MAX GERBER INC

The faucet was defective. After calling the company 4 or 5 times in a 2 month period of time. I was giving the phone number of the faucet company's rep. who sent out another faucet. I had a lic. plumber (from Angie's List) come out 2 times at $45 PER visit and $90 per hour. Once to install a defective faucet and once to take out the defective faucet and put in the new one. The Max Gerber Inc. sales person was nice but was ineffective in resolving a problem with a faucet I purchased. I took the defective faucet back to Max Gerber Inc. and explained the problem to another employee. He stated he would tell the comptroller and would be contacted. It has been over a month and no contact. I purchased the faucet from Max Gerber Inc. and they did not stand behind a product they sold. All this left a very poor impression of Max Gerber Inc.

I have found it delightful working with Dawn at Max Gerber. Not only did I receive her undivided attention, but I believe I received a fair price for high quality plumbing fixtures. Max Gerber sources most all of the manufacturer brands I was looking at, and Dawn paid specific attention to my budget when helping me select everything from sinks, to faucets, to toilets, to the rough in plumbing. I can't speak more highly of her. What I find interesting is that the owner of the company would often make comments while I was there trying to sell me the more expensive product - even when it was not in my best interest. Dawn always kept my best interests in mind and that is why she got my business. They have been flexible with delivery and scheduling and have provided all of the specification information I need to work with my contractors to complete the project.
