+ -1 moreI got an initial estimate from them quickly, but then nothing. I asked for an updated estimate that did not include the $35/week mowing (which I didn't ask for) and never heard back. I gave up after sending 2 emails and calling over the course of a week.

They are good people who are prompt and efficient. They take care of the bushes and shrubs. They are on time every week and they work quickly and efficiently.

Description of Work: They were hired to maintain my mother's corner lot house/property (i.e. cut grass, clean, weed, fertilize, aerate, grub control, trim bushes/shrubs, etc) on a weekly basis. They simply did not show up the first 2 weeks of the contract. The office was surprised when I asked them for a refund. Crews would show up when it was convenient for them, never when they were scheduled to work. Crews refused to provide all the services contracted for. When contract shown to crew/leader, they claim they didn't have time or disrespectfully dismissed my mother. Healthy plants, instead of weeds were regularly removed. Numerous phone calls and appointments went unanswered and ignored. Cancelled contract on July 18, 2014. Received/deposited a refund check for the remaining 1/2 of my contract. Was informed yesterday, August 6th, by my bank that check bounced. No one answered the phone at the main office. My messages were never returned.

+ -1 moreDo not waste your time trying to get ahold of them since they do not even answer their phone! They just stopped coming, despite my having a written service agreement because they said my card was declined but that is not the case because I had the receipt they mailed me saying the services were paid for! Terribly disorganized. And just a mess to deal with. Move on. Choose another company to mow your lawn.
Description of Work: I just fired Medina Lawncare after they served my building for several years. They just stopped shoring, despite my arranging a seasonal service order, because they said my credit card was declined. I had to call them repeatedly to see why they were not coming as scheduled. Low and behold, they charged my card and it was not declined! They said they would try to have someone out on Friday and on Monday at the latest. Monday comes and goes and no service. Called and left a voicemail -again- but they never answer their phone and they do not return messages. I am going now with a new service. Goodbye Medina. It takes a lot to lose my business but congrats2: you just did.

Description of Work: They dug out the stump that remained after the city cut down our 100yr old tree. The "stump" ended up being the entire parkway and took five men at least five hours. They also graded the parkway and our backyard lawn and sodded both lawns. We also contracted with them for lawn care for the remainder of the http://www.yelp.com/sf. A few billing problems but the work was spot on. We did not use them this year for lawn are because they raised the prices much higher than we feel is correct for the size of our property and we were not offered a discount as repeat customers

+ -1 moreMy experience was not the greatest. I had asked them to put down fertilization and I didn't think it looked like that had been done. They staff was fairly friendly and professional. I found the pricing to be a little high. They were not as punctual as I had hoped for them to be. I would not recommend Eand L Landscaping to others.

+ 0 moreOur Association contracted with Medina for our courtyard planting/maintenance, ongoing upkeep of the courtyard and snow removal. After the initial work was completed (about $3,000) their on-going service deteriorated . They missed scheduled visits, lost our keys, and had their service workers bang on our front window (multiple times) to get into the courtyard to perform their work. When I would call the office to speak to owner's wife - I would be given a variety of excuses as to why she wasn't available. My phone messages would go unreturned. I finally called to cancel my service and ask for my keys to be returned only to be told that ..."they have many keys and it will take some time for them to determine which key belongs to my property". Needless to say I am not counting on the keys ever being returned. I would not recommend this company to anyone - ever.
