After the tech diagnosed the issue with the AC. It was determined that I needed to run a new line from the AC condenser on the roof to the furnace in the basement. Seeing how the line within the wall was cut. Not sure how that happened but as a service technician myself I have ran plenty of low voltage wire, cable lines, and Cat 5/6 wiring for internet services. After assisting the tech with running the wires. He wants to overcharge me. I asked him if he normally has customers assist with his work and then charge them extra money for there help. And I had to use my own drill to finish the job. I will not be recommending him for anything. Sorry bro you can keep it moving.

THE ACTUAL FIX WAS VERY SIMPLE, TAKING LESS THAN 5 MINUTES TO DO. AND I THOUGHT THE PRICE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BIT LESS. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE OVERALL INTERACTION AND WOULD CALL THEM AGAIN, IF NEEDED.

My only complaint is that it was $60 to come out, which I understand, but other businesses like this would put that $ toward work being done. It ended up costing us $60 and then and additional $230 for the labor and parts,

My experience with Sam from Long Shun very good. He called to schedule his appt and arrived on time. He immediately assessed the problem with my furnace and left to get the part needed and he called several times to keep me informed as to his ability to find the part. But he did manage to find the part needed, came back and installed it and so far it is working fine. Sam was courteous, punctual and overall very professional. This was much appreciated since he came right out and managed to fix th problem on the same day. Thank you Sam for your service

The issue was fixed and the person did not try to up sell me at all since I asked if I should replace entire HVAC system, but they said it was not necessary. It was a little difficult to communicate with the repair man, which led to delays in getting issue fixed. He did not seem to come prepared the first time to fix the problem, but this might just be common.
