+ -1 moreVery well!!! Maria is extremely observant and tuned-in to her clients. Her goal is for her clients to find a home that fits their needs for space, features, area, and price. She is well organized, knowledgeable about the market, and has a strong network of resources she can tap if she needs more information. For example one buyer's offer bordered on mortgage fraud, and Maria knew whom to ask about it. I like the fact that she was available when I had questions. I was also impressed that from the very beginning she was able to establish a time line in a very difficult real estate market, and stick to it! The closing was off by a month, but that was only because the buyer had complicated financing and kept asking for extensions. Both the attorney and I were pessimistic about the deal closing, but Maria saved the day when she gave part of her commission to get us past a sticking point. I can't say enough good things about her.
Description of Work: Sold my nondescript condo in a so-so area and helped me buy a new condo. Met with me to discuss market survey, staging (though she was very low key about that), and helped establish a realistic time line for the sale/purchase. Maria mailed postcards, had an open house, and showed the condo numerous times. We priced the condo based on the market survey and adjusted the price as she carefully monitored listings in my area. We also added a parking area, which increased the number of showings and offers. Maria's advice about how to handle the four offers I received within a 3-month period was invaluable, and when I was ready to give up on the woman who ended up buying the condo, Maria kept looking for ways to make the deal go forward. Thank goodness for her! I found my mortgage lender, attorney, and home inspector through her, and all of them were excellent as well. Maria helped me negotiate a $3500 credit on the condo I bought, which I absolutely love.
