Terrible. There is no reason on earth for someone to act so vulgar.

I asked the company to send me a technician to change locks for the mailbox.. the person who answered was very polite and very prompt in sending the technician.. I had a technician over within an hour of the phone call. The service technician, Ami was extremely nice and performed the work in a very prompt fashion. I was very satisfied with their services and will certainly use them if need arises in future.

Try to bargain prices with them. They are somewhat responsive.

Someone came within 45 minutes of my call and did not charge extra for quick service. He not only replaced the lock and gave me a copy of the same key, but he replaced the handle on the door because it was about to fall off. He was very nice and very professional.

MEGA was very flexible in scheduling a time to come to our building and give us an estimate on the work needed to be performed. Once we received the quote they were able to get the work done the same day and it was done quickly and with good quality. MEGA even included some additional parts for free since it was not in the original quote but was found during installation.

Overall I think Mega's workmanship is good, though the scheduling and punctuality created a bit of frustration as someone who's working and needed to take time off work to schedule the repair. Mega unfortunatley started off on a bad foot with a scheduleding discrepancy. When I was waiting at home and it looked like they were going to be late I called and asked if they were on their way and the workman replied, "Yes, I'll be right there," and was about to hang up the phone when I stopped him and asked, "Do you know where I'm calling from?" and he replied, "Yeah, XYZ Broadway." That wasn't even my address! 45 minutes late, the workman arrived. He worked efficiently once on-site, and fixed our building's buzzer, pointing out a problem that had been ignored by previous repairmen, which was very helpful. I am hopeful this intervention will save us future repairs. Mega was able to contract with a welder to fix an ongoing problem with our gate, though the scheduling on this was also a little uncertain. (Said they'd come probably one day and didn't, but came the next - fortunately I didn't need to be home, so this might have been why the scheduling was a little more lax.) They did a neat and tidy job putting a surround around our buzzer system to protect it from the elements. I really appreciated this. The internal lock changes were straightforward, $30 per lock. There were wires poking out of the buildling from a previous buzzer and I'd asked them if they could clean that up. The guy kind of shrugged his shoulders and told me I could do it myself. I really wish that he would have done it for me, but I think we had bit of a language problem as well as technical understanding on my part. He kept on telling me I could do it and I kept on asking him if he could. I really don't know how to cut wires and don't want to risk myself doing something wrong! This was a little frustrating. After he explained it to me twice (and I still didn't get what he was saying) I gave up.

We found the work was done well and the price seemed reasonable. Our main complaint is that we originally called for service on Saturday and no one from the company showed up. We called when at 30/60/90 minutes late and were told he was still on the way. It was only after 2 hours that we were told he was not going to show up. However, we were given 15% discount to make up for the missed call.

Although the agent seemed friendly and knowledgeable on the phone, everything changed from the moment he showed up. He was at least a half hour late (which was not that big of a deal since he was willing to see me the same day I called) But, he did not listen to a word I said or what I explained to him what I wanted. He basically told me what I had to do and would not listen to my input at all. The experience was uncomfortable, and there is nothing I hate more than a serviceman who doesn't listen and tells you this is the way it has to be. There are always multiple ways to do any job. He obviously didn't want to take my route because it would mean allot more work. I told him I did not like my old door and wanted it replaced; he insisted that I keep it. I told him that I wanted a metal frame, he told me that is unnecessary. I don't care if it is unnecessary, that's what I want and I am paying for it! Anyway, the entire experience was terrible and I will never use this company again. Oh and in addition the brand new lock I bought and wanted to use he told me was no good and that I should use one of his locks. I told him I really wanted to use the lock I purchased because it had some high tech features that I really wanted. He was borderline insulting when he told me that the lock I bought was no good without giving very much explanation. I don't know how this company has so many good remarks. Maybe we just had a personality clash or maybe it was my behavior because I have bad insomnia and didn't sleep the night before. All I Know is everything I wrote above is factual so you can decide for yourself if you want to hire this serviceman.

I called the company. The technician called me back immediately and said he would be at my house in a half an hour. He was there exactly a half an hour later and removed lock within 5 minutes.

The locksmith who came out was on time and professional, and I was pleased with his work. For a reason not related to the original work done, the locks later had to be re-keyed, and the owner called to make sure that I was happy with the work. He even gave me a discount on the 2nd job, which was nice because I thought the first job was a little expensive. The price is the only reason that I didn't give this company an A rating.

My husband interacted with them. He said that they were fine except they tried to change the quoted price once they got here. He's a trade man too and he can hold people for their work. They charged $250 for part and labor. We would probably not work with them again in the future.

Mega came out 4 hours after my initial call. Mega stayed in touch with me to give me an arrival time. I received very professional service and Ben explained why the lock needed to be replaced. Ben also tried the new key and lock himself, made some adjustments, then had me use the new key & lock. I would recommend Mega to everyone & am very happy with the service I received.

My husband's keys were stolen on a Saturday afternoon. We needed all the house locks re-pinned immediately. I called Mega locksmith after looking at Angie's list and they were at my home within a half hour. Lukas and Ziggy were professional, polite and efficient. We have an older house and older locks, but they were still able to pull it off and prevent us from buying all new locks for the house. We were able to feel safe in our home that night. I was thoroughly impressed with Mega Locksmith and would recommend them highly!

Mega showed up with very little notice on a weekend and performed the work as needed. They were expensive but they were the only ones able to respond on short notice. I would use them again.

Mega said they would arrive to do the work at 9:00 A.M. or shortly after. At 10:30, when I had not heard from them, I called and was told they would be along in about 45 minutes. At noon, I called again, and was told they were on their way and that I would be getting a discount for my trouble. They didn't actually arrive until about 12:30, but once their locksmith finally arrived, the work was completed professionally and in a reasonable amount of time.

They were prompt, courteous, described the nature of problem and what they were going to do to rectify it and were done within an hour. I have just realized that I forgot to show my 10% off coupon - I must have been that happy with things.

I always hope service providers are efficient and reasonably priced. Mega hits both of met and exceeded these marks.

The locksmith arrived on time in a very clean van that was clearly marked with the company name. The job was performed in a timely and professional manner. I will recommend and continue to use this company for future jobs.

They came out right away. Changed the locks on my doors. Did it at a competitive price and quickly. Their cleanup was fantastic. I am sending them over to my mother's house.

There have been some issues with scheduling, but their work has turned out well. I use locksmiths quite a bit, and they are as good as any. Also, their price for the buzzer repair was about $70 cheaper compared to others.

Emailed for a quote to repair a lock on our back door – the response was very fast, price was reasonable/comparable. Good start! Was quoted $55 for service call, $65 for labor, and a new lock starting at $35. Then I phoned to set up an appointment– guy was brusque and borderline rude but maybe he was just having a bad day? For our appointment, the technician was 20 minutes late and I had to call to find out where he was (would have appreciated a call from them as a heads up that they were running late). But we ended up not being charged for the service call in the end – not sure how that happened. Also, the locksmith offered to take off his shoes - that is a BIG one in our book just b/c we have small kids so we really appreciate it. Turns out the lock was loose not broken – took five minutes to fix. But not complaining because we’re not handy people and would rather an expert look at it than fiddle with it ourselves. All in all, we would most likely call them again - despite the punctuality problem, they seemed to know what they were doing, price was fair, and they were pretty responsive.
