Answered all questions without being impatient. Talked my wife and myself through whole process afterwards to make sure we were satisfied and knew how to use the heater.

Matthew was dedicated to complete the job that I hired him to do. I had already hired two other people to fix a hot tub that was not functioning in a home that I purchased. The others did not succeed. I hired Matthew for a full day to either fix it, or take it out. He did his best to trace the leak, but the hot tub was sunken into an outdoor porch and that required cutting the floor. He assured me he could fix the floor around it and we went for it. He determined that there were multiple leaks, which was not an easy task with all that foam! After several hours we mutually agreed it was time to take it out. He did the demo of the hot tub, hauled away the scraps and then I hired him to replace the space in the porch where the tub had been with a new wood floor. That job took longer than a day, but Matthew stayed committed until the job was done to my satisfaction. A genuinely nice guy, an honest business man and he performs quality work according to the customers expectations. I would definitely recommend hiring Matthew. He knows what hes doing and does it well. Thank you again, Matthew!

Matthew was incredibly responsive, returning calls and texts almost immediately. He came when he said he would,and he stayed until the issues were resolved. After so many prior mediocre experiences with spa companies who paid little attention to responsiveness, Matthew was a breath of fresh air.

After a rather frustrating experience with a newly installed Steam Spa unit - which was consistently showing an EO error code on the control panel. We called several contractors with no one keeping the appointment or calling us back. We were beyond blessed to contact Matthew at Matthew Does Pools. Matthew showed up the very next day after we contacted him, and immediately started assessing the problem and troubleshooting. Matthew's professional and critical approach allowed him to pinpoint the issue (s), and got our Steam Spa unit working seamlessly. Our Jacuzzi Tub was also not turning on and Matthew was able to install a new switch and got our Jacuzzi working as well. We will definitely be calling Matthew Does Pools in the future for repair or installation of necessary equipment in our home. He is professional, courteous , pleasant and efficient. We will also refer him to our friends as someone who is very adept at troubleshooting and able to resolve problem issues THANK you - Matthew Does Pools ! He could have e been neater with caulk job but otherwise they did a fantastic job I would definitely recommend them for your hot tub project

Came over right away after I purchased the pump for our hot tub. Knowledgeable with electric had a breaker issue as well.

Overall, Matthew got the job done, and I believe saved me money. He was not able to get there at the time planned, but it is the busy season for spa repair and pool shut downs,... and the last guy I used for repair wouldn't even respond to calls or texts, so I was glad to have Matthew responding and getting it done. He worked late into the first evening in the light rain (Saturday night), and diagnosed a bad pump. Was able to find a pump in a day or two, and have it dropped off at my house. He was back the following Sunday to install. Ended up spending the entire afternoon getting the pump in and tracking down a leak. Turns out there was also an issue with the control board in my 10 year old tub, but Matthew was able to install a switch to save me the expense of replacing a $500 + control board. The tub works great now.. I enjoyed it last night! Matthew went above and beyond to get the job done without costing me a fortune, so I'm pleased. :) Thanks Matthew!

He was prompt and professional. Had a good sense of humor.

Hired him to fix a leak in our hot tub. Matthew told my wife that he would be there at 3:45 PM. He texted at 7:40 PM and showed up at 8 PM with no apology for the long delay. He overfilled the hot tub, could not find the leak so he decided to put silicon over the control pad and around the filter, which looks horrible. (I wish I could attach the pictures). When he said he had completed the job and got paid, he left without cleaning up his mess and left a bucket with 10 screws he never put back into the hot tub panels.

Matthew was punctual & very professional...great job. I plan on contacting him in Spring for my pool opening.
