I called for an appointment but never got a call back, instead I received a letter from them about a week later stating someone had come out and looked at the roof and an estimate for the cost. But I never talked to anyone no one rang the doorbell or called to inform me they were even coming to the house, so I used one of the other companies I had called for estimates.

The experience was outstanding from start to finish. The office staff was courteous, the project manager was very responsive and provided us with various options and patiently answered all of our questions. The roofing crew was exceptional - we were amazed they hand nailed all the shingles! Our neighbor's remarked at how hard working they were and how efficiently they cleaned up when the job was completed. We plan to hire them this spring to replace our aluminum, fascia, soffit and gutters.

They have done various roofing projects here in the past, but are no longer responsive to questions/requests for information.

Company is extremely professional. We had mold in our attic and the company worked with mold solutions to ensure they had easy access to provide the best treatment. They were professional on and finished on time as promised. We had the roof replaced in July, and with the recent heavy snow and ice, noticed water damage in our office. Our first thought was the roof is leaking! We called Tim Lindholm who dispatched a service technician the same day. He inspected the roof and the attic to discover the problem was caused by a vent pipe installed when we replaced our furnace and water heater. The response was immediate, and the inspection was thorough. He even offered to come back in spring to inspect the completed job once the heating and air conditioning company replaced the vent. This went above and beyond our expectations. We were so pleased at the responsiveness

We did our research and obtained multiple quotes and after much thought and review we selected Lindholm Roofing. When we signed the contract we believed we made the right choice. When the work was completed and we were completely satisfied we were absolutely certain we did make the right choice. From the beginning, everyone at Lindholm Roofing was helpful, courteous and professional. Their pricing was cost competitive and when the project was completed we felt we got more than our money's worth. Thank You Lindholm Roofing.

They were timely and did a good job. They cleaned up well.

I had a new roof put on before we purchased our home. The roof is very steep, so this process took a very long time, about a month. After so many years, we had to get the roof replaced. The sales person came out and quoted me only for 4 pallets and can be fixed in a week. I let him know this process will take about a month and need more workers and materials to fix this roof; he may want to recalculate, just to save himself from under cost. The job ended up taking 2 months, and 2 extra trucks full of shingles. The workers started shingling over the trees; they were just ready to get this job done. The job took a lot longer than what they anticipated.

I called Lindholm a couple of months ago and asked them to come out and take a look at a roof leak. Supposedly someone from Lindholm came out to take a look at the roof, however, no one was at home at the time. Lindholm contacted us by phone and told us that we definitely have a leak and the costs would be $450. My first impression was unacceptable because I don't know if anyone came out or not especially when no one was at home. On November 20th, I called Lindholm again to see if they could send someone out to meet my Insurance person and to discuss the work that needs to be done. I spoke with Mark Trier from Lindholm and he agreed to meet my insurance person Saturday, November 23rd at noon. However, I received another call from Mark on the day he was supposed to come out to say that he was running late and may not be able to make it. He also asked me if it was necessary for him to come out and meet with the insurance person. Again, I gave this company a benefit of the doubt and they failed me. I will never contact this company again!

We got some quotes and selected Lindholm to do our roof. Tim Lindholm was very responsive on questions about the quote, and we knew the company had a good reputation. They called to tell us when the job was scheduled a few days in advance, and showed up promptly on the appointed day. A large crew (6 or 7) worked to tear off the old roof and evaluate the decking for needed repairs. After repairing as needed, they put down ice and water shield at the eaves, felt over the balance of the roof, and installed the shingles. They installed all new flashings, roof vents and attic fans, and reset the skylight to be watertight with new flashing. The crew used an improved material to address a low slope area over the garage where we have historically had leak problems. They also replaced a metal fireplace chimney and a furnace flue that were 25+ years old and in pretty bad shape. The crew managed to tear off and re-shingle a large section each day so we had no issue with tarps or exposed roof decking overnight, and they were able to finish a rather large roof (ranch house so a lot of area) in two days. They were careful to cover the bushes near the house and protect the windows as they did the tearoff so there was no damage. They did a thorough cleanup so there was no debris left around, including a final walk around by the foreman just before they left. With the new shingles, the new flashing, vents, chimney and so on, the roof looks much better. I would definitely recommend Lindholm Roofing.

I called Lindholm to have an estimate for a roof replacement. A receptionist took my name, phone number, email, and address and I was told that someone would contact me to make an appointment for a time to come to the house and give me an estimate. A week later, I get an email with an estimate for a lay over on the roof and a contact to call if I was interested in signing a contract. No one called and I did not know that someone was coming to my house. Because I didn't speak to someone, I felt slighted because I didn't know the difference between a lay over and a tear off (I had to google it to get more info) and I had no information about why he thought a layover would be the best for my house. Needless to say, I did not choose them for the job.

Absolutely great. Mike went through every detail with me and was quick to call back when I had a question about the work to be done. The crew, headed by Richard, worked hard and did a great job protecting the property and cleaning it up.

It was a great experience from start to finish. They were honest and professional. That's ALL I ask in a service provider. Nuff said!

