Called at 10am; by 1pm the work was completed. Could not have been easier or faster -- really a great experience. Small detail: I really appreciate it when service people and technicians remove their shoes before coming into your home without being asked (like Mega did). I called on a Friday and got a voicemail. I left a message and an individual called me back within ten minutes. I scheduled for the noon the following Monday. On Monday I received a call from the company telling me that the locksmith was running about thirty minutes late; it happens but I appreciated the heads-up. The locksmith arrived within the thirty minutes quoted to me. He apologised and got right to work. I gave him a quick tour and told him what I wanted. A little over two hours later the locksmith completed the work. He was friendly, quiet in his work and left my home clean.

Service man came within hour of our call. Worked quickly and obviously knew what he was doing. Would definately use again.

They were excellent. I sent them an initial email inquiry for a scheduled appointment and they responded in about 60 seconds. I didn't even need them for a few days, but they would have been able to come whenever we needed. They were on time and completed the work in an appropriate amount of time. Eric quickly determined that we needed new speakers as everything in the intercom box had been coroded. He was also able to remove the cylinders on our front gate that were serving no purpose. He even went the extra mile to buff out the sharp edges so our young kids could play with them. I would highly recommend these guys as they are highly professional and do great work.

I live in a 16 unit condo building. I was the only one having trouble with my intercom - the buzzer was barely audible and the speaker volume was non-existent. I called a service we had previously used before, to set up an appointment. After being told that a technician would call me with an appointment time and waiting 4 days for a call that never came, I went to Angie's List. I settled on Mega Locksmith due to the good reviews and proximity to my house. I called on a Friday morning and left my number with the receptionist. I got a call back w/in 15 minutes! They were able to come out later that afternoon, but I had to go to work. Since I already had a dishwasher repairman coming out the following Monday afternoon, I asked if they had an open time slot then. We set the time for 2 pm. At approximatley 1:45pm on Monday, I got a call from the serviceman (Justin or Lucas - sorry, I should have wrote your name down. For the sake of this report, I'll call him Justin), letting me know he was out front. In order to diagnose the problem, Justin sent me outside to ring the buzzer. I came back and and he took the cover off the speaker. Justin was able to figure out the problem right away. I needed a new intercom station. He went outside to his truck, came back in with the proper part and finished up. After testing it to make sure everything worked, I paid him and he was on his way. All within 15 minutes! If I was more electrically inclined, I probaly could have ordered the part and replaced it myself, but I've learned from previous mistakes...leave what you don't know to the pros. If/when anyone else in the building needs service on their intercom, I will pass on Mega's business card. Great service!

The deadbolt lock to my back door had gotten increasingly sticky, and finally the key sheared off inside it. A representative came to my house within a few hours of my call, took the lock apart, took the half-key out, cleaned the lock and put it back - much less expensive than replacing the lock altogether as I had supposed would be necessary. It now works great. Swift, courteous, effective, and cost-effective service! I am very pleased.

We had a good experience. Ami was our technician and he was very respectful of our home, neat, curteous, efficient, quick and professional. He was very knowledgeable. We had asked him to give us a quote on changing a door lock. He was willing to do it and had all the necessary supplies, we opted not to have it done but his willingness to do the work was great on short notice. We will recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Good! Tech was thorough and knowledgeable. Only issue is prices are too high.

Mega came out the same day at about 5pm and stayed until at least 8:30 the first day troubleshooting the problem. They had to come back a second day to fix it but charged no additional fees, replacing the intercom speaker & buttons in addition to fixing the short causing the problem. I'd use them again in a heartbeat !

Showed up ON TIME! Very polite and professional. Needed to get some parts. Returned when promised. This is one of the best service companies I have ever work with. This company proves that excellent service and professionalism is alive and well. I almost wish that some of my locks give me trouble so I can call them back! Five stars. Marty Straus

They came out and did the work at night. They did four locks. I liked the fact that they were prompt. They came when they said. They called when they delayed. They also put in good work hours.

I originally has for an estimate to see how much it would cost to replace my intercom system. The tech told me that it would be cheaper to repair the existing unit. Save me hundereds of dollars and its fully functional. I'd use them again.

They came within 2 days of my call. They replaced the lock and gave me 2 keys, and they ended up replacing the back door knob. The price seemed somewhat expensive, but I couldn't get anyone else to come out to change the mailbox lock (I lost the original key so wanted the lock replaced). My only real complaint was that the service person left all of the back door lock hardware on my back porch instead of disposing of it, or even telling me.

I sent an e-mail requesting an estimate. I got a quick reply. I made the appointment. The technician was friendly and made no mess. He was done quickly and the price was what I was quoted.

Overall Mega Lockmith provided an easy solution for me and did an excellent job. I would recommend them. The quality of the installation is good and the product seems excellent.

I will definitely keep Mega Locksmith company as one of my favorites and I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs a locksmith. They came and did what they were hired to do without even trying to sell me a bunch of other things! I called them to change the lock to a high security on our front door, and they did it in less than 30 minutes from the time he arrived. They even re-set the latch in the doorknob that wasn't catching properly on the backdoor. I?m impressed.

Mega came out to the condo building in February to repair the intercom and buzzer which had stopped working. The condo paid $55 for the service charge and $65 for labor, for a total of $120. The work was 'guaranteed' for 90 days. When the intercom stopped working shortly thereafter, they were called back to fix that part of the system. Unfortunately, the did not, in my opinion, honor the guarantee, and we were charged an additional $75 for the new speaker. They are responsive and came out quickly. They did say they would be here in 20 minutes, and after an hour were not here, but they were easily reached by phone to confirm they would be here soon, and then were here within another 5 minutes. The worker did do good work, so I would use them again.

He was right one time, and identified the issue with-in seconds. Some of the buttons were bad and needed to be replaced, which he had on hand to switch out. He also recommended that we replace them all, since the others would go bad too probally sooner than later, better to swith them out now for $10 a button. Than to pay another $115 for a service call and a hour of work to replace $10 buttons. Very honest and professional. We will recommend them to our family and friends.

We need a gate for better security so the welding company built the structure. I called Eric and he came out after hours and gave me an estimate as well as the most efficient way to extend our buzzer system onto the gate and install the new locks. He arrived on separate occasions to show the welder where the make the space for the strike plate and how to increase security on the gate by installing a security mesh and door closer. he then came out on saturday morning and completed his work. His estimate was right on and he did excellent quality work.
