Description of Work: Nice people but the design was nothing spectacular and it wasn't what we expected. It looked like a pencil drawing on a napkin which was not helpful at all for us as we were trying to choose tile colors and patterns. | |Their quote was more than double the other 3 quotes we received. | |Again very nice people just not for us.

+ -1 moreOverall we are very happy with how our kitchen turned out. Matt Lederer was very accommodating and easy to work with. His crew was efficient and very prompt each day. Even the Kraftmaid rep who had to come out one day commented on what a great job the Mahogany crew did in installing the cabinets. They kept to the overall time-line despite some additional work we asked them to do. Overall very pleased with the work.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen remodel. Demo of old, and installation of new Cabinets, Floors, Walls, Electrical etc. plus some minor work in bathroom and bedroom.

+ -1 moreThe quality of the work is excellent. I am extremely picky and so I stressed that I am a perfectionist when interviewing contractors. The owner supervised his staff closely and ensured that all the work was precisely done to my specifications. He also had suggestions that were useful. When I was having a hard time choosing the shade of red I wanted, the owner painted several large squares on the wall for me to see in various lights in order to determine the appropriate color. The employees showed up on time, sealed off areas of the house to prevent dust spread, and cleaned up after themselves. Work was done on time and came in at the estimate.
Description of Work: They installed a tin ceiling, painted my textured plaster walls red (not an easy color), added molding trim to existing cabinets, stripped wood on chair rails and re-stained, installed under cabinet and above cabinet lighting, reattached hardware for a transom window, and installed a blower fan exhaust pipe in my kitchen.

+ -1 moreMR. LEDERER WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH, VERY RESPONSIVE IN ORGANIZING, AND PERFORMING THE WORK. HE CUSTOMIZED SEVERAL ASPECTS OF THE CABINETRY, FLOORING INSTALLATIONS, AND WAS VERY REASONABLE IN PRICE. THE RESULTS ARE EXCELLENT.
Description of Work: Install granite counter, and backsplash in kitchen; custom cabinetry, and a wood floor in a bedroom.

THEY BROKE DOWN THE PROCESS, FROM DESIGN TO CONSTRUCTION TO PAINTING AND WALKED US THROUGH ALL THE DECISIONS WE HAD TO MAKE. THEIR CREW WAS PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THEY SHOWED UP EVERYDAY ON TIME, WORKED A FULL 10 HOUR DAY, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES BEFORE THEY LEFT. AND THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS AWESOME! THEY TOOK THE TIME TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT AND THAT ALL THE DETAILS WERE TAKEN CARE OF. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WORK THEY DID.
Description of Work: THEY DID A TOTAL GUT JOB OF OUR KITCHEN AND BATH. DEMOLISHED WHAT WAS THERE, CARRIED IT ALL OUT TO THE TRASH, DID ALL THE CONSTRUCTION FROM PLUMBING, TO WOOD WORK, TO ELECTRICAL, HVAC, TO DRYWALL...EVERYTHING. THEY INSTALLED THE CUSTOM CABINETS, AND EVEN MADE MANY SUGGESTIONS WE HADN'T THOUGHT OF.
