My All Season Guy

David has been phenomenal. He takes care of our lawn and backyard, shows up on time every week, and charges a reasonable price. When I needed help getting some landscaping done at another property I own outside his area of service, he helped out immediately. Very professional and highly recommend!

On the phone he sounded responsive for snow removal service, but showed up for an estimate days after he said he would. Then, I never heard from him again. At least he could have told me "sorry I can't do this job." Very unprofessional to just blow someone off after you've offered to submit an estimate.

We never utilized this firm's services as costs requested were WAY high compared to other firms. $75 per 2" to 6" removal / salting for a small Chicago single-family property. Came to over $2,000 for the season. Provider would not negotiate at all.

This was the first year we used Dave Niegebauer for snow removal, and with the winter we had, are we glad we found him! Dave did an incredible job -- our section of sidewalk was always the cleanest on the block. All the agreed-upon areas were cleared perfectly and in a timely manner. Dave always left behind a detailed service report for our records and operated in the most professional manner at all times. We found his prices extremely reasonable ($120 per visit for snowfalls of 2-6 inches or $160 per visit for snowfalls of 7"-12" depth) and Dave himself a pleasure to deal with.

We used Mr. Neigebauer for the first season 2013-2014, which was an extremely snowy year. Mr. Neigebauer was always prompt and courteous in providing services. His communication skills (along with his wife who does invoicing and also communicates in an outstanding manner) were exceptional. He and his workers were thorough but quick in snow removal. We selected Mr. Neigebauer because of his great Angie's List reviews, but based on our experience, we definitely echo the favorable sentiments. We look forward to working with Mr. Neigebauer in the future, and would be happy to serve as a reference for future prospective clients.

He did more of the area than he had in front of the garage and also offered to clean the sidewalks and walkways around the back of the house. He was smiling, friendly and pleasant to be around.

I called David Neigebauer on Christmas Eve, since our condo might have needed help with snow removal on Christmas Day. He was extremely kind, flexible, and committed to helping us out, even at the last minute, even on such a holiday! He came by our condo exactly when promised, and one of the other condo board members was there to let him in. She also was quite impressed with David's caring and professional attitude. David then e-mailed us a thorough quote that same afternoon. Although his price was very reasonable, we didn't hire him, only because our condo board decided we can't afford snow removal service at all. If and when we can, we will definitely be giving David a call.

He shoveled the snow without a plow so it took him a little longer but he was so inexpensive it was worth it. I was very happy with his service and I would use him again.

We were able to make direct telephone contact on the first try, and Dave Neigebauer was very forthright about the work overload everyone was under, but that he would get by the subject property and estimate the cost and would get the job done no later than the next day and may still get to it the same day, 2/3/11. He did get to the property later that day and he and his crew did the snow removal work in the early evening hours of the same day. Our neighbors, who were the neighboring driveway and shared the expense, had been homebound and stranded since the snows began, were as appreciative as we were in the responsiveness and professionalism that Mr. Neigebauer and his employees displayed in very difficult circumstances.