End of the story within 2 weeks. UPDATE 11/12/13: Chris Wheeler our consultant was excellent. He knew the roofing/gutter business in detail. Instead of trying to sell us something that we thought we needed such as 6 inch gutters and Leaf Relief screens for the gutters, he gave us the pros and cons to both. Larger gutters were not needed and the leaf relief was not needed. He felt that it would be to our advantage to hire someone twice a year to clean the gutters than to pay the extra money for leaf relief. Especially since the gutter system would take in less water with the gutter guards. The workmanship done by the roofers was excellent, the lead person Richard explained to us everything that the roofers would do. He also explained how the roofers would leave at least 4 inches of ice/water shield hanging over the edge of the roof, so when the gutters were attached to the fascia, there would be a perfect seal of Ice/water shield from roof to the gutters. The gutter men with Emmanuel,as the lead person were just as great. Emmanuel explained everything that they were going to do. Chris Wheeler our consultant checked on the work being done twice each day of the two day job. Our contact with Patty in the office was excellent. When she said that she would call me back the next day with information that we needed, she called us back the next morning. We highly recommend this company. We give Lindholm Roofers an A+

My husband and I had just purchased our first home and were told by our home inspector that we needed to have some masonry and chimney work done. We had heard of Lindholm on WBBM radio ad

We needed a roofing inspection for the purchase of our home. A roofer came out within 2 days and gave us an excellent review and estimate for repairs. Very satisfied. I would definitely consider using them for the actual repair.

Work was completed on time on scheduled date. No complaints. It was nice that Lindholm added larger drip recepticles at the base of the downspouts to catch the additional runoff. I'm very happy with the work.

Timely and professional. They never tried to sell me a new roof, but instead recommended and proposed some maintenace to the existing one.

Lindholm did good work for us. Their representative arrived promptly, made and explained their estimate. Once weather and conditions allowed, their repairmen did the work quickly.

Initially, we were very pleased. The reason we selected them was because they guaranteed that the roof would not leak around the skylights. It did, but more on that later. The installation went well. They cleaned up affer themselves and I was pleased how they left the premise looking. However, a roof is only as good as its staying power, and over the years we have had problems. As indicated above, the roof leaked in several places around the skylights within the first year. Many times. The first time or two that we called, they made a repair. It didn't last. Eventually they said there was nothing more they could do. We are now around year 13 of the roof, and while I know roofs don't last forever, I don't think this one lasted as long as it should. It ciontinues to leak around skylights and in our dining room and we are getting ready to replace it. As far as customer service goes, they were very polite when we were buying the roof. Not so much when it started to leak. I would definitely not use them again.

They were the most honest roofing company we came across. Matt came out for an estimate. I explained that we were selling our house and that we wanted to make sure the roof was properly maintained and wanted an honest answer on whether we needed to replace the roof. (We had had no interior leaks at all). After his examination, he stated that the roof just needed a few spot repairs, but that there were still 5-10 years left on the roof, assuming a 20 year life for most roofs. It was in pretty good condition still. The other roofing companies had recommended a UV protection layer, but Matt said that, to be honest, at this point in the roof's life (halfway at least) the UV layer would only extend its life by 6 months, which is not worth it. They came out and worked quickly. They addressed all the spots noted in the inspection report. They also were able to stand by their work with a letter issued to the sellers' confirming everything they had told me about the roof. This company worked with a great deal of integrity with us. Matt answered his cell phone at least 80% of the time, and the staff at the main line were also very courteous and helpful. We would strongly recommend them to any homeowners.

Lindholm was easy to work with right from the start. I called and left a message with their receptionist and within a few hours the owner came out my property to introduce himself. A couple days later I had an appointment with their roofers to check out the roof and about a week later they began work on the roof! Their workers were fast and efficient. They were always polite to residents of the building and they cleaned up at the end of each day. The new roof, gutters, and downspouts look great! I am glad our condo board hired Lindholm and I would definitely recommend their work.

We have always used Lindholm as our go-to folks for roofing, although this was the biggest project we gave them. For the most part, everything went just fine. We are certainly happy with the finished product. The one minor complaint is that where they replaced the chimney flashing, they also replaced some roofing tiles on my garage and they don't come close to matching what was previously there. I do wish there was a bit more communication. After the initial estimate came in and I sent back the finished contract, I heard nothing. I finally called and was told it would be two- to three weeks for the work to be done and they would call me. Three weeks passed with no call, so I called them and was put on the schedule for the upcoming Friday. There was no range of times provided. Friday arrives and at 3:45 p.m., after seeing no crew, I called again. I was told they probably weren't coming, that maybe there was a weather-related delay (it was sunny and gorgeous) but that they'd come on Saturday and call to let us know they were coming. At that point, I took the dog for a walk and came back to find roofers at work. They were courteous and professional, went right to work and were done before dusk. They picked up every bit of trash and even removed an old antenna that had been on the roof when we bought the house 16 years ago. So overall, a good experience and a company I will be calling again, when we need more roof replacement work done. I think that, like a lot of local contractors with good reputations, they may be overwhelmed with work right now and the appointment department is having some problems keeping up.

Lindholm did a FINE job, cleaned up afterwards and was neat. However, since the work was done, we have had issues with a leaking skylight due to "flashing" possibly not done right. We have called at least 8 times for someone to come out and look at the situation we are experiencingwhen it rains. Our skylight now leaks at all four corners when it rains and yet our calls for HELP from Lindholm have not been replied back. We will be calling another contractor to come out and repair this and I'm sure they will welcome the business (we will have to pay them for this repair as well) Service to do the roofing, gutters and siding was excellent, but if you need follow up service, it goes unanswered. Part of GOOD service is followup and they failed miserably.
