All went extremely well. They are very thorough and conscientious as well as good communicators. I was kept apprised of the progress in a timely manner. They told me when it was worth the price to fix or not. They also are willing to come onsite which makes everything much better as they can see the setup and determine if something onsite could be causing the problem. My iMac was in such bad shape that they couldn't fix it onsite so they took it back to their place, fixed it there, came back and reinstalled it onsite. To me that was a tremendous plus. They are also very well trained and trusted by Apple. The project hasn't been completed yet which is why I can't tell you how much it will cost but their rates are very fair. I have used them in the past and will use them in the future.

Very knowledgeable technicians and very personable, they respond quickly to emails and messages. They explain anything you want to know or nothing if you don't need to know. The price is reasonable and the technicians appear to work efficiently and do not need a lot of input. I will hire them again especially as there are sadly very few Apple repair services available, nice to know the one we have here is great. Their payment system online by credit card is also convenient and very easy to use.

Thank god for MacMD. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. I've had my MacBook Pro for a year and a half, and for most of that time, I'd had wireless network issues. I was constantly bumped off my home wireless, though I never had problems elsewhere. It was ridiculously frustrating, AND perplexing ... and not just to me. My wife's brother is an IT specialist who was repeatedly foiled. I contacted the top-rated computer repairman/organization on this site. That guy was in my home for 3 hours trying a dozen different things, including running out to buy a new router. By his own admission, he was actually making things worse before he reinstalled my old router and GAVE UP. He wanted to charge me 2/3 of his normal rate for DOING NOTHING (effective). I finally negotiated to pay him 1/3. That amount was more than I paid MacMD ... and they actually FIXED the problem. I spoke to Ben on the phone and went over the details of my issue with him. He was more than patient with multiple phone calls, often interrupted by my screaming newborn twins. He insisted on presenting my problem to several people on his staff; he wanted to bounce it off them and get the right fix. He called me back the next day and told me that his employee Bill would be contacting me. Indeed he did, and he was at my home within 3 days of my original call, working for only an hour. He did several things no one else had thought to do, including installing some Mac freeware, which he recommended I run occasionally. He could have fixed my problem without telling me how to fix it myself in the future, so I'd have to call MacMD again and again, but he/they had no interest in gouging me. What's more, I would've gladly paid 3x what he asked. My only reluctance to tip him extravagantly was my disbelief that this repair job would be any more successful than the others. TRUST ME: IT WAS. This may have been the best and most valuable service experience of my life (I'm 45). I haven't had a moment's trouble since (7 months). You can't BELIEVE what that means to me. Seriously: don't bother with anyone else. Call MacMD. You know I will.
