The furnace was installed in July 2018. When we first used the furnace in November 2018 it worked for a week or two and then stopped working. The same team came to our house, and the said it wasn’t working because of the thermostat. They were able to get the unit to work, but a few months later, the furnace stopped working again. These issues continued to happen until Nov 2020. We brought in another firm to service our unit. They were able to confirm that the unit was not installed the right way. I called Tom and Tim to inform them of the news in hopes that they would do the right thing. Tim told me to stop calling and then cursed at me over the phone. If you want poor craftsmanship and zero performance, use this awful firm.

Tom and colleagues at Midtown Mechanical have serviced our heating, A/C, and some plumbing needs for several years (6-8?). Service was always quick, cordial, and effective, so I strongly recommend these guys.

Mr. Walker tricked me into installing the wrong boiler. The result placed myself and tenants at risk of asphyxiation by carbon monoxide. Mr. Walker knowingly installed a boiler that required a chimney, when there was no chimney to be used. Then disabled the safety mechanism that shuts the boiler down in the presence of a carbon monoxide. After lots of effort, Mr. Walker and I agreed to a less than ideal, however amicable resolution and then he fell through on his end of the deal.

Appointment was made for a specific time, not a time range, which was nice, and the appointment was made for the very near future, which was nice. But they never showed up and never called, nothing.
