Description of Work: Martins came out and gave us some wonderful_x000D_|Design ideas on remodeling our kitchen. He asked a lot of questions and got to know us a bit so he could give us_x000D_|Custom kitchen ideas tailored to us. While he did not do the_x000D_|3D design for us, he did stay longer and gave us wonderful_x000D_|Ideas for the whole house. Very professional, knowledgeable, and thinks outside the box. Recomemend.

Description of Work: Martins Buka came to our house to install a pendant from the ceiling, but he didn't feel comfortable using the hooks that we provided. Therefore he recommended another hook and said that we can easily do it ourselves. So I went to Home Depot and did it myself, no big deal. He said they are happy to refund our coupon, but we have to go through Angie's List first. I replied to "Jonathan V" about the Big Deal Refund Request on October 29th, but I never heard back. I reached out again and spoke with "Jake J" yesterday. He sad I will get that refund after I complete the link he sent me.

Description of Work: Martins did return call and came for an estimate. Waiting on the estimate and will update.

Description of Work: Purchased the deal. Contacted the service provider via email on 02/05/2013. He did respond in kind, promptly and indicated he was out of town until 02/25/2013, and would not be able to schedule until the first week in March, 2013. I would not have purchased this deal had I know that particular time frame. I have already purchased and used another service provider in the meantime.

Description of Work: Installed washer and dryer hook-ups.

Description of Work: The deal was for winterization of windows and doors but the windows didn't need much after all. Still, Martins added some insulation to a few window joints and the back door. When he noticed how difficult it was to open the front door, he spent an additional hour to fix those problems. He was more concerned about it than I was and made sure that it was a perfectly functioning door by the time he left. We also talked quite a bit about some remodeling work I was thinking of for my fireplace and kitchen. He had great ideas and suggestions -- I will definitely be following up with him on those two projects, which is his real forte. Beyond the professional work, the best part was Martins himself. He's very personable and interesting to talk with. And when I wanted to pay him more since the work done was beyond the scope of the Angie's List deal, he declined and said "Just pay it forward...do something more for someone else." I will be contacting him again for sure!

Description of Work: Mr. Bucka replaced the wood in a window seat in my home. He was punctual and did a very good job.

Description of Work: I had to have a wood octagon window hung on the loft level of my garage and the screen had to be secured to the interior frame. Mr. Buka secured my window and made corrections to the frame to make the window fit properly. A two by four was attached to the garage to facilitate hanging yard tools. Suggestions were made as to the maintenance to ensure the window lasts a long time.

Description of Work: I used MB Design and Build to paint my deck. He also gave me the name of two guys for carpentry work.
