We suspected mold in our master bathroom bathroom. Since we had to remove the drywalls above the tub, there was no escape from replacing the tiles in the bathroom. Given that the sink, utility cabinets, mirror, lights and other items were originally installed in the 60's, it was also an opportunity to replace those. However, our budget was very limited.We hired Mid city to do the demolition, and rebuild the bathroom. I was extremely impressed by the meticulous preparation and demolition work: They took great care to minimize the dust, noise and in general, the mess that is involved when you take off the dry walls of a room in the middle of your condo apartment.Fortunately, it turned out that that bathroom did not have mold. Mid city recommended, and installed green walls, and then proceeded to put the tiles, new cabinets, mirror etc. The result was so good we asked them to do our second bathroom - where they actually did find mold - so it was a good idea. In both rooms they spraied the pipes behind the drywalls before installing those, and making sure that the new construction lasts.Throughout the project, Mid City took great care to keep our apartment clean and organized. entrances to other rooms and the kitchen were blocked with sheets of clear plastic, and the floors were covered with protective paper. The entire project took about two weeks - which included drying time, at a price that we were very comfortable with.Mid City has done other projects for us over the years, and the quality of work is consistently high, while their prices are very reasonable. They demonstrate great care with the property, and take pride in their craftsmanship.
