Description of Work: Our Security Gate had been pushed in and caused it to jam, during the night, so Angie's list gave me Mega Locksmith who came out with quick action, (it was bitter cold that day) and they gave us an estimate along with 10% discount,they repaired it and were able to use the same lock so we needn't had to get new keys. They had to torch off the old set-up in the frigid temps, yet they did it greatly for our lasting security.

Description of Work: This was a difficult intercom/entrance gate repair project, because it had been out of service for several years. I felt not many companies had the knowledge, components, and ability to tackle this "small" job, but Mega did. The original estimate was as good as they could tell - before they got into the job and saw what else was damaged or worn out. They kept the cost in check by doing only what was necessary, so the final bill was in the range of the estimate. Many companies in the area can replace & rekey locks - but you need to look hard and long for a company that will repair a 12 year old intercom system and not overcharge in the process. Maga Locksmith and Security is that company!

Description of Work: Called for repair service, but they said they do not serve Lake County. However, their profile states "entire area". Obviously, this is incorrect.

Description of Work: Horrible and unprofessional! They made me wait over an hour outside in a storm for a tech that I was repeatedly told would "be there any minute". When he called 50 mins. late, he had gone to the wrong address 2miles away. Instead of offering a discount for this unprofessional mistake he decided to go home since he thought he "was too far away". Yeah, I would like to go home too but I've been waiting for this jerk outside for an hour and a half. If you're going to he unprofessional, just don't lie about it. I could've called another company who takes service seriously and been inside an hour ago instead of waiting for these jerks. So disrespectful!

Description of Work: A little pricey, but here in 1/2 an hour, shut down a door that was being accessed by unauthorized tenants. Prompt, friendly & professional. We will defiantly use the again.
