Description of Work: We did not use Lindholm. They were very responsive and professional, but use a different roofing material than others used and our Association was a little leary about going with something different.

Description of Work: Replaced two chimneys - great, neat, looks wonderful. New gutters - looks great, but they did not put on a downspout extension that had been there. Instead they took it with them. I called and they came back and installed a new one. New roof - front and back flat roofs with shingled peak in between them. The back flat roof was lifted 1 to 1-1/2 feet in the wind, hinged by the connection to the shingled peak. It was slamming down on the house repeatedly. Called for help at 12 noon. Called again at 1:00 p.m. Problem-solver arrived at 3 p.m. to fix it. He tacked the back flat roof down and told me there wasn't one nail holding it in place. The front flat roof (he showed me) was tacked down. The sides of the back roof were damaged with the roof slamming down. At a later date, the roofer came back and replaced the damaged sections. I had another house reroofed this summer by a different contractor. I found one nail at that house and I had to search for it. This contractor left nails all over and I wasn't looking for them. I stepped on quite a few. They were on my deck and in the yard. They also moved concrete blocks and didn't put them back and they reconnected my hose and left the hose in the grass and still connected. And it took 3 requests before they moved their vehicles so I could get out of the garage. I have another house that I'm planning to reroof next summer, but I probably will not be using this roofer.

Description of Work: Installed siding on all dormers, Installed new roof, Installed new gutters, Installed new fascia board and flashing. Lindholm was very responsive. Provided quotes and call backs in a timely manor. Overall very happy with the service and will use again in the future.

Description of Work: Was not impressed with Lindholm. Buyer of my house hired these guys to inspect the roof. They showed up and took out their ladder and started going up the side of my house. Didn't ring the doorbell or even look to see if anyone was home to ask permission. My three year old asked who was going on the roof, and much to my surprise I opened a window to greet their rep on the second story. "Hi who are you and what are you doing climbing the side of my house?" Very unprofessional.

Description of Work: On a 4-unit vintage condo building that needed a new roof - installed the Duro-Last Roof system. Chris Wheeler, who inspected the roof, was very knowledgeable and explained in detail the work that was needed, and how the Duro-Last System would meet our needs. We had them return in the spring to do some brick tuck-pointing that needed to be done as well (an additional cost). The workers were all very professional in their work.

Description of Work: They did good work but first they did the wrong work and had to correct it. Each time they were not good at notifying us in advance of when they would be at our home. Quality of work was good.

Description of Work: I had a serious leak that was damaging my interior. Lindholm's estimator was the last of those contacted from Angie's List to respond, calling to say he would be out later that day (Saturday). Apparently due to unforeseen (and unexplained) circumstances, he didn't show up until Monday or Tuesday. By then, I was about 80% sure I was going to use a different contractor, but took Lindholm's estimate anyway. It was professionally detailed and fairly priced, but I has content with one of the contractors who had submitted his bid earlier, so I selected him instead.

Description of Work: Our home needed chimney repairs, a roof replacement for an extension and gutter and downspout replacements. They did excellent work and, after a heavy rain, checked to see if everything was water tight. We had some leaking from the corner of the gutters so they came back out and caulked them again. They replaced missing soffit pieces, re-flashed where needed and ran downspouts away from the house to avoid leakage in the basement. We will use them again and recommend them to anyone who wants a professional job at a very reasonable price.

Description of Work: I wrote a previous report about Linholm that was not overly positive and i just wanted to add to that comment. I received two calls with apologies about the delay in being contacted and the roofer came out within a week to provide an assessment. They were courteous and professional and although they were slow at the start, they seem very professional and diligent. I appreciated the service i received from them over the last two weeks.

Description of Work: Provided a quote for a small roof leak that included replacing a flat roof section of approximately 8'x8'. The quote was 30% more than two major competitors (who were within $80 of each other) and offered NO WARRANTY. No warranty?! The other contractors offered one year warranties on their work. Also, the estimator did not seem all that knowledgable of construction compared to the other two estimators.

Description of Work: I contacted Lindholm Roofing (we had used them in the past to do some repair on our roof) to look at a new leak. Mike Huston, Project Manager, was very responsive; he came right over to look at the problem, determined immediately what the cause of the leak was (a branch fell on the roof causing some minor damage) and repaired it at no cost to us. I was blown away by this, especially in these hard times when everyone is looking to make a buck. They have won me over as a raving fan! I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone needing roof work.

Description of Work: Company came to see my roof for estimate then refused to come back to do the work unless I signed and faxed back the estimate - so I did fax it, but then they never came, so it kept getting worse. Finally, I had to get some different company to do the repair - then months later they claimed someone came and did the work which isnt true then they threatened to put a lien on my property, so I paid them even though they scammed me.
