Damaged my glass shower door, refused to own up to the mistake or offer any remedies, terminated the relationship with them Used them for about 4 months of cleaning with no issues and 1 problem comes up and they refuse to offer any solutions and claim it is entirely the owner's fault Just poor customer service experience overall and very dissapointing

Very disappointing. On multiple occasions the kitchen floor had clearly not even been swept or cleaned. I had them come back once to redo it, but that was a hassle. And they sent back the same crew hat did a lossy job the frost time. They appeared to only be cleaning half the house on each visit and even then, the rooms hey d Len were not do well. They told me that they would only change the sheets on one bed - and asked which one i wanted them to do. There were spots of drywall dust in a few rooms that I intentionally left to see if they would vacuum it up or dust it off. They never did. .. Regularly I found myself cleaning the microwave or stovetop after they visited. Frequently, I was emptying the garbage after they left. Regarding punctuality, they committed to mid-day Thursdays. This worked out well because my kids were in school. But they started showing up at 4:00 pm n Thursday! Since my two little kids eat inner at 5pm...that jut didn't work. I called them once to remind them of this arrangement and the following week the crew arrived on time. But again this week, they arrived at 4pm. I sent them away and now am very excited to find a new service through Angie 's List!

Rude and defiant when challenged. Avoid!

Customer service must be a foreign concept to the Merry Maids franchise. I hired them after not being pleased with another cleaning service. A representative came to my home and conducted a walkthrough with me so that I could point out areas of particular concerns, areas where the staff should be more cautious, etc. I was told the staff would have a special cleaning solution for my granite countertops and another special solution for my stainless steel appliances. I was also impressed by the seeming attention to detail the Merry Maids staff would bring to the cleaning of my condo. This joy was quickly erased following the first cleaning. Despite pointing out areas where the staff should be extra diligent in cleaning, such as the showers in both the Master bath and the guest bath, they appeared to only have been glossed over in the cleaning. I decided to give them one more chance before complaining, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Another mistake. I happened to come home while the staff was still cleaning. It appeared as though they had only arrived a few minutes before I did. I observed as one of them cleaned my kitchen. There was no special cleaning solution for my granite countertops or my stainless steel appliances - unless Merry Maids considers glass cleaner special enough to use on both surfaces. Also, because I arrived earlier than they expected me to, the cleaning staff decided to NOT clean certain rooms in order to leave as soon as possible. I called Merry Maids to complain once the staff left and received a lukewarm reaction. No offer of a discount since the cleaning was incomplete, no real apology for the "bill of goods" I was sold when I signed up for that clearly were not delivered. I encourage you to just stay away - Unless you enjoying paying someone NOT to do the job.

They were great. They sent a customer service representative to give me an estimate. He went through all possible options of what they could do and explained the products they were going to use. We agreed on a set of services, scheduled a time for them to come. The cleaners called to fix a time but they were late by 2 hours which would have been annoying had I not been working from home. They were very nice, very efficient. The two of them did a really good job of cleaning within 2 hours that ideally would have taken me 2 days. It was a great value for the cost.

They did a phenomenal job. They were very thorough and they made sure to clean everything well. They brought their own supplies and we would hire them again if we needed their services again.

I think they did a decent job, but their supplies dripped on my carpet and left me with more cleaning to do. For the cost, I found them very expensive. I would not use them again.

The price I was charged was just the initial price. The price would change if I use them on a regular basis. I was a first time customer. They were very helpful to me. They brought their own vacuum cleaner and they used their own products.

I was signed up for them to come every two weeks. They were supposed to come at 11:00 AM They would never come at the same time, anywhere from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM! Qualify of work, only average. Once, they spilled dirty water from mopping my kitchen all over my oriental rug. I tipped very, very well, but still work only average and they are expensive to begin with.

I used this service because I was given a gift certificate. The quality of work was very satisfactory and the crew was very polite and professional, but the price was too high based on experiences with other cleaners. The crew of two cleaned the kitchen, living/dining room, staircase and two bathrooms. This covered a total of about 900 square feet and the job took two hours. Only use the company's web site form if you are not in a rush; it took 5 business days for a response.
