+ -1 morehese folks were warriors. The stump of the tree(an ancient american ash) had spread so that the entire tree lawn under the grass was roots. It took forever to grind down the wood so that we could ultimately have a tree lawn at sidewalk level. The tree roots had raised the sidewalk so that a mound existed on the tree lawn that was 18" high in the area around the tree. The entire lawn was well above the grade of the sidewalk. They then returned and sodded the tree lawn, removed the ratty grass in the back yard, added and amended the soil and resodded the back yard also. Because our lawn mover was ancient, we could not cut the grass the varying lengths that they instructed over the ensuing six weeks, so we hired them also for lawn care. And because they were so efficient and good, we kept them on for the remainder of the year. On the billing side, there were a few mix-ups but there were easily straightened out. Our only "problem" was that the people we dealt with varied and moved on so that contacting the appropriate person and phone number was sometimes problematic. The cost of lawn service has increased this year so we may not use the same service. We would definitely use them again, however, if we ever needed tree or stump removal.
Description of Work: Removed an enormous "stump", which ended up encompassing the entire tree lawn and which took at least five hours, resodded the front yard and back yard and continued to come for the remainder of the year to service our lawns.
