy and let her know we were deciding to move. Since we had been in contact, she said she wasn't surprised and asked what we needed help with. In particular George Hansen came into Pilsen from the western suburbs to take a look at my ceiling and after spending a couple of hours with me, after driving a couple of hours, only charged me for some of the materials he brought. He was so helpful I couldn't believe what he charged me versus what someone local probably would have charged me for the same work and advice. If you can get him to help you I'm sure you'll be in good hands. Our lawyer, Nicole Daniel with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, was another recommendation from Nancy and has also been incredible. Just as we listed our property, the market slowed and even thought we had showings, we didn't get offers for a while. Nancy was very cool and collected and kept telling us it was only a matter of time. Despite our anxiety she was always very upbeat and would answer our calls promptly. We sold our property for less than we listed for but more than we purchased it for 2 years before. It was definitely a bonus to sell for that much more than we purchased and we were again very lucky to have Nancy helping us.

Nancy helped us formulate a description of our house which presented it in a most appealing and sellable manner. Nancy has always been very prompt in replying to any of our questions or calls for help using text messages, email and the phone. Nancy always speaks with other realtors, before they show the house to prospective buyers, reminding them to close and lock all windows which they may have opened and to make sure and lock all outside doors and shut off all lights when they leave. Nancy calls and emails us about updates and whenever there is going to be a showing of our property.

If the were a higher rating than "A" Nancy Perlman deserves it. About one year ado, We had decided to go from a townhome to a single family home and a good friend introduced us to Nancy. Once she established what we were looking for in a home and our price range, she found some properties for us to see. The second house we looked at was "the one." As it was a short sale, she was very candid about the amount of work the house would need in order to make it a home. One of the impressive things about Nancy is that she doesn't try to sugar coat the less than positives but also points out the potential and the positive aspects of the property. Nancy helped us complete our offer for the house and kept me well advised on the progress of the sale. Furthermore, she walked our townhouse before listing it and was instrumental in pointing out what needed to be done in order to make the house appealing to potential buyers.
