I am disappointed that for YEARS this company on a near daily basis violates Chicago Ordinance parking their over 6ft high commercial truck within 20ft of an alley...thus creating a safety hazard to drivers exiting the alley...unable to see the oncoming cross traffic. I pointed this out to the owner and he just gave me major attitude. Unprofessional and poor regard for public safety on display.

Work was done on time and in a timely fashion. Overall they did a good job, especially on the plastering (fixing numerous cracks) in living and dining rooms. Our only criticism is that on some of the small detail areas that may have been hard to see (mostly on sectioned window panes) they forgot to apply a second coat or missed drips that were hard to to see. But they did very well on trim work (we had different colors on ceiling trim. But in all cases these imperfections were corrected when we noticed them.

They were great and did very high quality work. They were very fair in the pricing. They were clean and courteous. The overall experience was positive and I will use their services again in the future.

Fabulous. Albert is very responsive. The painters who worked with us were very professional. The finished product made our condo look fantastic. They also worked with our other contractors to help get us moved in before Christmas - they really went the extra mile. The painters were also very fastidious.

I left a message to set-up an appointment for a quote. My call was promptly returned and I was told that Albert the owner was out of town and would return my call on Monday. Albert called first thing Monday morning as promised and was able to meet the next day to look at the job. He called with his quote 1-day later as promised and was able to re-arrange some of his other projects to meet our timing. We received 4 quotes in total and Albert s was the second best. I appreciated Albert s professionalism and timely responses. We chose to go with another contractor for 2 main reasons: 1) Albert does not consult regarding color selection and 2) we had a strong direct personal reference for a contractor whose price was also in line with Albert s. Overall, I would highly recommend Magic Colors.

ALBERT AND HIS TEAM OF PAINTERS WERE TRUE PROFESSIONALS IN EVERY ASPECT. HIS CREW PERFORMED TO THE HIGHEST LEVELS AND HIS PRICE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL BIDS. I WILL NOT USE ANOTHER PAINTER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE FOR FUTURE PROJECTS. I DO NOT SEE HOW YOU CAN GO WRONG WITH MAGIC COLORS. I WISH I COULD GIVE HIM A HIGHER GRADE THAN AN A.

MAGIC COLORS PAINTED EVERY INTERIOR SURFACE OF OUR NEW HOUSE - ALL WALLS, CEILINGS, DOORS, MOLDING AND TRIM. WE CHOSE THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR METICULOUS WORK ON PAST JOBS, AND THEY DELIVERED AGAIN WITH GREAT WORKMANSHIP AND EXPERT PAINTING. WE HAD A TIGHT SCHEDULE FOR SUCH AN EXTENSIVE JOB BUT ALBERT CAPABLY MANAGED THE PROJECT, MEETING OUR SCHEDULING NEEDS WHILE MAINTAINING THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF WORK. ALBERT'S TALENTED STAFF WERE ALWAYS ON TIME, THEY PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL, AND THEY WORK INCREDIBLY HARD. HIS PRICES ARE VERY FAIR AND THE RESULTS ARE EXCEPTIONAL. HE AND HIS COMPANY HAVE EARNED OUR TRUST, RESPECT AND RECOMMENDATION.

THE PAINTERS WERE ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY ALWAYS CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. EVERYTHING THAT ALBERT PROMISED, HE DELIVERED ON TIME, AND ON BUDGET. WORKMANSHIP WAS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. THE PRICE WAS THE BEST OF THREE ESTIMATES.
