Did a good job initially, but has not completed the project but they will come to finish off the works, just need to contact the sales representative for the schedule. Their pricing was fair.

Above and beyond expectations with added garage roof venting they didn't expect to be able to complete. Excellent job - great price, punctual and no muss/no fuss job. Too bad they don't do handy man work!

We needed an honest opinion regarding whether we need to replace our roof. We contacted 5 different roofing companies, including Lindholm Roofing. Four of the companies came to our house and just eyeballed the roof from the ground and gave us estimates without really examining the condition of the roof. Our experience with Rodrigo from Lindholm was very different. Rodrigo went out of his way to find a convenient time to come to our house when one of us could be home, since both my wife and I work in fairly demanding jobs. Rodrigo did a thorough inspection of our roof, including using a ladder to access and examine the shingles. He took pictures and walked me through what he saw. We had some shingles that looked bad around one of our skylights, which is one of the reasons we thought we might need a new roof. Rodrigo explained how the type of skylight and the ventilation in that part of the house might be causing the shingles to buckle, but that we didn't need a new roof based on that because the underlying layer of shingles was still in decent shape. He examined the roof in multiple parts of the house and gave his honest opinion that we still had some useful life left in our roof. He also offered to come back in a year to check again to see if the roof was still in good shape. He also caulked one shingle over our porch that had caused a small leak in the porch. He did not charge us anything for the hour or so he spent at our house. We were truly appreciative of Rodrigo's professionalism. He gave us an honest opinion even though he could have easily sold us a new roof without much trouble. When we do need a new roof, we will certainly be calling Rodrigo at Lindholm Roofing.

Very well. Lindholm came out to give us an estimate very quickly after we called. It took about four weeks from the time we returned the signed estimate to the day they did the two jobs. We would have liked it done sooner, but we knew there would be a couple weeks lead time, and the weather has been rainy off and on this fall. The guys who did the work were great. They showed up at the appointed time, got the work done efficiently and were careful not to track dirt, insulation, etc. from the attic onto the first and second floors.

Very professional from start to finish. A good variety of options for the new roof. We chose an upgrade in materials for a fair price and included an excellent warranty. The crew, as well as the project manager were very good and communicated the status of the project and any issues that came up during the removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof, including placement of vents for exhaust fans. Plywood was replaced where necessary to address problems with the 30-year old original roof. The crew did a good job cleaning up the debris that was generated during the job. We really like the look of the new roof and am sure it will protect our home for many years to come. I would not hesitate to contact Lindholm again for any future roof work for this or any home.

Initially, I was uncertain if they actually repaired the leaks, as it did not rain immediately after the repair. Our home has a furnace in the attic space, and every time it rains hard, water somehow got into the furnace area and into a pressure switch by an exhaust or intake PVC pipe. Essentially, water in this pressure switch prevented the furnace to turn on, which was needed in the winter. Chris said that they would remove sections of the existing roof (cedar shake), identify water damage and then repair it and re-install new shakes. After a very wet winter season, I can definitely state that our furnace has not had any problems since. Lindholm roofing stopped that leak as well as another leak we had on the other side of the home. I intentionally waited until now to give this review (6 months later) to see if they did the job correctly and see if we had any leaks since their repair. I would definitely hire them again for their expertise and results. Be advised, though, that they are very busy and may not get to your home immediately. In our situation, I got an estimate Nov. 29, 2017, but they informed me that they could not perform the repairs until warmer weather in early 2018. Our home has a walk-out basement and steep roof angles, so I understand that it is not safe to climb onto our roof in icy, cold conditions. In Feb, 2018, I got an email and voice mail with 1 day notice that they could do the repairs. They told me all of this upfront, which I appreciate. Overall, they were very professional and I am glad that they fixed our leaks.

I contacted Lindholm Roofing to fix a leak in our residential flat roof. Chuck looked around and provided possible solutions and estimates, which were generally in line with what other companies also provided in terms of price and what solution we needed (our current roof was in bad shape; whoever did it did a bad job). And I'll be honest, Chuck strikes me as the kind of person who does not sugarcoat his opinion on things; he didn't hesitate to provide his honest opinion on the quality of some previous work or what other roofers sometimes do. I don't mean to say he was unprofessional; I appreciate someone just giving me the info I need and not trying to dance around it, and he showed a kind of enthusiasm and pride in Lindholm's work that's good to see. But that's just me, and I can imagine other people being a little put-off by his style. Anyway, we were provided with estimates for 3 different options (repair, tear off, and roof over existing), and we ended up going with a full tearoff. The work that Lindholm did was fine, as far as I know (only time will tell), and the workers were friendly. I do believe others, though, when they say they had communication issues. While nothing happened to me that caused any problems, it was just a little strange at times. For example: Before the work was done, they mentioned that I may want to consider adding more insulation while they're doing the tear-off (we weren't sure how much was up there). When I got the estimates, this wasn't included, so I asked if we should add insulation, and how much it should cost. They responded with some details and a price, but not how well it insulates (the R-value). So I asked for the R-value, and they said for the given thickness it would be almost nothing, so they said we probably shouldn't add it. They normally do this for commercial buildings, which have a much thicker layer to work with, so it makes more sense there. So of course we ended up not adding that insulation, but it just took a little bit of roundabout communication to get there. I don't really mind, since it all worked out in the end, but it was just a little strange and I can certainly see people having issues with stuff like that. I'm just picking out one example, though; of course most of our communication was not like that. In the end, they did good work at a reasonable price, and that's what matters to me, so I'm pretty happy.

This an update on my last review. I was finally given some additional feedback on why the cost of my job increased 125%, without notification. Although I still did not like the communication overall, they did apologize for the lack of notification and the job was done to my satisfaction.

They quoted me $8000 for chimney repairs that I ended up having done by another company for $900. They were basically trying to take me to the cleaners. Thank goodness I got a second opinion. I do not recommend this company. They will over charge you.

I contacted Lindholm about a roofing repair. I was told someone would call me to schedule a time for an estimate. Turns out Michael Huston came out to my home in about 5 days with no contact to me and I received an estimate by e-mail. If that was the only problem their service would be OK. I contacted Mr. Huston by phone and he said he was up on a roof and would call me in 15 minutes. 4 days later after getting no return call, I phoned him and an appointment was made for him to come to my home and discuss the project as he pointed other alleged problems with the roof. He didn't show. If Lindholm acts like this when they want to get your business how responsive would they be after they already have your money

August 2015. Replaced gutters/downspouts that were too small and damaged. Added additional downspouts to provide adequate capacity. Estimator was thorough and knowledgeable. Price was higher than I expected, but could not find other credible contractor in desired time-frame. Everything went well; installers did a good job. I was a blt surprised that installers didn't seem to refer to estimator's plans, but instead asked me what I wanted done.

We have had several roofers out for what we believed to be a gutter a leak and therefore thought we needed to replace our gutters but they actually just needed to be cleaned. Michael Huston came with his ladder and verified this, saving us a lot of money which I can not believe was not pipetted out to us by the many other roofers we had look at the situation. We are thankful for lIndholm's honesty and help with our situation and we will most likely contact them asap with any other roofing or gutter issues that arise,.

It went fine, it took a little longer then was originally told for them to get to the repairs. But it was done in one day and the clean-up was great. Overall, I am pleased with the results.

The work was held up a little by the weather which was not Lindholm's fault. Once the work started it was completed in one day. They even came back and sealed two dormers at no extra charge which was very professional and kind of them. Easy to work with and very pleased with the quality of the work. Thank you Lindholm!

The service is excellent. The gentleman that was in charge is very good at communicating. He would call prior to coming. He would always show up on time. He always kept us up to date and what has to be done.

Everyone I dealt with was very professional and informative. They came out to inspect quickly and were very thorough and honest. The job was done in a timely manner and looks great. We have absolutely no problems. A hassle-free experience. I highly reccomend Lindholm roofing and will definetly use them again in years to come.

They eagerly accepted the work, charged us $750 for the job (not a very big roof), but once onsite they exhibited a real lack of interest and skill. We were experiencing water leaking through the inside ceiling of our porch, which was expensive beadboard. Their initial assessment and estimate seemed right, but they were so wrong. They came to our home and literally stayed for one hour. The leaking continued. It took 3 months to get someone back out to look at the sloppy job they did, and they always came when we were not home. In the end, we cut our losses and hired a crew we saw working on a nearby house. The difference in basic expertise was truly remarkable. Stay away from Lindholm!!

I previously used Lindholm for a gutter repair work which went well and thought they would do just as well in roof repair work. I contacted Lindholm at least 3 times about having the roof inspected to obtain a proposal but it was never done. I followed up by calling the representative assigned to inspect the roof and left several voicemails; I never received any callbacks.

Given the mold in our home, the upcoming winter and some health issues in our family - they were extremely responsive and helped schedule us to get the work done promptly. Great service and thank you Lindholm!

Rolled roofing was replaced satisfactorily. The leaking roof repair was unsatisfactory. There was rainy weather within a month after the repairs had supposedly been done. However, there were still leaks. I'd contacted the project manager (Jim Hoye), who stated via a telephone conversation that the leaks could be from an old window. I reminded him that he supposedly provided a proposal of work to be done based off of a inspection before the project began. As a customer, and lay person, I expect the roofing professional to inform me what work needs to be done beforehand. He informed me that he could come out and take a look at what was done (I assumed that as the project manager he would have done this once his workman had completed the work), and if additional repairs had to be completed we would be required to pay for the additional work. We've declined the offer, and will be choosing another roofing company.

Called Lindholm. They called right back. Project manager was out two days later to assess problem. Received the scheduling call within a week. They accommodated my schedule. Received another call several days later to confirm the appointment. And received yet another call the day day before the work was to be done to reconfirm one more time. Exceptional follow-up.
